Download- not compatible version!!

This is very frustrating. Adobe doesnt provide a customer service number to call! They just send you to these forums.
Ok, so I just purchsed Photoshop Elements for $99. Took 3 hours to download. Now its telling me my OS is not
compatible with this current version.....so- after 3 long hours of waiting, no Photoshop. It wont install. I am either:
a.) Trying to get a refund or b.) Trying to get a 'version' that is compatible with my OS. Its telling me that my version
is OS 10.6.8 ? Apparently, the version I downloaded is OS7. Is there a way I can download the appropriate version? Thank you!!

b.) Trying to get a 'version' that is compatible with my OS. Its telling me that my version

Are you mixing terms up?
Sounds like your Operating System is OS X 10.6.8.
Elements 12 requires at least OS X 10.7
System requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements
See Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mavericks. for upgrading your operating system (if your computer can run it).
OS7 sounds like a reference to Apple's mobile operating system iOS7 which is for mobile devices (iPhone, iPad), not desktops or laptops.

  • Provider not compatible version of Oracle client after upgrade 4.112.1.2

    I had an ASP.NET 3.5 website running
on intranet small business server as production with:
    OS Win2008 Standard 32-bit
    Oracle Database 11g107 32-bit
    Oracle DataAccess 2.111.60 32-bit
    On a development laptop,
    I upgraded the website to ASP.NET 4.0.
    The development laptop had
    OS Windows 7 32-bit
    VS 2010
    Oracle Database 11g201 32-bit
    Oracle DataAccess 4.112.12
    Application was running without errors.
    On the production server,
    I uninstalled Oracle Database 11g107,
to include removing Oracle home and install folders,
and in HKLM > Software > Oracle registry folder.
    I installed Oracle Database 11g201
and installed the ODP.NET upgrade to 4.112.12.
    (except for VS components).
    In the website web.config,
I changed the referenced assembly to:
    <assemblies>
         <add assembly="Oracle.DataAccess, Version=4.112.1.2, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89b483f429c47342" />
I changed IIS70 Application pool advanced settings to ASP.NET 4.0,
    restarting application pool and website.
    Rebooted system.
On starting the application when it accesses the Oracle connection,
I get the dreaded: Provider not compatible.
Exception Details: Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException: The provider is not compatible with the version of Oracle client
Source Error: An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

It is not the VB.NET Oracle connection code,
as it runs fine on the development laptop.
So I look into the GAC.
GACUTIL /l shows 2.111.60 is still in the .NET

The application works fine on production server when I use SYSTEM.DATA.ORACLECLIENT.

i have an ipad 2 with ios 6 and i want to download ibooks using the itunes on my laptop .but the ibooks is compatible with ios 7 or later.i need ibooks urgently and how do i download the compatible version in my windows laptop.

Download the iBooks app to iTunes on your computer. Once it's downloaded, go to the Purchased section in the App Store on the iPad, select iBooks and you should be prompted to download a compatible version.

  • Audio driver download not compatible with hardware

Pavilion dv6 1280-us - windows 7 64 bit reinstall - downloaded audio drivers from HP support site, but error message says hardware detected is not compatible with the software and install is cancelled.  Where do I go from here?

The first step would be to verify that you downloaded the correct version of the driver. You should have seen an option for both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions. I would verify that you downloaded the 64-bit version.
You can also check the manufacturer's website for your audio device. They may have an updated version of the driver that they have not gotten to HP yet.

If i copy the Programm-Exe and the Oracle.DataAccess.dll on an other PC and start this Programm there, i became a Error-Message:

Is there anybody that can help me?
    thanks,

You need to run the installer to install ODP.NET on the target machine. Simply copying a few files is not good enough (at least not until we support xcopy instant client).

There are no downloads(aside from updaters in Software Update.) You need to purchase a iLife 09 or earlier DVD or install iPhoto from the computer's original disks.

  • CS6 downloaded not CC versions.

Somebody already asked but there was no link to the answer, so I ask same question. Everything in the Adobe site leads me to believe that the CC versions of the aplications are the current versions, however, when I open application manager, I only see the CS6 versions. Do I have to uninstall something and then reinstal? What do I do to install the CC versions?
    Peter Nielsen

The CC versions will become available on June 17th.  You will need to install the CC version separate from the CS6 version.  They can both exist though on the same computer for most applications.
