Download icon on purchases list-OS X Mountain Lion?
Bought and installed OS X Mountain Lion on 08/25/13. All the apps on my Purchases List show Light "Installed", except for OS X Mountain Lion which shows darkened "Download". I redownloaded and and reinstalled the app today, Sunday 10/06/13. Everything went well, just like the first time. But my Purchases List still shows that the app requires "Download". The Download Page is of course empty. What to do. Help appreciated.
Ignore it. Mine shows the same thing. I think that is in case you want to download it for other purposes. If it bugs you:

Why do I get this messge when I try to download Mtn Lion? "We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer." I am currently running Lion and have updated all Apps and Software. I have version 10.7.5.
Hi Mtn Mama,
Sounds like your Mac may not be compatible with OSX Mountain Lion. Here is a link with the list of compatible Macs:

'm trying to download mountain lion, I've got an icon in the dock saying "OSX Mountain Lion waiting..." What is it waiting for? I can't seem to find any context menu or information.
I got it to download by going to the App Store, Purchases, and download.
This was after a false start thanks to Apple Help (total misnomer) which sent me to iTunes.
It is an amazingly slow download, so pack a lunch.
Thanks everyone. -
Ap store says "we could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer". I'm running 10.6.8 duel core intel with 15gb of memory. Any ideas on why I can't download?
Thanks. If the OP has this much RAM in their iMac, certain this Mac can run Mountain Lion.
The reason it might not be installing is that 15 GBs of RAM.
Your iMac should have (4) equal sized, 4 GB sticks of RAM for a total of 16 GBs.l
If your iMac is only reporting that there is only 15 GBs of RAM, you have a RAM stick that is either not seated in its slot properly or is defective/going bad.
This maybe the reason that it won't download it.
Also could be you are running out of free space on your HD.
You need, at least 15-20 % or greater free space left on your HD. -
I have purchases the OS X Mountain Lion on Apr 7 and it keep telling me to download I have gone though this 5 time. That i'm i doing wrong. it say it is installed But when i go to back to where my apps are it say to download and that is the only one that as it on there..Can you help..
The Mt Lion installer deletes itself from your Apps folder when it has finished the installation. It is available to download again should you ever need it, such as to install on one of your other qualifying Macs. You don't have to continue to download it and install, it's installed.
Is there something else going on? -

<Edited by Host>If you registered your computer after June 11th, you were entitled to a free upgrade to Mountain Lion. See http://www.apple.com/osx/uptodate/.
If you went ahead an purchased ML before recieving your redemption code then you're just out $20. Not a big deal - you should have been instructed on how to get a redemption code for the OS X update.

i have just purchased this os x mountain lion from my app store and it will not finish loading
If you mean the DL appears to be stalled give it about half an hour, if there's no movement restart and the DL should pick up from where it left off.
