Download HP Solution center

I have tried to find the driver and it continues to tell me that it comes with my operating system. I tried to run the scan fixer and got this message
Solution Center Error:
the tool was unable to find the HP Solution Center application that you need in order to scan with HP software. If you want to scan with HP software, you can re-run the install from the CD, making sure to include HP solution center and HP imaging device function. or you can download and install the most current full feature software from HP Customer Care.
The problem is, when I click on the link there is no place to download it. It tells that it is already installed.

Hi,
The HP Solution Center is not available for Widows XP 64-bit, full functionality is only available for a 32-bit XP operating system.
As listed on the HP site, the printer is incompatible with XP 64-bit, only a workaround for printing is available by using the 990C driver and scanning is not supported on the operating system:

    Hi,
I actually referred to the Deskjet 6988 only as I was confused by the title ;-)
For the Scanjet G3110 you do have a full solution available.
If the scanner is already conneted to your PC, be sure to open Devices and Printers, right click the Scanjet 3110 and select Remove Device.
Unplug the USB and install the following software:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=dp-127945-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
I'm not surwe if the HP Solution Center will be available as well or may the HP Scanning software only, however the front panel copy button will woirk once the software will be intalled.

  • How do I download HP Solution Center

I have Windows 7 64 bit operating system and an HP C5180 printer. I had the HP Solution Center icon and it was loaded on my pc, but now when I click on the icon I get a message telling me to insert disc to finish loading (disc I have is for Windows Vista) or go to the HP Solution Center in my Start menu. Which doesn't work either. I found one download but it was not for the C5180. It was working before, but not sure what happened?

I think the easiest first step is to go to: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/siteHome?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=top
Then I put "HP solution center download" in the "Questions or keywords" search at the top of the page.  The first item listed was "How to get HP solution center" which I then clicked on and followed the path from there.
Not sure exactly what you want, but the other option is to use the link above and search for your product to get your printer specific software.
Hope that points you in the right direction.

  • How do I download the solution center to my HP Touchsmart 310 pc

I have a HP Touchsmart 310 PC with the Windows 7 operating system.  Back in January I started having trouble logging in on my page.  I was the only admin on the pc, so I could not access certain information or make any changes to the computer.  I finally erased everything in the computer memory and started over from scratch.  I have an HP Photosmart printer that I use, but when I re-installed the software, it did not include the hp solution center, so I can't scan any documents or photos to my pc.  I need help!

    Hi,
Please let us know what is your printer, hope we can help.

  • Solution Center for W7/64 Update Install Fails

I have a T420 running W7/64 bit.  During the last ThinkVantage System Update it downloaded Lenovo Solution Center.  During the install it pops up an error accessing /Program Files/Lenovo/ Lenovo Solution Center.  Something about requiring admin access (my account is an admin account).  Any ideas on how to resolve?
      Ed P.

Odds are its a bug in the update and/or server. Give it a day or two and it will likely work fine.

Hello Keld, and welcome to the HP Forums.
I see you are looking for the Solution Center software.  I would like to try and help.
I would recommend downloading and running the HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers. Once the software is launched it will allow you to install any missing software.
Please let me know how that goes.  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  • Cannot download Solution Center for Off Jet 6500 Wireless since going to Windows 8.1

I get a failure message and am unable to download HP full feature software (a.k.a. the "solution center") for my HP Officejet 6500 Wireless on my Aspire E1-571-688 Laptop.   The solution center was successfully downloaded when I got the laptop in August 2013.  It was running fine until I upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1.
When I discovered that the solution center would not run, I removed the printer and driver software beofre trying to reinstall.  When trying to get the Solution Center back, I can't get past the download step because during download it "fails".  I was able to download "drivers only" through the "add a printer" option, and I do have printing capability, however I am unable to use the scan function from the laptop (or directly from the 6500).
Weird that I can't get the scan function to work on the unit itself (I get the "no scan options" message when trying to do so) as I have confirmed mutliple times that the printer is successfully connected to the correct network.
    Help please!  Thank you
    Geo48

    Geo,
    Welcome to the HP Forum.
You will not have access to the full features of the printer software until you manage to install the Full Feature Software.  Scanning is one of those functions.
The initial Connection to the Internet is indeed part of it -- you need a reliable, clean, consistant connection that will allow you to download the full data file.  Your connection may be dropping out part way through.
You may need to upgrade your network drivers after the Upgrade to Windows 8.1 .  There are other issues can can plague a system after the Upgrade, most are well documented at this point.  You can check with your system's Forum to what others are saying.
Basic Drivers only are much smaller in size -- just a few MBs.
    Random Thoughts..
You need to resolve the network issues so you can download the full software.
You might have a friend download the file onto his computer and transfer the file to your system using a USB stick.  This does not fix your network problems but it does solve at least the issue of not being able to get a hold of the installation package.
You might try taking the computer to a friend's house -- if the issue is not within your computer's network setup, then the Upgrade may have "upset" the relationship between the computer and your home network.

  • Solution Center program will not install with D110 full feature download

I had a bug where my system kept searching for SolutionCenter.msi in a loop. I was forced to uninstall my printer software completely to fix it. Upon reinstall, the Solution Center is totally missing. I have lost the CD and downloaded the software from this link:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4023...

    Hi,
From the Start menu type SolutionCenter.MSI into the searchbar, the results should appear within the search results.
Note: if there are several results locate the one which was modified latest.
Right click the file and select Install, you should see a dialog apper...
Once the dialog completes reboot your PC and check if the HP Solution Center was added to your PC.
If there are no results type %temp% into te search bar  abd open the Temp folder.
Open the latest HP installation folder, its name begins with 7z (ex. 7zS1234)
    Open the Setup folder.
    Open the SolutionCenter folder.
Right click on SolutionCenter.msi (if the file type is hidden it tye appepars as Windows Installer File) and select Install.
Reboot your PC and check again.

  • HP Solution Center download

I need the download for the Officejet 4315v. We are looking for the HP Solution Center download.

    kbbgood,
    Welcome to the HP Forum.
If you are still running Vista, the printer supports the Full Feature Software download (that includes the Solution Center).
Windows 7 appears to support basic printer function using the built in drivers available within the Windows 7 Operating System - you can read the How-To instructions that are available where you would ordinarily download the Full Feature printer software for Windows 7.
Windows 8.1 and the support has been removed for this vintage printer.
