Download OC4J broken

I have tried to download OC4J, but have not been able to do so. I found the download on the page
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/index.html
After accepting the license agreement and clicking the link OC4J standalone, it gives met the OTN login, which I entered correctly. Then I am referred to:
http://download-uk.oracle.com/otn/java/oc4j/101310/oc4j_extended_101310.zip
Which gives me either an error message or 0 byte zip file, depending on the browser.
Am I doing something wrong here?

Sorry about that.
I'll get someone to check this out ASAP, thanks.
I heard that a site upgrade was done on the weekend and there are some links that didn't migrate nicely. This could be one of them.
cheers

    Hello,
On Mac OS X 10.4.8 the oc4j shell script doesn't work either. If you call the script with VERBOSE=on
oc4j -shutdown -port 23791 -password admin
You get the following call to admin.jar
    Shutdown OC4J instance...
    Executing: /Library/Java/Home/bin/java -jar ../j2ee/home/admin.jar ormi://localhost:23792 oc4jadmin oc4j -shutdown
    Error: Missing ormi[s]://<host>:<port>
If I hack the script so the command becomes
    Shutdown OC4J instance...
    Executing: /Library/Java/Home/bin/java -jar ../j2ee/home/admin.jar ormi:// oc4jadmin oc4j -shutdown
It works. localhost is set correct so there must be problem in admin.jar since any valid hostname:port should work.

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 - Express Download Link Broken

    Hello there
I am installing Backup Exec 2014 and during the installation I need to provide the EXE from the "Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 SP2 - Express" installer (German version). Unfortunately the link is broken, even when I navigate from the download
page to the SQL Express download page (http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=30438) I always get:
We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.
I cannot find the German installer anywhere else in the internet, and as I just had to uninstall the old backup solution to be able to start the installer from the new one it is quite important that I get this file as quick as possible so I can get the backup
    running again.
Any idea what I could do or where I could find the installer?
    Thanks for you help.
    Kind regards
    Phil

    Hello Phil,
    yes, seems to be broken.
    Download 2008 R2 SP1 (http://www.microsoft.com/de-DE/download/details.aspx?id=26729) and apply SP 2 afterwards.

  • Download link broken? (RESOLVED)

Is anyone else having problems downloading OEM Grid Control 11gR2 for 64-bit Linux. The links for other operating systems like 32-bit Linux appear to work, but the link for 64-bit Linux says "We're sorry, the page you requested was not found." I also cannot find a way to report broken links to the webmaster. Hmmm.
A few weeks ago I downloaded the files, but went on vacation. After vacation I tried to unzip the files and discovered two of the three files are corrupt. I need to re-download the files but keep getting error 404.
EDIT - The link is working again.

  • Mavericks download Links Broken

I need to be able to point people to a location allow people to download Mavericks if they have never done so previously. Currently the link to download Mavericks from the Apple store is broken. A majority of Apple Users that are upgrading to YOSEMITE from a previous system are having issues with YOSEMITE. (see commits on many websites about YOSEMITE.)
If someone wants to upgrade, downgrade or reinstall Mavericks they should be able to access the OS in the Apple Store. You can still get older versions:
If you need older versions of OS X, they can purchased on the Apple Online Store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/help/downloadable_software#MacOSX
    Snow Leopard (10.6)
    Lion (10.7)
    Mountain Lion (10.8)
Mavericks (10.9). Learn how to upgrade to OS X Mavericks. ( <<-- The Mavericks Link now links to YOSEMITE.)
The direct link I had for Mavericks gets message:
Get OS X Mavericks right now from the Mac App Store (direct link)
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id675248567?mt=12
Clicking Mavericks Direct Link gets Message:
Connecting to the Mac App Store...
Item Not Available > The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store.
I myself have downloaded Mavericks previously so it shows up in my App Store and when attempting to re-download it I get an "Error 1004 please try again later." & "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (13)"
Please reinstate the Link for Mavericks so Users that have issues with YOSEMITE can still upgrade, downgrade or reinstall Mavericks.

The Point of this is, many peoples issues are they did not read the entire requirements on the Mac Website for Yosemite before upgrading to Yosemite. As a result of feature Requirements needing a newer model MAC than the Check your Mac hardware lists and they crash, run slow, or appear buggy. Many people lost the original Mavericks install app when they upgraded to Mavericks because they did not save / relocate the install app before running it.
We all were under the impression that we could re-download it from the App Store. This is failing and those that did not previously download Mavericks do not have this option available.
    Upgrade to OS X Yosemite.
Free on the Mac App Store.
    http://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade/
    1. Check your Mac hardware.
These Mac models are compatible with OS X Yosemite:
        •    iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
        •    MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
        •    MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
        •    MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
        •    Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
        •    Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
        •    Xserve (Early 2009)
    2. Check your version of OS X.
You can upgrade to OS X Yosemite from the following:
        •    OS X Snow Leopard (v10.6.8)
        •    OS X Lion (v10.7)
        •    OS X Mountain Lion (v10.8)
        •    OS X Mavericks (v10.9)
Now if you Notice the Check you Mac hardware shows older models than the Feature Requirements:
    3. Check Feature Requirements:
        Handoff and Instant Hotspot
        AirDrop
        AirPlay Mirroring
        Power Nap
Supported by the following Mac models:
⁃    MacBook Air (2012 or newer)
⁃    MacBook Pro (2012 or newer)
        ⁃    iMac (2012 or newer)
⁃    Mac mini (2012 or newer)
        ⁃    Mac Pro (Late 2013)

  • SQL Express Download links broken

    Hi,
I was trying to download SQL Server Management Studio Express from http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/download/default.aspx. The links on this page seem to be broken.
I tried to download the Mgmt Studio Express by clicking on a link that points to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=65110.
Anyone else facing this issue? Is there another place I can get SQL Server Management Studio Express from?

I just wanted to download "SQL Server 2014 LocalDB Express 64 Bit" from Microsoft download page but it won't allows me to download anything from there it just redirects me to previous page, no message, no explanation no nothing and it's frustrating...
I manage to install LocalDB eventually, I find installation somewhere on my HDD that I've downloaded before, but I can't get it why I still can't download anything from Microsoft SQL Express download page ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/server-cloud/products/sql-server-editions/sql-server-express.aspx
Again, after following all steps to download the file "SQL Server 2014 LocalDB Express 64 Bit", all I get is redirection to http://goo.gl/QCIWXP ... ???

  • Can't download oc4j or any documentation on OTN

I'm getting 404 errors when trying to download the 9.0.4 oc4j standalone or ANY documentation on OTN. I had the same problem yesterday. I've tried with both Firefox and MSIE 6.
    The error returned is:
Sorry, this page was not found. (ErrorDocument 404)
Is there an FTP site that can be used to get the 9.0.4 oc4j_extended.zip?

I was running into a lot of "Page Not Found" errors also. Looks like someone accidentally published stuff to OTN from their internal staging server(s) to their external servers with absolute links instead of relative ones.
Take a look at the beginning of the URL. Where you see this:
    http://otn-stage.us.oracle.com/
    replace it with this:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/
The links to the internal "staging" server will only work for folks inside Oracle (which is why they didn't notice when testing their changes).

  • Fusion Order Demo (R1PS5) Download is Broken

Hi, the zip file for the Fusion Order Demo (R1PS5) appears to be broken. I've downloaded the file multiple times and every time I attempt to open it I receive the following message:
    Windows cannot open the folder
The Compressed (zipped) Folder 'C:\Users\...\Downloads\FusionOrderDemo_R1PS5.zip' is invalid.
The file can be downloaded from the following link:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/jdeveloper/11.1.1.6.0/extensions/FusionOrderDemo_R1PS5.zip
Is it possible to get the file fixed? Thanks!
    Edited by: SDH1776 on Aug 14, 2012 11:03 AM

The zip program built into Windows 7 64-bit would not recognize the zip file as a valid archive. I had success opening the archive after I installed 7-Zip.

  • All Studio 10 and 11 Download Sites broken

seems all the download links on the oracle sites are broken and point in circular motion or to a paysite.
I need the Studio 10 compilers from the software Archives for compiling our software on my sparc machines running solaris 9 and 10, and went happily on with my saved sun links... or so i thought. They sent me to Oracle... so far, so good, but... the Oracle Download Pages supposed to get me to the solaris content send me through the Oracle Maze in circular motion. No way to get to the sun software archive that HAS to be here somewhere, according to oracle...
Then I tried the Studio 11 download ( not sure if it works for me though ) from the oracle download pages but here i go carouselling again.
    Now I am dizzy.
If i dig in deep and try to go to the downloads from the sun archives, Oracle is asking me a support identifier, which i obviously only get if i pay, as far as i found out...
and if i try to get the studio 11 i get fooled in circles.
    help!

With the acquisition of Sun, by Oracle, the Oracle Solaris Studio (frmly, Sun Studio) site has moved to the Oracle Technical Network (OTN):
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/solarisstudio/overview/index.html
You can download the latest release, Oracle Solaris Studio 12.2, here as well as a few older releases. The Sun Studio 11 download page has a link to a page explaining the download changes for older Sun software. That page has a link to the Sun Archive, which is available in My Oracle Support (MOS) for Oracle support customers:
    https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html#tab=KBHome(page=KBHome&id=()),(page=KBNavigator&id=(from=BOOKMARK&bmDocTitle=Sun%20Archive&bmDocID=1302856.1&bmDocType=ANNOUNCEMENT&bmDocDsrc=KB&viewingMode=1143))
Sun Studio 11 is available in the Sun Archive. Sun Studio 10 can be made available via a request to Oracle Support.

  • Download page broken

The download page for OEPE, and the instructions page, both appear to be broken - Google has a cached copy from 29 May 2009
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14545_01/help/oracle.eclipse.tools.common.doc/html/install.html

    Ha! Too funny!!
It does NOT work in Apple's own Safari, even after reloads and cache clearing, but works fine in FireFox.
For Safari screenshot, see http://nulookgraphics.com/nobutton.png .
    THANKS!!
P.S. Time to seriously reconsider browsers. If I didn't already have FireFox downloaded, I would really have been P.O.ed. I don't like the way FireFox renders pages, such as forms, etc. But, what the heck, it displays Apple.com better than Apple does!
