Download J2SE from local server

Here's my situation:
I need to tell webstart to download version 1.5.0_06 from http://somelocalserver/ because the clients using the webstart version will be unable to access java.sun.com due to firewall restrictions.
Can someone point me to the documentation for setting up the server to deliver the jre to the client in the correct format?

That was incredibly NOT helpful.
The documentation (which, I've read many times over) tells ya how to point webstart at a server. That isn't the problem. THe problem I'm having is setting up the server to deliver the JRE.
I found the examples in jdk_home/samples/jnlp, but they seem very outdated and the build scripts don't work properly. I was hoping someone (more helpful than "Mr. RTFM" hopefully) could point me to an updated guide on setting up the SERVER to deliver the JRE.

If you want to restore a reomoved app,you need to use
Add-AppxPackage to add a signed app package (.appx) to a user account.
But we cannot extract them from the ISO.
The behavior is by design.And this is a software protection regime.

right now i get the pdf file on to the desktop but i get error on opening.
gui_download gives error if i use xstring.

Result of this code is : there is a pop up asking to open or save pdf format and process is complete, but i have problem in downloaded file.
At the time of creation i have put BMP image for signature in PDF file and it is working fine but when i upload that file in Application server and then download it with above used code it save the PDF file but when i open that file so whereever i have used signature that page gives error and could not display that scanned signature.
Can anyone please help me in this regard.
or is there any possibility from which i can download that file just like File transfer from BSP.
Keep in mind that i am using BSP technology so all GUI based function module to download file are not working.

Downloading file from application server in Binary mode

I am trying to read an application server file using open dataset in Binary Mode..
While downloading using gui_download method the file is getting truncated because of its size.
My questions are,
       How to increase the size of the internal table dynamically. Already tried using STRING type but it is not accepting.
       If I use the CHAR type with maximum length 65535 and if the length of the file is less than that then in the remaining spaces box like symbols are printed .
How can I achieve it.

Downloading file from application server to presentation server

Hi,
      We have a requirment to download file from application server to presentation server. The problem is while down loading, some of the filds showing some junk values. Instead of that junk values we have some Russian texts there. These Russian texts only coming as junk all other data is correct. The file in the appplication server is in .dbf format. We are downloading using WS_DOWNLOAD. file type is BIN and code page we didn't specified.

u can use to download file from application server to presentation server using the t/c CG3Y. in that it will ask the source file path and the target file path.
if u want to find the source file path in the application server, u can use the transaction AL11 to find that one.

There isn't a transaction.
You can see the example report to execute ftp on BW server.

Error occurred while downloading files from Administration Server...

Hi guys,
If i already have my application deployed and exploded in ../tmp/_WL_user , when I restart the managed server it will try to download again the files from the upload directory in the Administration Servers? (I'm using stage mode).
Sometimes I got the following error:
Caused By: java.io.IOException: [DeploymentService:290066]Error occurred while downloading files from Administration Server for deployment request "0". Underlying error is: "null"
and I already have the war exploded in /tmp/_WL_user
the staging mode is not only for the first deployment? when i don't have the war exploded in /tmp/_WL_user?
I've some confusion related to the process or deployment/startup of the managed servers.

when you get following error * DeploymentService:290066 * then that means
A service on the machine is preventing the WebLogic Server remote instance from downloading the configuration file. This can be Hosts Intrusion Prevention (HIPS) agents or any other agent causing this issue.
Disable the agent interfering with the download process to fix this issue.

Error adding new users from local server

Hello, BPC Gurus,
We use BPC 7.0 MS SP4, MS SQL 2008 (Server name - BPCP01)
In Administration Console we're trying to add user from local server (server with SQL Database), and warning window is appeared with message "The Server Is Not Operational [BPBCP01]"
I checked Logging folder and found message:

The installation was done with a local user or with a domain user?
You know that BPC server can not be in the same time also domain controler.
Are you using Windows authentication or CMS authentication.
If you are using CMS authentication then again you can not add local users.
If you are using Windows authentication then you have to go into server Manager
Options - Define System User Groups
Domain Type - Local Windows
System User Group Name - Local Users.
If you are using Windows 2008 make sure you addrole to have compatibility with IIS 6.because using this module bpc is adding new users.

Anyone having trouble conisistenly downloading email from comcast server with IOS 5?

My Iphone 4 with IOS 5 just started having issues downloading email from comcast server consistently. It is working, but there is SOMETIMES a delay in download and then it works perfectly other times. Sometimes it tries to download the same 200 emails over and over. Anyone have any ideas? I have already deleted and re-added my email account, reset phone and still not working properly. Apple genius bar thinks it is a comcast issue IOS 5.

Please follow the steps provided here to properly configure your iPhone. This is a quide from another user. I you follow this exactly, the Comcast e-mail account will verify properly, and you will be able to send and receive all of your e-mail without having to create a Gmail account, as previously discussed. You can ignore their comment.

Mail 2.1 recently stopped downloading messages from POP server

Hi there,
I am struggling with this one.
My mail has previously been workoing no problems, through a POP server (doctors.net.uk)
Since 26/06/06 it has stopped downloading messages from the server.
I can send mail from Mail no problem and it appears on the server.
The system preferences/network is fine.
The connection Dr tells me that it can access the account no problem.
The SOCKS proxy is not enabled.
I even altered the POP account preferences to delete all messages from the server older than 1 month (previously not enabled) whic it duly did without problem.
When I click get mail, it spins, there is no error message, but no new messages appear.
I have followed this with my POP account service who insist all is fine at their end.
Any ideas?

Try this in case the problem is that Mail is actually downloading the messages but they are being incorrectly processed by the rules:
1. Quit Mail.
2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/.
3. Locate MessageRules.plist and move it to the Desktop. If there is a file called MessageRules.plist.backup, move it to the Desktop too. You may also see MessageSorting.plist files there; this is where Mail 1.x stored the rules, and they are no longer used by Mail 2.0, so just move them to the Trash if you see them.
4. Open Mail. As a result of removing the rules file, the junk filter will be disabled now. You may want to either tell Mail to go offline immediately after opening it, or shut down the Internet connection before opening Mail, to prevent it from downloading anything until the junk mail filter has been enabled again.
5. Go to Mail > Preferences > Junk Mail, enable junk filtering, and configure it however you wish.
6. Go online again if you went offline in step 4.
If the problem persists after doing this, then you know the rules have no bearing on it, and you may move the files on the Desktop back to the ~/Library/Mail/ folder, overwriting any files Mail may have created anew there (quit Mail first).
Note however that, if you want to test this with messages already on the server, you need to also remove the MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded2 file again.

How to upload/download Pictures from W3K Server

I have an Ipad 4 running IOS7, Wi-Fi only and is connected to my Network.
I have a Windows 2003 Server which has a File Server which holds all my pictures and I would like to know if there is some way I can access the server to upload pictures from my Ipad to the server and download pictures from the server to my Ipad.
If this is possible, can you please give me some direction on how to get the Ipad connected to do this?
