Download Hung

I have a specific song on a specific album that refuses to download. It is hung up. I have tried support and their suggestions are the things that I would try..
The song is about 3.1mb and gets stuck at 1.0mb. I have download about 10 songs since then with no problem.
Not sure what to do.

I was actually trying to find where the partial download is stored so that I could delete it in order for the download to start over vs picking up where it left off...

ITunes error =- 50 won't let me download Hunger Games HD

I bought Hunger Games HD. It downloaded the SD version and the special features file, but the HD file errored out with a -50 Unknown Error Occurred. Said check the connection is active and try again. Searched iTunes Help and it said delete cashed files and try again. I did that... all three files. Now it still wont downloadthe HD file... keeps giving me - 50 error... and I can't get the SD version and special feature file anymore. I tried everything. Any ideas?

Downloaded hunger games in sd-hd but can't access sd

Both the hd and the sd version of the hunger games downloaded, checked the file from finder, it says sd downloaded but when I try to access th sd version to load on my itouch or ipod but only hd version shows up 1 Hlp how do I get the sd file to transfer over?

Download hung in waiting status

I have multiple applications I'm trying to download but they are all hung with "waiting" status. I can't delete them because they don't have the little "x" in the corner when I try to delete them. Any suggestions?

Never mind. I saw a tip on the iPhone and I reset the network settings and it cleared my problem.

what form of media are you trying to download? If a book from the app store, those can only be read on iDevices, not macs.

Newsstand download hung

I started a subscription to Mac World thru iTunes/Newsstand and did not select auto download. I manually downloaded the September issue just fine but when it came time to download the October issue, it started the download but never finished. The download disk has been whirling for 2 months. The November and December issues show up as ready to download but the download is blocked because of the October issue hang up. I have tried all the reboots, checked settings and upgraded to IOS 6 but the little disk just keeps on whirling. I canceled my subscription to Mac World and will not subscribe to anything else but would like to get to the issues I paid for.

Hi. I have the same problem too.
Bought "Sound on Sound", not downloading, just dim cover showing up and download status "waiting".
Tried cancel and restart, delete, re-purchase, delete, close all apps, check time, reboot, restart,...
Any hint?

It can be a long download, so keep trying. My first download was at 3 am Cupertino time and took less than an hour. The second took close to three hours one evening.

Have others had trouble with Trojan infected download of Adobe CS2 and Premier Pro?

Last week I contacted Adobe to help me activate Creative Suites program I bought years ago but never used. I couldn't activate it after using my discs to load it on my laptop. The tech I talked to informed me Adobe no longer supported it and I could go to the website and download the programs as CS2. I removed the original software and downloaded from https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=cs2%5Fdownloads. The 3rd CS2 'CD' would not download, hung up. I closed it and finished Audition and Pro. After installation I suspected a virus may have been placed on my computer so ran McAfee, which said my computer was free of any viruses, and ClamWin, which said I have various forms of a Trojan virus throughout the Acrobat Adobe programs. I haven't tried to use them yet, and am leary of doing so. Are others having a problem downloading these programs? Should I uninstall, run ClamWin to ensure I have no more Trojans, and then reinstall?

Error 404 when trying to download purchased song

I purchased a song the other day but i am unable to download it. the error code i get is error 404.
"There was a sproblem downloading "Hung Up / Confssions On a Dance Floor / Madonna. The URL "http://a647.phobos.apple.com/r10/music/0a/69/ec/mzm.shkpfara could not be found on the server.
any ideas???

Contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of their Download FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.

TS1368 download large videos in pieces?

so when ever i try downloading, hunger games, it is about 2 gigs. and i let my computer stay on over night. my isp kills my connection because i am using it too heavily . but that not the problem. the problem comes then i get some error and itunes asks me to log in to download the file. and it cannot resume where it left off so i have to restart from the begning. i have so far downoloaded about 5 gigs worth of data and because of the errors had to just start all over again.
itunes i paid for this movie!! i have paid you itunes to give me this movie. i demand you allow me to have it. or give me a refund!
i can use bit turrent. download the movie in small 4kb blocks so that if there ever is an error the max it can make me re download at a time is 4kb. but itunes you got to do it the dumb way and make the movie one contionous file. 2 gigs long any error anywhere and have to start all over!!
i am going to try again! but itunes you need to fix this or i never comming back and going to think you guys are piles of steaming you know what. not evryone has the fastest computer or a t-3 connection.

ha, well so your saying itunes only supports, connections greater than 5mbps? boy they really should have told me sooner, i did not see it anywhere
hm, they seem to say hd movies will work properly with a 1Mbps connection, however it is not working for me. so they need to fix it, but i guess your right.
because my isp has limits that itunes does not support, and because itunes will not work i will move on to turrents, i tried to buy the music and movies. and give itunes my business but nope itunes not going to work. and so i guess like my friend said. big companies care about profits. a small guy like me will not give itunes much financial benefit. so no one really going to care if i stop using itunes.
i learned my lesson, shareware and freeware and opensource only, those software packages work much better than people who write programs for money.

Droid X won't download auto updates for apps from Marketplace

I'm having problems with my Droid x auto downloading app update from marketplace. When I try to update an app that is supposed to auto update, my Droid X says "starting download" then goes no farther, even if I let it sit for hours.
On those apps that require a manual update, I have no problems. They download just fine when I tell them to.
Is there anyway to set all my apps to manual update, or does anyone have any idea why the auto downloads won't work?

OK, I figured it out. With the auto download hung up, I hit the cancel button, and then it let me do a manual download that worked just fine.

"Downloading the latest applications" message and rotating circle icon on a blue bar close to the top of the page never goes away.

Is this normal, or is the download hung up?

Download error messages

Attempting my latest software updates, the downloads stop before the full file arrives, with messages: "The update can't be installed - networking error has occurred. Timed out (-1001)" or "Error NSURLError Domain - 1005 (-1005)". These messages ended all attempts to download QT 7.3.1. (51.1mb) and Java Release 6 (80.7mb). Repaired permissions, run MacJanitor, run fsck but no effect. What do error messages 1001 and 1005 signify? What's happened and how to fix?

Aha! It's starting to look very much like a fault with Apple's server! I connected my ethernet cable to my iBook and tried to download QT 7.3.1. update for Panther. The connection was made OK and the download began. But when it got to 49.2mb out of the 50.9mb, the download hung. Then strangely, the connection speed indicated on the download form started to go backwards, and the time to completion increased from 11 secs to 12, 13,14,16, when I stopped it. This was exactly what was happening with the Quicksilver when connecting through Software Update - as though the speed was being sucked out of the line! Has anyone else encountered this problem - if it's not Apple, it could only be a fault in my broadband modem - but all my other internet connections work perfectly. Answers please?

IBook store download error messages

Every time I launch iBooks I receive a pop up alert which states that "George RR Martin's 4 book series cannot be downloaded at this time". In spite of the fact that I am not trying to purchase George RR Martin's 4 book series. Any ideas? Thanks!

Illustrator download 174% complete... and counting.

I'm trying to download Illustrator & InDesign from CC. Illustrator has been downloading now, for over two hours, has a full 'download bar' and is apparently 174% downloaded - InDesign has yet to start.
Is this working correctly or has the download hung?

Thanks, I cancelled it when it got to 201%.
I've restarted the download with InDesign and will see if that works any differently. I've not had any warnings or boxes appear from our security systems, but will investigate this further should this download fail.
