JavaFX 2.1 Rocks! JavaFX 2.2b6 download link goes to a broken page

I've been using JavaFX 2.1 since the early betas and I love watching JavaFX improve. Congratulations to the JavaFX team. You've done a great job in getting a solid update out of the door.
Now, for us bleeding edge users ... 2.2b06 is available as an early development build, but the link to download it takes you to a 404 error page.

Download links not working? Have to rightclick everytime...

Hi,
This is weird and has me stumped. If I click a download link for a .zip or .dmg file in Safari or Firefox nothing happens. In order to download files I have to right-click the link and choose 'Download linked file', this works perfectly.
I've tried changing the DNS servers but that didn't fix it. I also completely uninstalled safari and all .plist files and re-installed Safari, this didn't work. My MacBook, which is on the same network works fine.
The issue is with ANY browser, not just Safari.
Any ideas on a fix would be fantastic

Maybe you should boot from your install disc just in case, run Disk Utility to see if there are any errors on the startup disk.
Insert your install disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
*(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)*
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. *Make sure there is always 10% to 15% free disk space*

Broken link to costs_eif.zip in OBE lesson

Hi,
I'm attempting to follow the following OBE lesson on OLAP.

Under prerequisites, there is a requirement to download COSTS_EIF.ZIP, but the link appears to be broken.
Today, I'm getting a 404 Document Not Found error.
Yesterday, I was able to download a file but the ZIP file was corrupted.
Can someone please investigate?

Website image and zip file download links not working in Dreamweaver Air application

Hi
I have successfully created and AIR app for an existing business website using the Dreamweaver AIR Extension. The site works very well in all respects except for the part where we have high resolution images and zip files available for download. The download links refuse to do anything, and right-click (PC) / ctl-click (Mac) does nto work either.
I suspect this may be an AIR sandbox/security issue but am I correct and what can I do to fix it?

Unable to find download link of patch p4505133_10105_WINNT.zip in metalink

I don't work in database. Specially I am working in Oracle ADF and webcenter suite areas. For webcenter suite installation purpose I need to upgrade my oracle 10.1.0.2 database to oracle 10.1.0.5 version. And for that I searched in metalink for p4505133_10105_WINNT.zip , because, my database is in win32 machine. And I have also searched with the patch no. 4505133. But, I am unable to find any download link for that patch no.. Also, the "patches and updates" link is not opening in two machines I have tried. It is giving the error "connection timed out". I have seen same problem one was facing in "doc ID 683549.993", but, that did not solved my problem.
So, may you please give the exact link of that particular patch set or it may be better if you can send it in [email protected] as there are some problem in opening the link from our machines.

Metalink is the only source for patch downloading. If you are facing any issue trying to download it I suggest you to raise a SR.

has it been moved anywhere else?

The first version of CSSCAN was shipped with 8.1.7 of the database on all Oracle RDBMS platforms. Due to customer demands, backports were made available for 8.1.6 (NT and Solaris) and 8.0.6 (Solaris) also.
We decided to make these pre-8.1.7 CSSCAN available for download on OTN as well.
The download links are not broken. There is a policy in place for Oracle employees, they are restricted from downloading between 6am and 6pm US-PST on business days.

Download Links Broken for english Sql Server 2012 Express

Hi,
it seems that the download links for Sql Server 2012 Express Edition is broken for the english version.
None of the links on the microsoft download center works.
I am able to download a german version from:
http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=29062
But changing the language to english results in a "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found."

Well, I actually e-mailed Apple Store support (since that's where I originally ordered the FCP crossgrade). They suggested that I post my question over here.
I don't feel comfortable about making a support call to USA from Finland... they might put me on hold for ages and it would end up costing a lot more than purchasing the component from Apple Store.
I think that the link has been broken for months already, although I'm not sure. Doesn't Apple have any kind of e-mail address to ask about this issue?

I recently renewed my Adobe Software Distribution license, as I saw that the existing download links were going to be retired.
So I received the resulting email for Air, Flash, Reader and Shockwave and all the links are fine, except for the one to download Reader XI.
Is there anywhere I can get support/help on this? Adobe online Support Chat have me going in circles...

Yeah. Getting the software isn't a problem (there a number of ways to download it), but I just want them to take responsability for the broken link in the email, since I'm supposed to use that link to download the software.
After going through four Adobe support people, they've apparently passed it on to the "development" team... I wont be holding my breath on that.
