Download iPad App magazine

Hello,
I have a very general question before I start to do my very first App magazine for the iPad with the Adobe DPS Single Edition: When the customer downloads my iPad app, does he download the full app magazine at once and can then read the magazine also when having no internet connection? Or is every page or article downloaded seperately when wristing through the app magazine (for this the customer needs constant internet access)?

if you have some external links (youtube, webpages, facebook, etc...) this link will be not available without internet connection. If you have no external links then you don’t need any internet connection to browse app’s contents.

You can download programs and store it on the Mac to sync the apps with your device, but you can't run those apps on the computer

University...how to allow certain K-12 teachers to download ipad app

I work a university in South Carolina and am creating an IPAD app that I want to make available only to certain K-12 teachers. The app will be free to these teachers and I really don't want to give downloading access to just anybody via the AppStore.
Are there any FREE solutions to allow these select teachers to download this IPAD app?

Not from the Apple App Store. If they can get it, I can get it. I don't know if there are other ways to load apps.

ITunes Stuck Download iPad App

For some reason I don't understand, my iTunes is stuck downloading TWO copies of the same app (ESPN iScore baseball). the 15.7MB download always goes to 9.2MB then resets over and over again. And there are two of them, I've tried deleting them from the iPad, from my computer, from iTunes but every time I launch the program iTunes Download shows:
2 iTunes Downloads Available
and tries to redownload the duplicate files.
This is crazy! I can't update them directly on the device, it tells me to plug into iTunes.
Help! How can I get back to just downloading the ONE update.

Thank you, that seemed to finally work.
I did as you suggested, quitting iTunes. My iTurnes library is not on my main hard drive because of its size, (it's on a separate drive), so I to delete the file, I made two deletions. First I went to:
iTunes All:iTunes Music:Downloads
and deleted the list.plist file there
Then I went to:
iTunes All:Mobile Applications
And I deleted the iScore.ipa
Finally, I relaunched iTurnes and went to the iTunes store, and "repurchased" the application, which told me I'd already bought it and it re-downloaded the program AND it's update without a problem.

Downloading iPad apps into Mac computer?

I downloaded some free and not free apps into my iPad. I have since sold my iPad. I still have 13 apps listed in my iTunes library. Is there a way to download these into my computer? I do not have an iPhone or any other portable device except AppleTV 2.

If you mean can you open them on a computer then the answer is no, iOS apps will only work on iOS devices. You can however store iOS apps in iTunes so that if you buy an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch in the future you will be able to sync them to your device again.
All apps, whether paid or free, can be downloaded again free of charge whenever you wish.

Lock download ipad apps

Hey Everyone,
So i've looked through tons of forums and downloaded even more apps that people have suggested to solve this problem, but with no solution.
I've just got myself a new ipad 4th gen and I want it to be a sort of communal item for the house. However, I have set up all the usual features like facebook, twitter connectivity etc, and would like to keep people off those apps and features.
I know 'restrictions' exists but this does not solve my problem unfortunately.
I wish to passcode individual downloaded apps... is there a way / an app that does this?

There is no way to password lock Apps on the iPad you can use restrictions to not load apps of a certain age group, but being a single user deivce there's no way to limit the usage of specific apps by password.
The iPad was just not deigned to have that support as it was intended for a single user.
For facebok and other apps like that I would simply Log off the user eveyr time, so thaqt Facebook starts at the login page each time.
Other than that there's not much that can be dne.

If you have transferred or Downloaded iPad Apps on your Mac you will find them in iTunes on your Mac....
Open iTunes and in iTunes on left hand corner where Music is return you should see a drop down button next to it and once you click on that drop down button you will see Movies/Tv Shows/Applications, you need to select Applications here and you will find all your downloaded iPad Applications. And as they are made only for iOs devices that cannot be run on your Mac.

How to avoid iPad apps to sync onto my iPhone?

I just bought an iPad and am wondering, if I use the same account will it sync iPad apps that I will buy for it onto my iPhone via iCloud? At the momet we're running a macbook and 2 iPhones (nmine and my partner's) on the same account and apps one of us urchases sync automatically onto the other phone using iCloud. If I now use the same account to download iPad apps, that won't run on the iPhones, will iCloud still put them on the phones? Trying to avoid polluting our phones with apps that can't run on them.... can you advise?

They will only install on the iPhone if you have automatic downloads turned 'on' for apps on the phone (Settings > Store) - and even if you have it turned 'on' only those apps which are compatible will be installed (so if they are iPad only apps or if you don't have the relevant iOS version on the iPhone they won't be installed).
You may also want to turn off automatic syncing for apps when connected to your computer's iTunes (there should be a tick box on the device's Apps tab when connected to it).

You will not be able to see what version you are running until the iPad is activated. It will be in Settings>General>About >Version when you can get to the settings app.
The slider bar that you are describing sounds like the screen lock side switch and that has no bearing on setting up the iPad or connecting to WiFi.
Why don't you try rebooting your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again and see if the iPad will recognize and join the network.

No, You can only view them on a computer if there is a computer app for that magazine.

From your post it appears that you are using an earlier iPad, which can only update to iOS 5. Some developers do offer compatible versions of their apps for people running older iOS versions, but ultimately it is up to that developer to make an older version. Check out the article for more information about installing the latest compatible version of an app on your iPad.

My name is Norbert. I am having some difficulties restoring my icloud back up. My ipad was doing an icloud back up and the alert message displayed on the ipad after my internet was interrupted "A wi-fi connection is required to download your apps and media".
I got the internet working, my ipad is receiving internet network but the alert message is still displayed on the ipad and won't go away, to make matters worse the ipad is frozen and i can't do anything.
Please can anyone with a similar experience tell me what to do in this situation?

Have you tried a hard restart. Press the on/off button and homescreen buttons together until the device shuts down.

IPad App Store not downloading updated apps

I have an iPad 3 64GB that has been updated to iOS 8. In the last two days, the App Store will not download updated apps. It shows them with a red number, but when I click on Update, I get the circle with a square in the middle but then nothing proceeds. If I go to the individual app, it says "waiting…" but if I click it, it does not change to "paused" as it used to when waiting was shown.
My iPhone 5S is not having a problem, nor is iTunes on my computer.
Sometimes, if I sync the iPad with iTunes, the updated apps will copy over to the iPad, but not every time.
I have done a forced restart on the iPad and have also done a Reset All Settings under the General setting.
It appears that something has gone wrong with the App Store app. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to fix this short of restoring the iPad to new status and reinstalling everything?

Try deleting the apps with the issue from iTunes, and then download and update them again.
