How to download and install certificate from wifi or wireless ap

Hi gangski,
In order to download a certificate the server either would have to issue you one when one is required, or you can create a self signed certificate.
In order to install a certificate, there are a few ways to manage them.
# Please open up the Firefox Options/Preferences
# and select the "Advanced" section
# and select "Certificates"
# Click "View Certificates"
# Click Import... and select the certificate
Other ways to manage certificates is to use tools:

the Copy works fine but for some reason installation doesnt complete. I am having issues even with GUI mode.
Please let me know what is should do.

What I mean is that you can't take another customers certificate and load it onto another customers WLC. The certificate is assigned to a FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) whcih will be a DNS entry for the customer who it was registered to, so you can't and shouldn't use it for any other client. You need to generate one certificate per client.

Error installing certificate - help

I am trying to install a webauth certificate on a WLC (5508 6.0.188).
I followed the "Generate CSR for Third-Party Certificates and Download Unchained Certificates to the WLC" document.
But when I try to upload the .pem file i get "the" "error installing certificate" promt.
I did not have any errors using OpenSSL.
Is there any debug commands that can help clearify the issue.

I was having the same problem and worked on it for probably 8 hours trying numerous different solutions and this is what fixed it for me.
The OpenSSL versions available from www.openssl.org do not create a final.pem that work with the WLC.
I downloaded OpenSSL using this link http://www.ingate.com/files/Win32OpenSSL-0.9.6-1.0.zip and installed into C:\OpenSSL (It tries to install to program files, install location doesn't matter I just like it on the root of C)
I then followed all of the steps outline on Cisco.com http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk722/tk809/technologies_configuration_example09186a00806e367a.shtml
Uploaded the final.pem file and it install without any problems.
My Cert was purchased from RapidSSL I don't know if that matters or not.
This was a renewal cert, so it was my second time install a cert to my WLC and I made the mistake of not keeping my original copy of OpenSSL that worked for me the first time. Don't make the mistake I made and KEEP a copy of the OpenSSL version that works for you. That will make cert renewal much easier for you.

Installing Certificates in NWA

Hi All,
We have a webservice scenario where in we use HTTPS to send the data to the supplier.We have downloaded their certificates from their https url(say https://abcd.com).While exporting the certificates from their URL,it gave us a list of options to export as PEM,DER,PKCS#7 etc.
It would really be helpful if anyone could point me to some guide which talks on how to install these exported certificates in NWA so that I can view it in my receiver SOAP channel.

Cannot install certificate, Cannot install certificate

Hello
I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro with Mac OSX 10.8.1 ML.
My problem is about installing custom certificates.
I was trying to install custom certificates (the type where you download and double click to install) and nothing responded. I tried another certificate and that worked, but only this one refused to work.
Can anyone help?

Safari ignores installed certificates?

I'm a support technician working at AO Foundation in Switzerland, a non-profit organization researching bone fracture healing methods. Recently, we opened a surgery reference area of our website which requires the user to download and install security certificates for access. I've been having trouble with security certificates under Safari, having gone thru the following these steps:
1) goto www.aofoundation.org/subscribe/
2) Complete the subscription process
3) Using the username & password received in the emails, go to www.aofoundation.org/downloadcenter and download a security certificate
4) Install downloaded certificate to the keychain by double-clicking it.
5) goto www.aofoundation.org/surgery/ and click the blue "Enter AO Surgery" button
6) Because you've already installed the certificate, click the blue "Go!" button
Theoretically, that's all that's needed to make the certificate work, right?
Under Firefox, I have to import it to FFox's own, internal certificate store, and then I can enter the surgery reference without any problems. But I seem to be missing something in Safari? Why does Safari ignore the installed certificates?
Keychain mentions the certificate is from an untrusted source, and yet even setting it to "Always trust", Safari still ignores it. Or rather, it doesn't even let me select any security certificate, I just get rerouted to the "You have no certificate installed" web page.
Help?

Problem still exist as of today...I updated my Safari 5.1 on Friday (7/22/11) and I'm also having this problem with no help on fixing it....

Installing certificate on E61

I'm trying to install a certificate for our company website onto an E61 . However if I try to run this *.cer file I get the error message that this file format is unknown. Anyone have any suggestions?

The corporate certificate server that exchange uses (maybe even the exchange server) can export the certificate in the correct .cer format.
To export the format, go to:
http://certificateserveraddress/certsrv/
Where certificateserveraddress is the web or intranet address of your certificate server.
Ensure that you highlight the correct certificate (typically owa.corporatedomainname.com), chose DER Encoding method with the bullet point. Next click the "Download CA Certificate".
Once you have saved this file (called certnew.cer by default) to your PC, upload it to your E61 using the PC Suite. You may then go to the file manager (Menu Button|Office|File Mgr.) and locate the file in the phone memory. Open the file and it will ask you if you want to save it. Save it and select it for Internet. You may need to go to Tools|Settings|Security|Certif. management, select your cert, then choose options|trust to ensure
it is enabled 'Yes' for Internet. I did find even though I trusted the cert for internet, I still had to set this directly.

After downloading & installing application of adobe creative suite cs2 version 6, screen of adobe photoshop cs2 is not opened by clicking icon . message is giving " ausba4.dll " was not present. Please guide me.?

I have downloaded & installed adobe creative suit cs2 version 6 but when I click the icon of adobe photoshop in desktop it is not opened & giving message " this application has failed to start because " ausba4.dll " was not found. reinstalling of the application may fix the problem " I have reinstall & opened many times but even then it is not opened. I'd try disabling the Twain_32.8BA plugin in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Import-Export
You can disable the plugin by putting an ~ (tilde) in front of the name or moving the plugin to your desktop.
Then try photoshop cs2 and see if you still get the error message.
I suspect the error has to do with your scanner driver, since photoshop cs2 does not have an ausba4.dll

I updated to Yosemite on my Mac. Firefox then began to freeze. I uninstalled Firefox and then downloaded/installed it again. How do I recover bookmarks, etc?

How do I recover bookmarks, passwords, etc? I don't believe I previously had a username & password for Mozilla. I do have my Mac backed up in Time machine and also a Carbon Copy Clone.
Also, I was able to migrate setting from Safari. Perhaps I don't want some of that stuff? Looking at the list of installed plugins, I have no clue if they're standard Apple/Mozilla stuff, or if they were selected by me/my family earlier in Safari? Are any of them a threat to my online security?
Any detailed instruction would be most appreciated. I'm not much of a tech guy.

So the question is am I doing something wrong? Should I just try and install windows 8 through my windows 7 partition and see if I can use the bootcamp 5.05033. Or do I solely have to use the bootcamp to install Windows 8? I'm not too familiar with bootcamp and how it runs.

if you're using parallels and full bootcamp then you're making it 100% more troublesome for youself then it needs to be
bootcamp is running windows directly on the hardware this give full memory and cpu and 3d video game power
running windows in parallels is running a virtual machine where one can't run powerful games and the like but one can have it in a window and change fast between osx and windows
parallels as the only virutal machine (as far as I know) support not have the operating system as a file on the osx harddisk but can access a bootcamp parition as virtual machine but without the benefits bootcamps provides
it's a service parallels provide for those who want both to play games in normal bootcamp and sometimes use windows in a virutal machine
just install it like a normal virtual machine and you need not worry about bootcamp drivers and the likes
plus it would mean that the windows part would be a part of the timemachine bacup of osx
which it is not when it's in bootcamp

Download/install error in CC App

Hello,
Whenever I try to download & install an app from the CC App installed on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop, I get this undefined download error (image attached). The only way to fix this is to re-install the CC app then go and try again, which then it works. However, this is obviously not feasible nor is this something I should have to do every time I want to install an app from CC. Has anyone here received this error before, and if so, how to fix it?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Hi Anne,
Your version of Safari is still supported. Please see Adobe Flash Player | Tech specs for supported OS and browsers.
If the Flash Player plugin is in the Plug-ins (disabled) folder it's because it's an older version that Apple has disabled in Safari. This has nothing to do with whether or not Flash Player supports the browser.
I'm not sure what you mean by "when i click on flash player itself i am told there is no application to open it." Flash Player.plugin only works in the browser to view Flash content in the browser. The plugin does not open files outside of the browser. If you have SWF files you'd like to view outside of the browser, then you'll need the Flash Player projector. However, based on your previous comments this doesn't appear to be what you are trying to do.
Google Chrome does embed Flash Player in it, while Firefox does not. Mozilla has also recently started blocking older versions of Flash Player in Firefox similar to what Apple is doing in Safari.
Following the 'clean install' instructions should result in you having the latest version of Flash Player installed that will not be blocked by the browser.

Adobe has stopped supporting IB in PSE11 and is moving towards cloud sharing via Adobe Revel. In view of this I wouldn’t worry too much about installing or updating.
All of the tutorials can now be found on Adobe TV.
