Download map in PI 7.0

Can we download  a mapping in PI 7.0 to XIM format?

ctrl + shift + 0 is only for 7.1 and gives u a xim format.
For 7.0, you can right click + options to export in .mte format.
In 7.0, is there a way to obtain the map in Excel sheet format? Any tool for that?   For 7.1 we have PI documentor (for XIM files), is there a similar tool for 7.0
Thanks

  • How do I retrieve the icons in the download map of my 2009 iMac with Maverick. They show up in the finder, but not when I open downloads from the dock.

I have a 2009 iMac running on Mavericks. Since a few days, when I open the Download Map from the dock, I only see "empty" icon symbols. When I leave the map open the icons re-appear after some 20 seconds. When I re-open the downloads, the icons are empty again.
How do I get the icons to behave in a normal way again?

bro I just had this issue its as simple as swiping to the right of each album artwork that does not display in the list view (On your Iphone.) Once you swipe to the right on every album that does not display in the list view you will see the delete option come up. Hit delete! Dont be scared. Do this with every album art that does not show up and then resync your Iphone. Go to the list view again and all of your missing album artwork will be displayed in both the list overview and close up landscape mode.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you have Ovi Suite, you dont need map loader. You can even install PC Suite. Its unadvisable to have them both on the PC
Connect your device to your PC and Ovi Suite. Right click on the bottom where it says connect new device. Follow the prompts. Then select View>Go to>Maps. Select the maps and voice you want to download.

  • HI, I would like to use GPS with I Pad for navigation when I am trekking.  I will need to download maps in order to do this.  Can anyone tell me which I Pad is the one to purchase?  Thanks, Dave

    HI,
I would like to use an I Pad for navigating when I am trekking in the UK and in Europe.  I would also like to download local maps.
Does anyone know which I Pad will support GPS Navigation?
    Thanks
    Dave

Wi-Fi only iPads do not have the GPS chip and rely on inaccurate methods to determine location. So a cellular iPad is a must even if you do not set up a cellular data account.
Also downloaded maps take up space on the iPad. So I would suggest that you consider an iPad with storage greater that the base model.

  • N85-downloaded map problem

How do I know how many maps and which locations I have in my device?

If you upload maps the usual advice is connect the handset to Nokias download maps application which is part of PC Suite.
When you run the maps downloader you are asked to select your maps and advised to remove all map data from the handset before the upload, there are clear instructions within the application at the correct time.

  • Nokia E52 - downloading maps direct to the phone

Hello, i would ask if here is chance to download maps directly to the phone without using a PC. (through WiFi).
    I have Ovi Maps appliaction v 3.04 , phone Nokia E52.
    Thanks for answers.

    @sladdy
    Welcome to the forum!
There is nothing to stop you downloading directly the compressed .zip file for smaller region(s) from map servers directly upon your E52, decompressing it and moving the (16) folders 0 - 9 and a - f to their respective positions in E:\Cities\diskcache following the methods outlined by ovikovi here on the forum!
There is unfortunately no "Update" feature within Ovi Maps v3.04 as opposed to v3.06 for this purpose!

  • Can't download maps on N86 8mp after latest firmwa...

I have been unable to download any maps since i installed the latest firmware on my N86 8MP,  I have re-installed the phone, did a hard reset and made sure the maps files were deleted.
when I try to use Nokia maps updater I get errors
"cannot get enough information about the phone[2].
    "Unspecified error [1]"
When I try and use Ovi Suite I get the following
    sometimes
your computer is not connected to the internet
to be able to download maps your device needs to be connected to the internet
    other times
    Maps have been updated
you need to download the updated maps. during the download all existing maps are deleted and new ones will be transferred to your drvice, this make take some time.
I choose the download option and it takes seconds and until it says it is finished and it does not download anything and it just says to do it again.
I have done a hard reset on the phone and a re-install but it has not made a difference.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

First off, are your trying to download maps application 3.03 or the maps themselves for 3.01? Those things are different. It would be easier for us to give the correct answer if you specify.
Assuming you will be using maps 3.01 and want to download the maps for it:
    1. Open Maps once to let it recreate the folder structure required for downloading maps
    2. Restart the phone
    3. Connect it to Maps Loader/Ovi Suite and download the maps.

  • Downloaded Map but not appearing in phone!!

I recently updated my firmware for my N76 device to the latest (30.0xx), and it came with the new version of nokia maps.
I followed all instructions to install the map (Malaysia), but for some reason it does NOT appear on my phone. When I zoom in on the target location (cursor is targeted on Malaysia and I'm zooming in), all I see is BLANK.
I've tried clearing all maps using the map loader and reinstalling the SAME map 3 times, but i still don't see anything! I can't browse the map of my country offline.
The older smart2go used to work for my phone, I could browse maps offline without having to connect a GPS receiver, but now I can't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you set the phone for data transfer not PC Suite at onset. I had to 'eject' the USB device via safely remove icon in system try before unplugging device, I downloaded maps many times only to loose them by just pulling my E90's USB.

  • Where can I download maps of other countries?

    I just bought a Nokia 6260 Slide ( http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/6260_slide )
I bought it in Singapore and it has maps of Singapore and Malaysia installed, however, I will be heading to Hong Kong soon and I need to download a map of Hong Kong so that my phone can help me navigate my way around.
Where can I downloada map of Hong Kong making sure it works and road names are in english as well?
    Cheers

    Hi,
there is a Map Loader for mac available from the maps site.
    http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download-maps/map-loader
I dont know if it will work with Ovi Maps (Maps 3.0) though.
Although i work for Nokia, my opinions are my own!

  • Help On How To Download Maps to N95?

Hi, I've bought a Nokia N95 and am trying to download maps from the website but I'm getting lost.
Can anyone give me advice or a step-by-step guide on what to do?
I have tried looking for help but the problem's still there?
    Many thanks.
    Peter

    Hi peterandpeter
Firstly is version of Nokia Maps installed on your N95 the latest? Do you have three yellow or green symbols next to satellite rather than just satellite icon bottom right of screen?
Insert a microSD memory card into N95 and run Nokia Maps application. Enable an "active connection" either by WLAN or Network (remember to change settings to "never" afterwards if you don't want to incur data charges) and use [*] to zoom down to your position. Now exit application and folder structure required by Maploader application will be created on memory card.
It is now simpler to insert your microSD into card reader on PC when you requested by Maploader and it will allow you to proceed to download maps and/or voices as required.
You can also leave microSD in your N95 but it then needs to be used in "Data transfer" mode as a USB mass storage device not left in default "PC Suite" mode.
    Hope this helps you.

  • IPhoto crashes when downloading maps for Places slideshow

    Hi
I'm trying to make a slideshow of my photos from a recent holiday for which I have created an event inside iPhoto. I am trying to use the Places theme, but whenever it says "Downloading Maps" the bar moves across very slightly, then freezes and I am unable to use iPhoto. After a few minutes iPhoto crashes and I am given a report that will be sent to Apple, and the option to press either 'OK' or 'Reopen'.
Some of the photos were taken in Airplane Mode meaning that they have no GPS data - I am wondering if this is the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks a lot

  • How do I download maps to N900

Can someone tell me how to download maps to the N900. Please don't tell me the only way to use maps is over a wifi or packet connection! That would make it unfeasible to use when on holday because of data costs!
Also is anyone else struggling to get a gps signal?
Also when are we going to get turn by turn guidance.
Beginning to think I've been sold a big waste of money!!

    1) Use the Nokia maps loader:
    http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/maps-support/compatibility-and-download#/default/
You must connect your phone in mass storage mode
    2) Actually the GPS is the best I've ever seen on a phone.. I can get  a lock in seconds.. its rediculously quick
    3) I wouldn't be surprised if we never get an updated Maemo maps. Sygic however produce an alternative product that is really quite good.. it isn't cheap (or free TV adverts keep telling me Nokia maps is.. pffft)

  • Why N8 would not allow to download maps from inter...

Got a new N8 mobile, updated the OVI maps application which deleted the existing maps (after confirmation) and now the ovi application is asking me to connect to wifi.
Is there any workaround for the WiFi using settings or something else so that i can download the maps using 3G working on N8 mobile.
    http://www.bakwaash.com/

yeah i understand the problem a little bit, but the OVI Update should have told me this before updating.
It just said that it would delete the maps and i would need them to download again, it never said that wifi would be the only option.
I did not had access to wifi (neither a laptop) when i updated the ovi application (Only 3G Access) and it was sort of shock to see that there is no option to download the maps.
In Online Mode it kept telling waiting for GPS signal (for infinite time) and then i downloaded a GPS compass from OVI store and it got GPS signal within seconds.
Yes Roaming users can be of concern but don'nt you think majority of users are being blocked of the functionality who are not roaming, may be a simple messagebox saying that if you are on roaming then it might be costlier to download maps using 3g?

  • Unable to download maps from internet

I've created a slideshow from an album, and upon selecting the places theme, iPhoto attempts to download maps. Eventually however it timesout with the message 'to create a places sideshow, you must be connected to the internet' - yet internet is not dropping.
The slideshow is large (created from an album of 500 visible (200 hidden) images). Are there constraints to the size of a slideshow (i'm not running out of disk space). I've had some mixed success with downloading maps for different variations of the slideshow, however lately its consistently failing.
I'm a novice with iPhoto so may be doing something fundamentally wrong.
    thanks

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Did you go back to the iPhoto/Advanced preference pane and make sure "Look up places" is set to "Automatically"?

  • Downloading Maps without Phone Connected?

When I try to download maps, for example for all of Europe, Ovi Suite demands that the phone stays connected. As downloading would take a couple of hours: Is there a way to download maps first to the PC and then to the phone?

No, you can't. The software functions to download the files into your PC then directly transfers it to the phone as it does not have capacity to create permanent storage folders on your PC for maps.

What maps version are you using (3.06/3.07/3.08)? And what update are you saying specifically? The update option to download country maps works only via WiFi. You can use online maps if the maps is set to online and you are logged in to your Ovi Account.
