Download helper stopped working on youtube

About a week ago, download helper stopped working on all youtube videos. It works perfectly fine on my other laptop so I know it's not an issue with the add-on itself/youtube. The icon doesn't spin when I'm watching anything on youtube, and I've tried watching the same vid on the 2nd laptop and I can download it without any issues. Download helper has no issues at all downloading from other sites just youtube.
I've reinstalled both firefox and download helper multiple times, obviously deleted all cookie and data, which I always delete anyways. I've tried using a new profile on firefox, changed the download location as well. Both laptops has pretty much the same stuff running, in fact the laptop that is working has even more programs/apps ect. yet it is fine.

Please update your outdated Shockwave Flash 11.9 r900 version.

Which Firefox settings did you clear with CCleaner?

I hate it when updates break things instead of fixing them. Can't Mozilla leave well enough alone? At the very least, each new release should be tested so it works with ALL PREVIOUS extensions!
Wait till you "update" to firefox 4 and EVERYthing breaks, including the buttons that come with it. There is no arrow next to the dropdown button, right clicking the tab bar doesn't bring up the correct menu, but one as though it were the menu bar (which is missing) and the information bar is missing. True, it's fast, but you'll spend weeks getting it to work properly.

All my downloaded apps stopped working. When I click, they just flash then I'm back at home screen. What happened and how do I fix?

Mobile device helper stop working

After installed the 10.5 itunes, when running itunes, it always shows the mobile device helper stop working. And when doing syn, it says the back up is not working!!!!
Is any one getting these sort of problems?

TS1702 downloaded apps stop working

Every 2-3 weeks all downloaded apps stop working.
I have to deleted one of the downloaded apps, reinstall that app, then everything works for another 2-3 weeks.
What is happening and how can it be fixed for good?

Guys a hard reset fixes this. This usually occurs when the last third party app you used didnt close right. You must reset the device to fix this. If this doesnt work then the apps may of been corrupted and you will want to download them again for free. Yes this is a pain in the *** but what can you do about it? Not our faults Apple rushed this firmware out.

Apple already have a position on such matters. If you have a problem with one particular service and not others, contact the provider.

However, 3 similar reports, do not a problem make. Perhaps there is a problem, perhaps there isn't, but it really doesn't seem to affect many people if there is, believe me when there is a problem it's quite obvious from the additional traffic it causes in these communities. It's also not exactly clear that you are all seeing exactly the same thing.

All google websites suddenly stopped working (gmail, youtube, blogspot)

The same thing has been happening to me over the last few days. My google bar, google website, and other google-related sites such as blogger stopped working, forcing me to switch over to firefox. I had no problems using firefox version 2 for a few days.
However, a curious thing happened yesterday. I downloaded firefox version 3, and now neither of my web browsers load google sites correctly. Youtube still works for me, but mainly it is google, gmail, and blogger that simultaneously stop working. I have found that restarting my computer and wiping the cache and reseting safari buys me about 30 minutes of time in which google sites will run, but after 30 minutes the sites stop working again. I do not know how to fix it! It is such a weird problem because it is affecting both of my web browsers.

The file I want to download shows up in the log, I click on it, a Windows Explorer window pops up with the file name. I click on save as usual, the pop up closes and then nothing happens. No files are downloading. I don't even get a 0 byte file.
Anybody else have this problem and if so, is there a solution?

I've also got this problem. It happened ever since Firefox "updated". First mozilla manages to break my xkit with the update before, and now this with their latest so-called update.
Right now, I'm staring at a little (1) next to the downloadhelper icon. IT IS DOING F-ING NOTHING.
Downloading youtube videos is VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! I need these videos to make youtube poops, to add to review videos, etc.

"Open safe files after downloading" option stopped working

the safari "Open safe files after downloading" stopped working. Even when is checked, it doesn't open anything, no jpgs, no dmgs, no zips. Not sure what could've happened. I installed the new Safari 4.03 update and Speed download today. Any ideas what may be causing this problem? Thank you

One suggestion is to create via the Finder a specific download folder for your attachments. Then in the Finder, drag the folder to the sidebar. Now in Mail, when you save the attachment, simply click on the sidebar location to facilitate the save. Then, go to the Finder, click on the sidebar folder for easy access to the attachment. Remember too, Mail attachment save feature gives you the option of directly importing any images into iPhoto.

Upgraded to 9.0.1 Download helper quit working no icon in my toolbar

I upgraded to 9.0.1 and my download helper add on does not work. I tried reinstalling Firefox 9.0.1 and download helper. That didn't work

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

This is now the second time that all the free apps I have downloaded to my new iPhone 3G just stop working. I can remove them and re-install, at which time they now work again. Any ideas??

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.

HELP!!! after syncing music all downloaded applications stop working

We've restored a couple of times on 3 different computers...downloaded all updates..and after syncing the music whenever I click on an applications it starts to load but closes and goes back to the main screen...any info??

Some applications have an issue with the new 2.2 software update. You might want to wait till those apps get updated by their developers before using them.

I wonder if you could help - Whilst connecting to iTunes recently, I found that my options had all changed. When I ticked all the things I wanted to sync it asked me if I wanted to overwrite 'another' users files?
I said yes and all seems well, EXCEPT my downloads from App Store now aren't working?

I phoned Apple earlier and they seemed to be aware that it's a problem with the iPhone. They suggested re-downloading the apps (which are free once you've Purchased them) - i did this and all is well now.
