Download error when downloading movies?

Downloaded movies and in downloads it says error but they are showing up in videos. Are they downloaded? Do not want to click on it and then have only 24hours to watch it? Please advise?

This alert is related to iTunes Store movie rentals and authorization issues.
Make sure you are using the most recent version of iTunes and QuickTime. They both can be downloaded free of charge.
If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder.

Error when copying movie file

I get an error when trying to backup an iMovie file to an external hard drive.
Unexpected error occurred. Error code -1309.

Yes, reformatting will unfortunately wipe out the contents of the drive.
FAT32 has some limitations that make it not a good choice for storing movie clips. The biggest drawback is that the file size is limited to 2 GB, so if your movie clip is too long, you simply cannot store it on that drive.

IT IS AN ERROR WHEN THE MOVIE IS ENCODING

Finally I finished a long project about 2 hours and 50 minutes and I am trying to make a Disk Image with chapters and the carrousel effect which is nice. It started making the compresion from the DVD, but after finish the process stop and says and error occurred when the movie is encoding, I tried once again and is the same problem. Somebody can help me? I need to know what is the solution. Fot this project I am using a MacBookPro OS 10.5.1 and the iMovie 6 and iDVD 8

When renting a movie in iTunes it doesnot complete the last part and says unable to download at this time

Apple Tech support doesn't respond here. This is a user-to-user forum.
You can always restore your Touch to get the memory back. And as, of course, you have everything properly backed up (you do, right?), you can just reload when you're done. I don't know as there is a faster solution.

Download Error when Renting Movies

Hi,
Today I tried to Rent the Movies "Closer" and "Abandon" in HD. After pressing OK it started downloading but it never got past 0%. After a few seconds it displayed the error:
Download Error (-50).
The movie rental fees where charged to my account.
I tried buying the movie and it worked just fine.
Any help would be appreciated renting.

It happened with two movies I tried to Rent. Then I puchased one of those movies and it worked fine. (Bad movie by the way... he..he..)
I have not tried to rent any more movies after that.
This is what customer service said:

Itunes download error when buying movie.

Says movie has been purchased, but will not download and says retry. This is the ongoing pattern every time retry is pressed.
Please help.

Error when adding .MOV file to Premiere Elements 10

Im trying to add videos taken on my ipad to a new project in Premier Elements 10, but I get this error: Add Media Failure = The importer reported a generic error.
I've read that .mov is just some sort of container and I might need to download a codec of some sort. Has anybody already solved this problem and can just dumb it down for me? Im new to all this - its just a hobby, so Im not very technical.

If you open the MOV in Media Info or G Spot, what does it show as its resolution, frame rate and codec?

As you've said, the MOV suffix itself doesn't tell you much. Inside that package could be any of hundreds of possible codecs, most of which won't digest well in Premiere Elements.
Meantime, are you on a Mac or PC? What operating system are you using? Have you got the latest version of Quicktime on your machine, per the program's requirements?

Why does iTunes create disk errors when deleting movie files?

I use a Macbook Pro, OSX 10.7.5. When I delete movie file from my iTunes library I get disk errors. I need to option boot select the recovery disk and repair the disk. Deleting a movie file I have placed on my desktop with finder does not create any errors. Most of the movie files are created as .m4v movies. They all play just fine with my Apple TV. I have tried turning off the Apple TV and rebooting before I delee files but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

If you let iTunes organise your media folders then that is the way it is. An option would be to change the Media Kind to TV Show which would gather them togther in one folder, but in a different part of the library.

Don't Send Error when playing movies with CL Entertaiment Cen

When I try to watch movies with the Creative Entertaiment Center (via remote) but I get the don't send error bellow. Music and photos have no issues, only movies give me errors. Any ideas?

Error when converting movies

I have an Ipod Video 30Gb. My Itunes can´t convert movies to the Ipod-format. What am I doing wrong? When a try, Itunes just shuts down. I have Quicktime PRO and when I try to export the movies from there to the Ipod, it just shuts down too!

okay. let's try swapping out your QuickTime.
let's try this technique first.
head into your Add/Remove programs. uninstall QuickTime.
Next, we’ll manually remove any leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly now?

Why do i get NullPointerException errors when i move my screen?

My GUI program compiles and runs fine without errors. However, when i click the top of the GUI and click/drag it around somewhere, i get all these nullpointerexceptions in my dos screen, where my program was compiled and run. Any ideas?

Error message in iTunes app when downloading movies

I have this error in the iTunes app that whenever I try and restart a download it seems to not download the file properly and gives me the wrong amount of time it will take to download the movie to my phone and then fails to download the movies saying, "Download error. Tap to retry". I have tried "tapping to retry" several times and over and over again I get the same error every time I "tap to retry". It's stopping me downloading any movies now and now these files are stuck on my phone partially downloaded and unable to be finished, it's like their stuck in the ether of suspended animation and there isn't much I can do because I can't remove these partially downloaded movies off my phone, even when I connect my phone to iTunes for windows 7 they don't show up as existing on the phone, it is as if I never downloaded them in the first place and I can't download these movies from the desktop either because the "buy/rent" buttons are shaded out stopping me downloading these movies. As you can see I am stuck in a bit of a quandry.

My computer was unauthorized to view/hear anything purchased from iTunes. I was able to fix the problem. Thanks!

8008 Error when trying to download movies from iTunes

I've searched Google and the discussion boards but no one seems to have a fix for the 8008 error when trying to download movies in iTunes. I have the latest version of iTunes, my Mac Mini is up to date with all of it's patches, I've tried deleting the movie in the download folder and redownload the movie but I still get nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?

These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
Mac OS X:  ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
