Download of Forms

Does the tool provide the ability to download the forms present on the form server.
There is a need to provide this functionality to the user to be able to download a form present in the form server.
The workflow should be able to provide a form to the user. The form should have a button by the name of download. The user should press download and the user should be prompted to enter a location on the local machine where the form should be downloaded.

I'll follow up your questions with a couple of questions/comments of my own...
- Are you using the Adobe LiveCycle Workflow product? If not, then this is the wrong forum.
- Form Server is not a repository...it is a form processing engine. Did you mean Form Manager?
- If you ARE using Workflow and/or Form Manager, then this capability is already provided to you
through the Form Manager web interface. You wouldn't need (or want) to implement this within a form.
- If you are only using the Form Server product, then the managing of the forms in a repository is
up to you. You would have to develop a custom web application to provide this functionality.

I know this is no longer supported forms 6.0, however, I have an application which is running on forms 6.0 for solaris. Unfortunely, I lost the CD and I have to make some changes on this application. On the mininal changes if I can get back oracle forms 6.0 for solaris.

I am trying to download a form to fill in and it appears in Windows wordpad and there are milions of random characters which |I have to delete before I get to the text and then the test isn't in the format of a form to fill in. Help!!!

Get the physical copy (disk) this will enable you to reinstall when (not if ) it messes up.
Make sure to purchase acopy that is compatible with your OSX

it seems like its an issue with permissions.
Make sure your user has permission to write (save) a file to your computer.

Uploading and downloading adobe forms in sap report program This thread contains the answer,
let me extract it for you:
1. Use the FM 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
* Get the name of the generated function module
CALL FUNCTION 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
    EXPORTING
     i_name       = 'ZAD_FORMNAME'
    IMPORTING
   e_funcname = V_FMNAME.
2. Call the generated function module to generate the pdf.
CALL FUNCTION lv_fmname
      EXPORTING
          /1bcdwb/docparams = s_docparams
      IMPORTING
         /1bcdwb/formoutput   = s_form_output
      EXCEPTIONS
         usage_error   = 1
         system_error       = 2
         internal_error     = 3.
3. The above structure 's_form_output' will have the PDF output in the XSTRING.
4. Use the FM - SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY to convert the XSTRING to binary.
5. Finally call the GUI download Function Module or Method -
CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_download

for the moment you can Forcequit, as Eustace said.
Really quit a program you do by clicking the menu bar of the program where its name is, on the bottom you see "Quit (appname)"; when it is in the Dock, rightclick it in the Dock and choose "Quit".
Now about yout attachment: it does not matter what you did to it and where you moved it, as long as Preview is still open it doesn't let it go.

Fill in downloaded pdf form

I want to fill in the blanks of a downloaded PDF form. Currently, I have to print out the form and fill it in by hand. What product is best for this?

The free Adobe Reader can fill out forms - if the form author allows it. Otherwise this is beyond anyone's control. If a form is not allowed to be filled out on screen, then there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I opened my form and downloaded the form to post on my website... but the submit button is not working.

What am I doing wrong? The first time I created my form I used Acrobat and the FormsCentral embedded in the program. The original form was working, but I had to make some changes to it. I can't get FormCentral to launch within Acrobat anymore. I loaded my new form (with the changes) to Forms Central through the browser interface, yet when I open the form and download the form to post the posted form does not work. Help!

Wonder if anyone has found a way to download applications form the app store. such as candy crush, or friends with words. I keep getting a message saying not compatible, I have the nokia n8 update to belle.

Where is a downloaded PDF form?

I've tried many times to download my PDF form but everytime I do I can't find it. I get the bar saying it's exporting, and then downloading the form but then nothing. Have searched my entire computer but it's nowhere to be found! Any ideas? Thanks

Not sure I understand the question. Are you talking about the "Download Response as PDF" feature (to see the PDF filled out with the filler's data) or the "Download Submission Enabled PDF" (to sent to people to fill out)?
If you imported a PDF in FormsCentral, the Submission Enabled PDF will look exactly the same as the imported PDF plus a submit button
If you designed the form in FormsCentral and save the Submission Enabled PDF it will look very similar to the web form (switch the view in the Design Tab to Page View to see what the PDF will look like)
The PDF doesn't use skip logic or show/hide logic so this mean that the PDF always shows all the form elements

This FAQ should describe the issue - you need to be using Adobe Reader (free) or Adobe Acrobat to fill out the PDF, Preview on the Mac breaks the PDF so it is no longer usable: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2653
