Download interruption

After download interruption, to start `mac os x lion download` again a charge of 29,99$ has issued to my credit card but i've bought mac on July 19 and i was downloading mas os x lion software free of charge before interuption. can i get a refund?

You need a code from:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/
If you don't have that code then you are buying a new copy of Lion.
When you log in to MAS on the front page there is a section for Quick Links - use the Support option which will open in a browser window then choose Account and billing to get help directly from Apple (we're just users like yourself in here).

    Hello,
Welcome to the HP Forums! I hope you enjoy your experience!
I understand the computer is unable to download the printer software. I will do my best to assist you! It seems like the computer is unable to complete the download. First, I would try downloading the software on a different browser (Google Chrome or Firefox are examples). If that doesn't work, download it on another computer and transfer it with a USB stick. I downloaded it myself to verify it wasn't an issue with the driver online.
To ultimately address, I would refresh the operating system, which would return it to Windows 8. Once you do that, you can reinstall 8.1. For more information on how to do this, please look at this Microsoft website: How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC
I believe this information will be of great assistance to you. Please let me know your results. Thank you for choosing the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Download Interruption Upon Installing from Flashkey

I'm trying to download firefox to a USB drive and put it onto another machine that does not have internet access. The problem: I keep getting the "download interrupted" error and from the looks of things, it's not even beginning to download. The installer will open and appears to be preparing to download, but never actually starts downloading. It idles for a few minutes on the initial screen from running the Setup application and finally prompts that the download was interrupted. Any suggestions?

    Works like a charm.
Not sure what the difference was, but for anyone in the future who is trying to accomplish the same, I was originally using the following link: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and when I copied the download to my flash drive, the file was called "FireFox Setup Stub 29.0.2" as opposed to downloading it from the link the-edmeister posted and it reading "FireFox Setup 29.0.2". I'm not sure what the "Stub" indicates, but I'm assuming that was the problem. Anyway, thanks for the help.

  • HT202159 mountain lion download interrupted and resume button not working

mountain lion download interrupted and resume button not working

From the App Store menu bar top of your screen, click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.
You may need to temporarily disable anti virus software to download apps from the App Store including Mountain Lion.
Make sure your Mac qualifies to run Mountain Lion >  Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • Itunessetup.exe download interrupted

Have been using Itunes 10 quite happily but a couple of weeks ago the programme refused to launch so I uninstalled and attempted to re-download.
Despite using two different browsers Explorer 8 and Google Chrome the set up programme appears to download to the point that the file size states 66.1MB out of 66.1MB downloaded but after this it states "interrupted" and will not launch.
I have deleted all the itunes related folders mentioned on other threads which cause problems re-installing but as I can't even download the installer I don't think this is to do with my problem.
I have downloaded 4 or 5 times over the last two weeks and the problem recurs.
I use Windows Vista.   Anyone out there experienced this problem ?
    Thanks
    Robert

there have also been some other unrelated downloads that have stalled.
what were the other downloads? (wondering here if that could give us a heads up on the itunes issue.)

  • HT1725 App download interrupted by screen lock?

is there a way to download and app without the screen locking and interrupting it except turning off the screen lock?

Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option find it ? If not then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries), see if you can redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes (if you have the incomplete track listed in your library then you will need to delete that first, otherwise you won't get the cloud symbol in Purchased for redownloading).
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • HT202159 My update download was interrupted before midway but appstore says its up to date so no resume button appears or notification of download interruption. How do i restart this? Both apps queued for update are tagged as updated when neither finished

    Hello tjantonioiiimobile
I would delete the app then download the app again. The article below will give some further troubleshooting steps.

  • Lion download interrupted, resumed; OS installation will work?

When Lion comes thru the internet, and there is a disruption in the connection,
can I count on the resumption of the data flow to give me perfect software for the
installation?  My delay was a couple of hours. It's hard for me to believe it's
100% in tact, but I dont have enough time to start another download.
    thanks

Visualize the download like reading a very big book. Now imagine keeping a tally of what page you're in and how much of the current page you've read. At the end of each page, you make sure to memorize the entire page, update the tally, and jump to the next one. Should you fail to memorize the page or get interrupted halfway, you only need to redo that last page, all the rest are already safe and sound. At the end of the book, just to be on the safe side you recheck that all pages were safely memorized and thus the entire read is ok.
Now turn that idea into computer code and that's how the downloader works. Only thing needed is to tweak the size of the "pages" to make sure you don't have to redo too much when one gets damaged (pages too big) but without adding too much additional administrative work for making this work ok (pages too little).

  • Application download interrupted

Hello all. I've had my bb for about 2 weeks. I was downloading an app that I just purchased when the download got interrupted.  The phone got turned off.  Then when the phone was turned back on, no download!  I went to the app store again to try to re-start the download but it wants me to purchase the app again.  I have a confirmation email from RIM for the payment.  And the support pages say to contact tech support.  Anyone know how to do that?  Better yet, anyone know how to get my download again?  Its not listed in my App World.  I checked.  Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kim

You should almost immediately have received an automated email reply with a ticket number and other follow up instructions. If you did not receive that email, then I would assume that your ticket did not get properly submitted. I suggest trying again.

  • Software download interrupted

Hello Experts, I just got interrupted in the process of upgrading to iOS 8.0.2. In a total of 1.66GB download the process got interrupted at 1.4GB and when resuming the process starts from 0 again. Is there any way wherein I can resume this download? It is really frustrating to restart the process which involved huge time and cost as well. Can anyone truly help...

    Hello Gail,
I did the download through itunes only, but the process got interrupted since the internet connection was reset. Usually in any other downloads if something of this sort happens, the process continues from where it stopped when restarted. But this does not happen with itunes. This is really cumbersome to loose such a high amount of data going waste. Multiple times I am facing this problem. Off-course the internet connection is an issue since it resets in between. But the download should keep a cache. It is not something new...
Is there any way to recover the partial download.
    Regards,
    PT

  • Download interrupted during pdf viewing

Specs of my machine that can reproduce the issue:
    - Windows 7 Pro x64 - All updates applied
    - Acrobat reader 11.0.10
    - Using Internet Explorer 11 (11.0.9600.17633)
There are two specific PDF files on our website (www.sigmaproducts.com) that cannot be downloaded by any of our customers using Adobe Reader. During loading of the file (you can the see the download progress inside the Adobe Reader), it stalls fairly early in the loading stages. Adobe Reader appears to remain in that state afterward requiring the task manager to end the IE session. All but 2 of the PDF files located in SIGMA Corporation - Product Downloads can be downloaded without trouble. The 2 PDFs that cause issues:
    http://www.sigmaproducts.com/catalogs/valance/Sigma%20Valance%20Systems.pdf
    http://www.sigmaproducts.com/catalogs/panel_radiator/Sigma%20Radiator%20Konvector%20Catalo gue_web.pdf
If you right click the links and save target as and then open the files with the viewer, it works so it confirms the PDFs are in working order
If we try to use other PDF viewers in the browser, it also works. Chrome also works since it uses it's built-in PDF viewer
The two files in question were by Adobe products (InDesign if I recall).
I would like to think this is an isolated issue but we had hundreds of complaints from customers unable to download our catalogues.

Considering how re-producible this issue is, there must be a fix that can be applied. IE will download the file if you "save as" so why is the streaming from IE to Adobe with these specific files generated by In-design cause issues? Should this be submitted as an issue to Adobe?  If so, where is this done?
We've tried re-saving the files and pushing them again but the issue remains.

  • Download interrupted, memory consumed but photos unavailable

I had 4 GB of available memory on my iMac running OS X v10.7.4.  My camera had 3 GB of photos/videos so I downloaded my camera.  When the download was complete I had 0 memory left on my computer but the download appeared complete so I foolishly deleted the photos from my camera.  When I went into iPhoto to find my downloaded photos/videos, they were not there.  I could not find the photos or videos anywhere in iPhoto.  I am using iPhoto 09  v8.1.2.
The 4 GB of available space however was reduced to just 1GB of available space so I had lost 3 GB of memory (presumably from the 3 GB that was imported from the camera).  My question is this - since I can't find the photos/videos in iphoto where are they?  I assume they are somewhere on my computer since my available memory was reduced by the size of the download.  I looked in the recovered iPhoto files and could not find them there.  I am a novice/intermediate user and have looked everywhere for the 3GB of photos/videos but can't find them.
Does anyone have any suggestions or insight where they may be hidden or sequestered?
As a side note, I was able to recover the deleted photos from the SD card but the videos that I recovered were not usuable - just glitches of sound with no picture so I hope I can find the orginals with intact videos.
    Any input would be appreciated!!

Thank you for the info - I had no idea I was puing myself in danger by cutting it so close.  Since your post I have moved my iphoto library to an external drive and now have 165 GB of space on my HD.  Following this I have 2 questions.
    1.  Since my available HD space was reduced by the size of the photo download it seems logical that the download is somewhere on my HD still.  Is there a place where these photos might be hiding on my HD even though they are not available on the iphoto library?
    2.  I was able to recover the .jpg files which are fine.  I also recovered the .mov files but they have been compromised.  I am hoping I can find the originals still on the HD somewhere.  If not, do you have any suggestions for recovery methods or programs?  I have not used the SD card since the incident so I should be able to attempt another recovery to salvage the .mov files if there is an alternative method/program available.
    Thanks again!

  • HT1725 Download interrupted and wont resume

I tried to rent a movie and it didnt download completely, and now wont play. I have tried to resume the download and it wont resume. Is there anyway to delete it completely and restart the download from the begining?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this atwww.speedtest.net.
1080p HD movies require a recommended speed of 8 Mbps, 720p HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.
