Download older program
I have been trying to figure out how to download the version of elements I already own, elements 9. I have hard copy version, thus the serial number but my new computer does not have a disc drive so trying to figure how to download from online source....I keep getting routed to downloads for elelments 11, can find no source for elements 9. Help!!??

Upon downloading the elements 12 folder, I dont understand how to install it.Could someone walk me through this?

Will Lion work with older programs
I have lots of older programs including Adobe CS, Adobe CS3, Eudora 6.2, etc. that work fine on my iMac running 10.6.8 with i3 processor, will they work with Lion if I upgrade? Just checking before I download the update. Thanks for any info.
CS3 runs but reportedly has issues. Adobe CS, the original version, will not work, nor will any application that is PowerPC only, since Lion no longer supports PowerPC applications. If you don't know what apps are PowerPC only, Get Info on the app, and in the Kind section, it will say. Apps that say either "Intel" or "Universal" at least have the potential to run, though there are other factors involved in Lion compatibility. The RoaringApps site is a useful resource:

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION & USE
Allows a user to download programs, Functions, DD definitions, etc to the presentation server. This
version searches recursively for nested includes and function modules, and allows you to download
the resulting code as standard text or HTML web pages within a suitable directory structure.
You can either search by object name, using wildcards if you wish, or a combination of Author and
object name. If you want all objects returned for a particular author then select the author name
and choose the most suitable radiobutton. All objects will be returned if the fields to the right
hand side of the radiobutton are left completely blank.
Compatible with R/3 Enterprise only, for older versions of SAP you will need Direct Download version 5.xx.
This version removes the programming limitations imposed by developing across SAP releases 3 to 4.6.
This program is intended to allow a person to keep a visual representation of a program for backup
purposes only as has not been designed to allow programs to be uploaded to SAP systems.

trying to login to software program known as hamspher (vip simulated ham radio, it downloaded the program but it will not allow me to login with call sign and pin. it has to be opened with what they call a jar file. how do i do this?
This is compatible with Mac? Especially Snow Leopard (if that is what you'e running)?

I upgraded my Macbook Pro (early 2011) to OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. Now, I cannot open iPhoto. It says I have to download older version of iPhoto. When I go to the app store, it says: The version of iPhoto installed on this Mac is not compatible with OS X Yosemite. Download the latest version for free from the Mac App Store. the it says: "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S.Do I need to find my original Macbook disk and install it back and go from there? Did I loose all my pics? Do I really ned it if they are all visible from the new "Photos" App? HELP!

When I download a program it always instals in German.

I can not do anything about it, the language used in the new program is always German.
It is like there is some setting which tells the the installation file that the application needs to be German.
Except when it is downloaded from the App Store.
I am Dutch and mostly I use English as a languge. I can read and speak German but I just do not want it as a languge in a program on my MacBook Pro
I do not want German as a language. So how can I take care of this problem.
Any ideas?The preferred language on my computer is Dutch. And yes that is what is on top.
There is no other in the list.
Some applications I prefer in English like Photoshop.
It is with third party applications, not App Store or Adobe, but with something like MS Office. -
I am trying to download a program off the internet.
I am trying to download a program for school from this website http://snap2007.emcp.com/login/login.php It's telling me that I need internet explorer (which I have IE8) in order to download the training assessment I need for school. Does anyone know of a way I can download this program without changing firefox?

Be aware that using the IE browser comes with all its vulnerabilities, so only use it on trusted websites. -
My Firefox ver. 3.6 stopped loading pages of any kind. Even Google or Facebook! I don't know how this happened. May it is because I tried to download a program that didn't even open up.... But I don't know how to make it work. All other browsers work normally, and I'm scanning for viruses even though my anti-virus did not warn me of anything... I tried to download a keygen and this is what happened. I can't figure out what it is. Not a connection problem. I even tried to uninstall an re-install firefox, but still nothing worked.

i downloaded a program and moved the file from which it was orignally downloaded now everytime i open it it says repair now...what do i do to get it to stop doing that...i hit repair now every time and it still says it everytime upon the programs startup
Photoshop needs to be in the folder within Applications in which it was originally created. Put it back where you got it.
Did you actually complete the download process or were you maybe running from the .dmg that you downloaded? -
About a year ago I purchased the student addition of the Adobe Creative suite 6 Design Standard and just recently purchased an additional computer for my home. Can I use the same disc that I previously purchased to download the program?
Yes, as long as the machine meets the system requirements for the software you can install and activate it. Your license allows you to have the software installed and activated on two machines.

Adobe is giving me the runaround when all i want to do is download the programs i bought several years ago. Anyone else experience this? Contacted support, was told i would get a call back. Account blocked so I had to create a new one to download trial versions to compete my work. So frustrated.
You will need to have the serial number to activate the products. Please have then handy & also check the compatibility of the operating systems.
