Download Option Recommendations?

I'd like to to start using Flash right away, but my local
store is sold out of the CS4 Production Premium package I'm looking
for. I was looking at the Adobe website and they have both shipping
and download options for purchase. Has anyone done the download
option? Are there downsides? Can I burn the software to a DVD and
keep it as a backup copy? Any recommendations are
appreciated.

Why is my Download option to re-download a purchased item, is grayed out? It's not active.
Doublechecking. Did you delete the item (and associated file) from your library prior to attempting the redownload?

Can't find iTune download option

I feel so silly, but I'm stuck on how to actually purchase a song on iTunes. I've filled in the credit card info and I'm all singed up, even selected my song and added it, but where is the download button? I swear, I've scoured the page and no shopping cart or download option.
I'm using iTune 7.0.2, made my selection, filled in the creditcard info, and now I'm stuck!

I recommend using the Shopping Cart method of purchase. Go to iTunes prefs>Store> and select the "Buy Using ....Cart" ooption.
Select your tune from what ever page in the iTS - then select the Shopping Cart icon under the "Store" in the far left column. The contents of the cart will be displayed.
In the lower righ is a "Buy Now" icon. You will be asked several questions to confirm the purchase and then the d/l will begin.

How do I block the download option on photos in my iWeb site?

I am an artist and have posted lots of photos of my art in my iWeb site. I am dismayed to see a download link show up when I click on the photos in my live site! How do I block the download option on my photos?

I downloaded a recommended update and since then my ipod touch (3rd gen) is frozen and will not turn on. I try restoring factory settings but the process terminates with a 1604 error. I have researched this problem on the net and think i have tried everything, but still no joy. I have tried removing all apple and itunes software and reinstalling, updating the apple drivers - nothing has worked. I am using itunes 10.3 on my pc, windows xp.
If anyone can help me i would be extremely grateful - I am off on holiday on thursday and would love to have my ipod with me!

Error 1604: This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling USB ports, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections, device not recognized properly, computer won't recognize a FireWire or USB device). If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for error 1604.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while iPhone remains connected.
iPhone should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

I often download tv shows on apple tv. All of a sudden I don't have the option to download tv shows but can download movies. Internet connection is good. I simply don't have the search or download options for tv. What is happening?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Check your store location is set correctly, if this doesn't help, try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds.

With streaming music files I used to be able to hover over the file with the mouse and see a "Download" option. However, after a recent uninstall and reinstall of FireFox, I no longer see this option. Please help!

Even with files I used to be able to see the download option with (Quicktime files) I do not see the option when I hover over it with the mouse.

Which add-ons do you have that say "incompatible with Firefox 5.0"?
Maybe something like download helper? You need to find an update for that add-on.

Removing Download option in Photo Album

Iweb photo gallery -- download option unwanted

I just created my first site using iweb and put a photo gallery on there. I noticed that there is a download option which I DO NOT want on there!! I want to make my photo galleries view ONLY! Is there a way to change the settings??

No. There is not way to prevent any photo on a web site to not be copied. At the least a visitor can make a screenshot of it.
To make it more difficult for someone to use one of your photos as if it were one of their own put a watermark on the photos. It's not foolproof but will discourage the less sophisticated users from using them.
There are many watermarking applications that can add them in batches. Go to MacUpDate.com and search for "watermark" to find possible candidates.

Problem with file download option in ALV via ITS. Please help!

I have a ALV report which I have web enabled using ITS service. In the ALV there is a delivered functionality for file download. It works fine when the report is run in the SE80. But when I run the ITS service for the report and choose file download option it displays a page saying "this page has been diaplayed due to technical reasons" with title "File properties". In addition it looks for Java runtime in the browser. After all this it opens a popup window for selecting path and file name.
This is not user friendly and many customers have rasied their concerns on it.
My question is that,
Q1: What is the need of this "File properties page"? Why ITS calls this while ABAP editor does not?
Q2: Is there any way we can suppress this so that it directly opens a popup window for selecting path and file name?

i have also the problem with these intermediate screens!
We have in between installed patch 22 for ITS 6.20 and SP18 at SAP Netweaver 2004!
But they are still not processed invisible for the users.
Are there any additional parameters, which controls this behaviour(~webgui_updown_make_visible is not used!)?
How can i check, if i have really a.ex. the actual ws.jar-file or other related files of the patch?
We are using the standalone ITS with an own (modified) IAC with an own CI-design for the webpages. The intermediate screens are displayed with the "normal" SAPGUI-design because of the parameter ~generatedynpro. Without this it does not work, because the template SAPLSIT_0100 is missing!
Or do you have an example for such a intermediate template with the applet for an upload of a file?

Can you further elaborate on your concern? What exactly do you mean by "download option is not working"? Can you select the Download option? If not, can you describe it? Is it grey out? Any error message? Does this happen to all of your apps? BTW, how are you accessing the Nokia Store? Is it via the Nokia Store app or through your phone browser? If you're using the app, try to access it via phone browser to check if the same issue will occur.
If you are using the app, make sure that it is up to date. You can update it by going to store.nokia.mobi through your phone browser. You can also try to restart the phone to refresh it. Hope this helps.

The download options are setup in OracleBI\web\msgdb\messages\viewscontrolmessages.xml
- Search for the tag *<WebMessage name="kmsgEVCDownloadLinks">* that contains the download links within the hyperlink tag
- Each hyperlink tag is a download option
- Reorder as you require
- The actual text that gets displayed as a link can also be customized by editing the entry for a message such as kmsgEVCLinkDownloadExcel in the OracleBI\web\msgdb\l_en\messages\viewmessages.xml [the customization is locale specific]
- Restart the presentation server

Need to add print and download options for report in new window

Hi,
On one of the columns empid of the report1 (which is on the dashboard) , I am using navigation and pointing it to report2.
Report1 has all the links, print, download and refresh (I enabled them using the section properties) but when I click on empid and it takes me to report2, then I don't see any links under that report. I want to include print and download links for report2 when it opens in the new window.
I know, one way is to embedd that report in the dashboard page and hide it, but is there any other way of doing it?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

RonnyPlease explain why you can't do what I said. What is the "requirements" that prevent this? It would be transparent to the user, really. They just click and get their report.

Delete download option for photographs

I am a professional photographer and don't want to make it so easy for people to download my images. How can I get rid of the download option in an album when the user clicks on a single photograph?

As a professional photographer myself, I understand the above poster's concern. I too use iWeb to create quick online galleries but was surprised to find the new iWeb create a "Download" button. I immediately came here for help after spending about an hour trying to find that magic button to disable this function. Surely Apple would not do this to the many photographers that use their app. Or so I thought.
I understand that all the web-savvy user had to do in the original iWeb was right click on a photo to save or simply drag it to one's desktop on the Mac. I felt that my copyright disclaimer was enough to place the burden on the viewers concience. The problem I have with Apple automatically including this button on all photo pages is that it communicates the wrong message that the owner of that particular page (the photographer) supports and is encouraging others to download the images for their own free use. Why have the disclaimer and then include a download button?
This may be a dealbreaker for me. I purchased Rapid Weaver a short while ago but never did use it. I can't believe I may actually have to switch because of this very important oversight.
