Download ios 5.0.1 upgrade and now ipad2 wont connect to itunes
I downloaded the upgrade. iTunes said it was backing up my ipad-2. Some error happened and now all my iPad shows is the start-up screen telling me to hook the usb up to iTunes. iTunes doesnt recognize the iPad though. Tried the normal cycling of the iPad and restarting the computer in different ways but to no avail. I leave on a trip in 15 hours and really need my iPad. Any ideas?
Not sure what I did but it finaly recognized the ipad and it is restoring now.....

The servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download iOS7 at the same time.
There is a chance activation servers might be down/slow for now. Just keep trying throughout the day. -

Try the following to get iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod via iTunes:
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Place the iPod in recovery mode. For how see:

Howver, droppong the iPod may have caused hardware damage. -
I haven't been able to update my phone to the latest version of iOS because i dont have enough room on my phone and i cant erase the pics from my photostream except for on itunes and its driving me crazy

What happens when you go to the web based mail for your email account?
Are you able to login and send / receive messages from the web?
If so, you might need to check outgoing email settings on your iPhone
Settings > Mail, Contacts Calendars
Tap on the account you are having an issue with
Tap on the email address beside the word Account
Tap on info beside SMTP (SMTP = outgoing mail server)
Tap on the SMTP server name again.
Make sure server is turned on
Check settings & port info, password, etc.

I have 2nd generation apple tv, and this has always worked well with Lion, have now upgraded to Mountain Lion, and now can not connect to itunes, all other things work, can buy or rent films, but can not listen to my music or show photos. Can anybody help please?

Ive just updated my version of itunes and now it wont load the itunes store? Anyone know why? Worried about losing my library if i start trying to download again.

hi there, i installed a system update earlier on my MacBookPro and now it wont connect to wi-fi, working through Network Diagnostics hasn't solved the issue. all other devices here are connecting normally. any ideas?

If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

Im having massive issues with my email... I cant receive emails for my work email... was working perfectly and now just wont connect, i assume that I need to use my home wifi as the outgoing server?? Please help
For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.

25 apps on my wife's phone need updating and now it "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" only when i try to update them for her. I can access the iTunes store for all other options but not to update. How can I get her updated?
Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost. -
It is a 64 GB Iphone 5s and I am running Windows 7 x64 on all of my pcs.
I just got an iphone 5s and now it wont connect to any of my windows 7 PCs, it just gets detected as an unknown device and is unable to be detected correctly. It was connected to one windows 7 pc about a week ago and worked but now I tested it on 4 other computers including a macbook running osx and it isnt detected. Someone put my iphone passcode in wrong to many times and now it says connect to itunes there is some stuff on my iphone which i havent backed up and i will loose if i restore my iphone what do i do?
If the phone is disabled, you have no choice but to restore it. You will lose the data that was not backed up.
the passcode did its job exactly as it was supposed to do. -
Downloaded iOS for my iphone 4s and now my group contact lists won't come up.
I downloaded new software upgrade and now my group contact list won't come up when I click on "group".
I checked settings and I don't see any issues there. Any suggestions?

JI think I may have fixed this problem - I am on the giffgaff network, and updating my iOS meant that my network settings were reset to O2.
To fix this, I went to Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data Network, and then re-entered giffgaff's mobile data settings.
