I am brand new to Photoshop. I purchased the PS Elements/ Premiere Elements bundle, but the PE download says "not applicable". My pc is new and runs on Windows 8. Help please!

You say that you are running these programs on Windows 8? Can we assume correctly that is Windows 8 64 bit instead of 32 bit?
From what you wrote, it sounds like you purchased Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 installation files with serial numbers from Adobe as a download purchase. Is that correct?
In the download purchase, there would appear to be a choice for Windows or Mac. Is there also a selection for 32 versus 64 bit system installation files? I am wondering if there is a mismatch in 32 vs 64 bit computer system and those installation files?
Could you check your order to determine what was ordered versus what you believe you now have?

Did you purchase from Adobe directly or from your academic institution? If you purchased from Adobe then the software should be available under your account. Please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=KBHJQ for information on how to download your purchased Adobe software.
If you did not purchase the software from Adobe directly then you can download the trial from https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom&promoid&promoid=D TEML. You can install the trial and then enter the serial number which you have already received. -
I purchased “Adobe Captivate 8 Student and Teacher Edition” for Mac on 7/31/14 and it is now 12/17/14 (only 5 months later) but it is showing as “Not applicable” when I go to download (maybe re-download) the program. I understood that I would be able to use the application on 2 computers, one at home and one at work. I think I’ve downloaded the program at home one time but have yet to install and activate it. I now have a new computer at work that can support that program and want to install the program on my office computer, but cannot download it again. Please advise.
It seems like that you have purchased a subscription for Captivate 8. In subscription you do not require any serial number. Subscriptions are activated on the basis of your Adobe Id. When user will install Captivate he has to sign in with the same Adobe Id under which they bought subscription. It will get activated after successful sign in during the installation.
As far as the installer is concern there is no difference in the trial version installer or purchased version installer. The installer is same for trial and purchased copy. All user needs to do is sign in during the installation if it is a subscription or use his serial number if it is a perpetual license or volume license.
You may download the trial version from the link mentioned above and then use your Adobe Id to activate the subscription.

Lightroom 5 Download not applicable
I purchased Lightroom 5 Mac/Windows English. In my order history It will not allow me to download it. It will give me the serial number but says the download is not applicable.
It will only allow me to download windows, multiple languages or mac, multiple languages. I paid for Mac/Windows Enligsh.

Can't download Photoshop elements 13 purchased on line with download page showing not applicable.

Years ago started with Photoshop 2.0 advanced to Photoshop Deluxe 4.0 so far so good.

I had the Photoshop 12 trial version and wanted to upgrade to Photoshop Elements 13, I got the serial number but I can't find where to download the program at. On the screen beside the serial number it says it is not applicable. Normally that is where the download button is.

Bridge CC Adobe Bridge CC 6.0.1 Update Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M2P28
(MAC) I downloaded Bridge CC and accidently deleted it unproperly. I just trashed it in the trash can and emptied it. I can't restore/ re-download it becuase it still says on Creative Cloud that Bridge is up to date, but when I looked online to properly delete it it Bridge CC is not in my Utilities/Adobe Installers? I tried to install Photoshop_CS6_13_0_5_upd.dmg and got:

I bought Photoshop CS6 as a download directly from Adobe, installed Photoshop_CS6_13_0_1_upd.dmg without problems, and then activated Photoshop with offline activation on a computer not connected to the Internet. When I try to update I get these log messages:

Basically, all you have to do is update the Application Manager (if your installation was like mine, I was still on v.6... it's up to v.9 now. Go here for the update: Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Macintosh : Adobe Application Manager and run it... when done, launch Photoshop and check for updates.
This is amazingly idiotic, I must add -- how does App Manager NOT update itself through the update process??? -
KB2992611 "not applicable" error message when installing on server 2012R2
Attempting to patch my 2012r2 servers for the new KB2992611 schannel critical bug, see: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/MS14-066. I downloaded the 2012r2 version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44643
and then attempt to install on several 2012r2 servers.
I get a message saying "The update is not applicable to your computer." on every single 2012r2 standard server I have tried. Anyone else seeing this or have any ideas how to resolve? The 2012 version of the patch went on just fine to
a 2012 setup.
Edit: also seeing the same thing when I try to install the appropriate version for my windows 8.1 desktop client.You probably will need to call it in. Almost all files are marked not applicable. Security / Hotfix support is always free.
