I had the same problem. The fix is to go Oulook. Under "View" turn off "People Pane". That's all it takes problem went away.

How do I re-sequence pages in a pdf file, which is in booklet format?

I have a pdf file which is an A5 booklet in duplex for-printing order, with two A5 pages printed on one A4 area. I want to re-sequence these pages to simple ascending page number order, for reading online. How do I do it?
The first A4 page of my pdf file consists of A5 page 1 on left and A5 page 48 on right, followed by the second A4 page consisting of A5 page 47 on left and A5 page 2 on right, and so on. [I can print this out OK as a booklet, except that the second A4 page, etc. is upside down.]
Do I need to take the crude, grunt approach and cut and paste each A5 page, one at a time, into a new document? I am using Acrobat XI Pro

Why do pdf files from some web sites download as aspx files, which I can't open from Firefox but I can in Internet Explorer?

I have tried downloading files which are supposed to be pdf but they download as aspx files. This doesn't happen if I use Internet Explorer and other pdfs from the same web site download without a problem.

To make a long story short, the server can send a preferred file name but isn't always programmed to do so. IE sniffs the beginning of the file and may override what is sent by the server; Firefox does not.
You can manually change the file extension when you save it (if you have Firefox set to ask you where to save) or you can rename it after it is saved.

WebLogic Issue: Unable to download files more than 32 KB

Hi all,
When i am trying to download files which are having size more than 32 KB, i am getting the error " [WRITE_ERROR_TO_SERVER] (POST timed out to the server <IPAddress>:7006) raised at line 152 of ap_proxy.cpp
Uploading is working fine and able to download files having size less thann 32 KB.
The following is an excerpt from plug-in log file. I dont see any errors in the web logic logs.

Hi,
Try to increase chunk size once and check you have issue still persist or not.

Issue while downloading file in .CSV format

Hi,
I need to download the file in .CSV format.
I hade used FM SAP_CONVERT_TO_CSV_FORMAT and then used GUI_Download.
Now when I am opening file which is downloaded, it gives all the data in a single column. If there are 5 fields in my table, the generated file gives the data of all the 5 fields in a single column.

Downloading files in mp3 format

I am a novice at this. I have an mp3 player, but not an ipod. Can I download files from the itunes store in mp3 format so that I can play them on my mp3 player?
I downloaded one file from the itunes store. However, It won't work in the format that it is in. Please help. I really want to buy music but I need it in the format that i require.

Sorry, songs downloaded from the iTunes store are available in Protected AAC format only, which means that they are only playable on your PC and iPods. Another alternative would be to burn the downloaded song to a CD and then re-rip it as an MP3. You'd lose some quality, but at least it would be playable on your player.

Zone information on download files - no longer in alternate data stream on Windows 7 or IE 8 ?

In Windows XP and Vista, when IE (or messenger) download a file an alternate data steam named "Zone.Identifer" is created to store information about the zone the file orginated from. This was how Windows knew which files should have that "This file
came from another computer and might be blocked" with an "Unblock" button in the properites for such files. Of course, this only works if downloading to an NTFS volume.
Vista also added the /R option for DIR, which allows us to see the alternate data streams. I can easily confirm this behavior on my home PC, which is Vista.
But on my Windows 7 desktop at the office, there do not seem to be any alternate data streams on downloaded files. DIR /R shows no Zone.Identifier ADS for downloaded files, and "This file came from another computer and might be blocked" is not displayed
in the downloaded file properties.
Nonetheless, downloaded files are preserving zone information. If I download an HTML file from our Intranet, and then open the downloaded file in IE, it shows as being in the Intranet zone. If I then copy that file to a FAT partition and back
to my desktop, it then shows as being in the local Computer zone. So there is metadata that was removed by copying to/from FAT.
Any ideas what is happening here? How is the zone information being stored, if it is not in an ADS any more?

HMM I have the same problem. My researches suggest that the Zone.Identifier ADS is still being used for the internet zone, but not the Intranet zone. I too can get an intranet location out of IE, but not by querying Zone.Identifier eg using Powershell. This
issue is present in XP as well as Win 7. It appears to extend to trusted zone ids.
One hypothesis is that this is being stored in hidden form to prevent zone ids that decrease security being applied by malware.
I had thought that maybe the intranet zone id was only present during download - but your experiment suggests otherwise.

In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

Downloading a file which is stored in FTP

I am developing a webdynpro application where i need to display the flenames in the table which are stored in FTP. And by clickng the filename,it should be downloadable.
Can anyone Please tell how to download a file through webdynpro application (the file should come from FTP)

1) Create an FTP connection from NW java App. server to the FTP server.
or
2) Use ftp location, username & password in URL and read the file.
or
3) Use any .jar file which reads from ftp.

- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Download file in particular format

I want to download a file. The downloaded file should open in its corresponding application. A �.DOC� file should open in MS Word and �.XLS� file should open in MS Excel. What should be set in HttpRequest and/or HttpResponse objects to achieve this?
