Download error on already purchased music

I get a download error when loading already purchased music to my iPhone 4

I try and download a song and it almost finishes and than "unable to download song" pops up "blank song could not be downloaded at this time. " than I get two choices done or retry. When I go to downloads the song is there and underneath it says download error tap to retry.

    - Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    - Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
    - Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck
If they are still available and listed in your Puchase History then contact iTunes

  • Downloading already purchased music in Sweden

I recently made a clean start with a new installation and upgrade to Lion, iCloud and all those new faboulistic apps. Sadly, i was naive enough to think that i would be able to download all my already purchased software, music, ringtones and such without any hassle from iTunes Store after i've installed the new OS but... Nah! The only things that appears under "purchased" in the store are apps and books but no music or ringtones.
Hence, my question is if it's really supposed to be like that???
I googled this and understood that there might be some license issues and that those have to be renegotiated before you can access your music through iCloud. The US, GB, Holland, New Zeeland and many other countries already have that possibility as far as i understand.
    Can anyone fill me in!?
    /God save atheism!

Note: Previously purchased music is only available through iTunes in the Cloud in Australia, Canada, Cypress, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Previously purchased TV shows are only available through iTunes in the Cloud in the United States.
That information is available from here > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
This is why Apple suggests users to backup their iTunes media > How to back up your media in iTunes

  • HT201272 why can't I re-download already purchased music from the itunes store?

why can't I re-download already purchased music from the itunes store?

What country are you in ? Re-downloading music isn't currently possible in all countries (the record companies need to agree to it for each country). If you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded, then if the tracks are still in the store then they should show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.

  • Why can't I download already purchased music onto my ipad mini

I can't download already purchased music. I've tried connecting to my Macbook but it doesn't recognise my ipad mini.

Try deleting the waiting app then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • Do I have to "enable" icloud on PC to get already purchased music on ipad?

Does anyone know if I can just login to itunes from my ipad from the same itunes/apple id that I used on my pc....and download already purchased music from my account? OR do I have to install the icloud control panel on my PC first to "enable" icloud..... THEN I get the already purchased music on my ipad?

No, the iCloud control panel does not need to be installed on your PC to redownload purchased music, apps etc. You will need at least iOS 4.3.3 or later on your device to redownload your purchases directly to your iPad.

I have a "download error" of a purchased movie that I was attempting to download to my iPad. How do I delete the download attempt? Since it has been there several weeks now, it is safe to assume it is not going to download to my iPad. I just want to get rid of it!

Perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

  • Help! I already purchased music, but I clicked download and it purchased them again.

Ok so theres music that I already purchased on my itunes, and I went to my purchases and hit the download button because the albums all had the icloud symbol on them and it never allows me to play the music on my phone or laptop. Anyway, I hit download and it like bought them all again! So I'm trying to figure out who I can contact to get my money back. Thanks! <3

Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for a refund. If they got charged to a credit card, you can also contact the card’s issuer and dispute the charge.

  • Music and apps lost from iphone, Can I download already purchased music from itunes again?

I recently had a problem and apps on my iphone would not open, so I restored my phone to the factory settings and I lost all of my apps and music because I failed to sync them properly, can I download the songs and apps I already purchased on itunes again? how?

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For redownloading apps, look here for instructions.  For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items and don't have them on another iOS device, you may be out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis.
    Regards.

  • Downloading already purchased music?

I have already download like half of the music from iCloud. I did this about a month and a half ago and then I could just press the little iColud download button. But now I when I want to download the other half of the music, when I click the button it won't work or do anything like instead of being black, the button is grey like I can't click it. So I am super confused. Any help?

Sure yo have enough space on your iPhone?
