Download is stuck!

I have an IPad and tried to download Eric Bryant (controlling contro). It is stuck on ITunes. How do I delete it please?

I don't know what this is - movie, podcast ?
Try tapping and holding down on the icon (if there is one) and see of the X to delete pops up - or swipe across the blue progress bar and see if the red delete button pops up.

I'm resending this question. I'm trying to install the CC desktop on my Ibook in order to download Photoshop and Lightroom, but the downloader gets stuck at about 10% completion and I cannot figure out how to complete the download. Thanks for any help.

I am trying to download Mountain Lion for almost 3 days now and the download gets stuck at 53.25mb. Apple support staff is giving me same block answer that it's because of heavy traffic and I don't buy that. Does anyone know how I can download it ?

I have been trying to download my copy of Mountain Lion for last 3 days and the download is stuck at 53.25mb. I tried all of the restart/ Cookies deletion that apple support staff recommended to no avail. Download starts from begining and once it's 53.25mb downloaded, the remaining time goes upto and beyond 650 days and counting.
Is there any guru, who can help me download Mountain Lion this year? Preferably in a days time !

Doesn't strike me as a "high traffic" issue, if you pause the download can you open the /Applications/ folder on your Mac and see if the installer already present? If you can stop the download and delete the installer (because it is not finished), the try again?
If you've already done the above have you tried using Disk Utility First Aid from your Recovery HD?
Try to verify/repair the disk and see if that takes care of it. (Of course make sure you have a good, recent backup before trying this.)
If you're still having issues: re-install OS X from the Recovery HD, install all available software updates, try again.

Download got stuck halfway

I purchased the movie 'Six Days, Seven Nights'. The download got stuck at 591.1 Mb. I have purchased a song since then that downloaded with no problem. I have iTunes on line in the last 12 hours and I keep it connected untill this movie file is downloaded.
I tried to delete the item and repurchase it. I tried to restart the download, I tried with restarting my computer.
Clearly my iTunes 7 believes that the file will download eventually while in fact it is not coming from the server.

Just checking - when you say you tried to restart the download did you use iTunes > Store > Check for purchases...
I used this today and found tracks that I didn't even realise I hadn't downloaded so the option does work.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Force a restart, if the problem persists:
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Film download is stuck

I have tried to download a film and the download is stuck, it keeps going back to the 890k download and restarting. I cannot delete the download or try to download another version. Any ideas?

My app downloads are stuck waiting. There is no 'downloads' tab in iTunes. Very aggravating. I sign into iTunes. No download tab. I sign not App Store. No download tab. 2 apps stuck on 'waiting'. Have reset iPad2 - no progress.

Also, I'm unable to delete the 2 apps. So they just sit there taking up space.
I'd like to at least be able to start the downloads or delete the apps. I can't do either.

Mountain Lion download getting stuck at 79MB w/ no internet connectivity issues

I just purchased Mountain Lion via the App Store but everytime I try to download it, the download gets stuck around 79.4MB and the download time just gets longer and longer without the download actually pausing. Pausing and resuming have the same problem, the file size just goes up to 80+MB before dropping back down to 79.4MB again. I have tried canceling, reopening the App store and re-downloading several times already without success. Please help! I went through Mountain Lion download problems in the forum but I can't find a solution. I'm downloading onto an iMac on a broadband Wifi personal home network and can surf the internet without problems and as quickly as usual. For reference, my connectivity speed at this time is usually enough to download a 300MB file in 15 mins to half an hour.

Tried to try Photoshop CC.. the download got stuck. So pushed the cancel button.. now it says cancelling all the time. Tried reinstalling and but the damn message is still there.. On top of that. I can't sign out!

My iPhoto download is stuck. To the right, there is a greyed-out "Pause" button, and to the left of that, the word "Waiting".
I tried putting the iPhoto download into the Trash (from the Applications folder) but it won't stay in the trash - just keeps popping back into the folder.

Go to the LaunchPad and cancel the download - trash the iPjhtoo application and reinstall from the App store

Yes we are. I was able to talk to Adobe Support and they gave me ports and some URL to provide exception in the firewall. It worked and I was able to install it also. Thank you!

How fast is your download speed? If it's less than 10Mbps, it's going to take hours.
