For anyone not thrilled with the new iTunes 11, here's the download for both PC & Mac for iTunes 10.7

For the Mac, use the blue button in the upper right corner of the web page.
For the PC use the link in blue in the main body of text.
Remember, you will need to have a backup of your itunes library, or you will have to drag & drop your content on iTunes when you get 10.7 reinstalled, which will cause iTunes to rebuild your library.

Interesting. That's more common on Windows systems.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of Safari for the download (or vice versa), do you get a .dmg installer?

Yes, I am seeing that same incorrect behavior here.
Luckily, the Pandora option to buy from Amazon Digital Music is working correctly.

No, there is no 64 bit version that will run on XP.
However if you are prepared to to some hacking, some people have got ot to work.

iTunes itself is a 32 bit application, the 64 bit installer has 64 bit drivers.

Unable to complete download for iTunes 10.6.1

I updated to 10.6.1 and suddenly it took 15 hours to download a TV show to my desktop!
Now not even apps download (error 3253) so I uninstalled iTunes and tried to install a fresh download and got a further surprise " this download cannot be read(not a windows 32 bit program)" and the download failed.
I went from an iTunes install that functioned poorly to one that, with the update, functioned not at all.
Just to add to the fun I ran the diagnostic before I uninstalled the previous copy and the internet connection was fine!
Also, updating Safari on my computer went just fine and in less than 30 seconds (FiOS).
This seems to be an escalating argument between Win7 and iTunes and I just want to it to stop.
How do I download and install the 64 bit version and get my library back with no more hassles.
I have Win7 64 bit on the desktop, my laptop (also Win7 64 bit) an iPad2 are unaffected by this problem so if you needed more proof that it's not the router set up, in addition to what the diagnostic said, there it is.
Need solution!

Download for itunes 10.6.1 is really 10.6.0.40??

iTunes update 10.6.1 has been announced. When I download the latest iTunes version from the download site I get version 10.0.6.40 (already installed), not 10.6.1. Is the update really available?

I just downloaded an iTunes64Setup.exe to check. It's a 10.6.1.7.
Right-click on your iTunesSetup.exe and select "Properties". What version number is showing in your "Details" tab? For example, here's a screenshot of what I see in my installer file's details tab:

What no download for iTunes 7?

Is it me just being a pleb or has the "Download" link on the itunes/download page been swiped?
I would like to upgrade but I can't because there is nothing there other than how good itunes 7 is. Looking at the other discussions I assume that with all the problems Apple are having they have taken it off.
Can someone let us know if this is the cas please!

Please make it simpler I don't have all day to go through the FAQ's etc before I eventualy get to a page where I can give some real feedback!!! bring up your Norton Protection Center. Click Norton AntiSpam. switch Ad Blocking off.

If it is available in your area it'll be on the following page:
Settings>Store.
There will be two switches, one to turn on automatic downloads of music, and the other for apps. If its available in your country then that's where you'll find it.

When I execute my download for Itunes windows comes back with the error file does not exist verify it

The following error message comes up every time I run the Itunes installer package.
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package."
I've tried several downloads, but they all end with the same error message.
I also resently had my hard drive cleared due to a virus, so possibly missing something?

Download for iTunes 10.3.1 freezes?

Hi,
I recently got an iPod Touch and am attempting to download iTunes 10.3.1. However, whenever I try to download it, the download freezes at 73%, every time. I'm downloading it for Windows 7 64-bit. Does anyone know what could cause this? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same issue. I took it the genius bar and called talked to tier 2 phone support. They have standard thing where you uninstall all apple software in a certain order and then reinstall 64bit itunes. That did nothing (tried it 4 times).
I've gotten two clues so far.
One is that at the store if I plug someone else's iphone 4 in then itunes acts the same way. So it is not the phone. Two is tier 2 phone support told me to try syncing it with a fresh user account (an admin one). I did that and itunes was just fine, it did not freeze.
So there appears to be some conflict with the software, music files, whatever that is on my current user account (also an admin account). I ran virus and malware detectors and found nothing. Now I'm going to try putting my music, movies, apps, etc in the new user account and see if the phone will sync then.
I know its not much but thats where I'm at. I hope it helps.

I am running itunes 10.6.1.7 on my windows 7 notebook. itunes prompted me for new update 10.6.3 and clicked to download. But nothing download and there is no indication that a download is done. Connection to internet is fine. No errors. Any clues?

Select "Save" instead of "Run". Once downloaded, go to the downloaded folder, right click the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' to install

No download for iTunes 12 32-bit Windows Installer?

I am trying to download the 32-bit version of iTunes 12.0.1. On the iTunes download page it only lists the 64-bit installer. I have searched through Google and found the page Apple - Support - Downloads has the link for the 32-bit version, and even defines the file size at the bottom of the page for the installer (File Size: OS X (222.4 MB ) Windows (109.8 MB) Windows64 (122.4 MB)). However, when I select to download, it brings me right back to the 64-bit download page (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/).
Can you point me in the right direction on how to get the 32-bit version installer download? Or is this not currently available at this time?

Automatic download for iTunes Match?

I just purchased iTunes Match, while I like the idea, in fact really love the the idea, that it indexes all of the music I got from my CDs and associating it with my Apple ID, I'm also quite disappointed by the technical side of it. I got a pretty bad impression of it when it tried to upload the songs that are not in iTunes stores to Apple's server, it just too absolutely ages and breaks off every once in a while so I had to restat the upload process many times to get all my songs uploaded. Then I realised that on my iPhone, the songs were not downloaded automatically and every time I play it I must stream it from the Internet, and for some reason it won't even let me stream when I'm on 3G (the song names simply grey out in my library). Is there a way so that my library is automatically downloaded to all of my devices? And when I add a new song not from the iTunes store can I set it so it automatically add that too on my iOS devices?
Another thing is that I have two Macs, my MacBook Pro and my iMac, my iTunes library on my MBP is my primary one and I want to mirror that on my iMac, however when I tried to turn on iTune Match a message popped up saying only one computer can be matched. Can I make it so that my library on the iMac is matched from my Macbook Pro?
