I just got a Macbook Air running 10.8.2 and an iPad Mini. I downloaded Pages for both. I created a document in pages on the MBair and tried to save it to the iPad Mini so I could work on it while commuting and the file does not show up on the mini. I can transfer files made in Microsoft word no problem, but files made in the same program do not work. Any help?? Very frustrating.

You are aware that Pages for Mac and Pages for iPad /iPhone/iPod are 2 different program?
Looks like you have Pages for Apple mobile devices but not for your Mac.

The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside in order to purchase iTunes content.

Can I download Pages for free onto my late 2012 Macbook Pro with retina display and 8 gb of memory. The machine is running Yosemite Versus 10.10.1.

Pages is free for those that have purchased a new Mac. If you have never owned Pages before, then it is a purchase product for you. I suggest you look at the product reviews in the App Store, before you rush to purchase it. It is not a Word clone either.

Creating a safe download page for paypal customers

I am starting a new website. And I'm just about done but I need a safe download page for my customers that will be coming back onto the site to download my product after paying for it on paypal. I understand that this has to be a job that will include some programming. Because the page has to limit the amount of downloads. Unfortunately, my graphic design course did not include programming as a subject. Can anybody help me? I am able to download dreamweaver and pasting code into an .html and saving it. That is about it and all that I think that will be needed. I am here on adobe.com after an unsuccessful google search. Please help! Aggggh! Candiz

I think paypal will do this for you WITHOUT revealing the page the user is redirected to BEFORE payment has been made

I think paypal has been updated a bit since the video but the fundamentals will most likely still be available.

I tried. It would not download. A drop down notice said an error had occurred and to return to the purchase page; which I have done on numerous occasions. (What I am to do on the purchase page I am not sure, other than to click on purchases and see that the same iPhoto download is available. By the way, this was not purchased. It just showed up with two other items free items, which did download nicely.)

It's so hard that Adobe has no contact form, no way I can see to contact them. The help is not helpful to me, it's more like an FAQ. So I'd also be interested in knowing how their customer support is from anyone who has had to use it. They don't have any obvious way to contact them for pre-sales support. When I see that I get suspicious that you will get no help once you hand your money over.

How to download Pages for Mac OS X 10.6.8?

Hi all,
I have Mac OS X 10.6.8. Version 10.7.4 is required to be able to install Pages.
Is an upgrade to Mountain Lion worth the money, and will it enable me to download Pages from the Apple Store? If not, is there a possibility to buy an older version of Pages somewhere?
Also, does an upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion equal an upgrade to OS X 10.8?

The early bugs were related to Snow Leopard updates, they just affected Pages. It was font issues & was "cured" by using the combo updaters. So, even if you're using Snow Leopard 10.6.8, it would be worth running the combo updater you can download from this page, especially if you're having issues.

What software has issues with Lion? I might know of some tips that could help. Personally, I moved from Lion to Mountain Lion as soon as I could. Lion has too many issues itself. But I do keep a couple of older Macs to run stuff that can't be run without Rosetta or other "legacy" systems.

Separate but valid question: Searching Mozilla Support on this very forum yields no answers as to where to download the full version of the program itself, around which this entire forum has been set up with all the numerous questions in it about the program... yet there is no answer on how and where to actually *GET* the full version of the program... this strongly suggests that the forum administrators went out of their way, to make it difficult to impossible for users to get the FULL VERSION of the program...
There are many valid reasons for needing the full version of the program, don't you think it's pretty incredible that it has always been difficult to download the full version of Firefox? The old page had it buried in between the Acholi and Xhosa languages, even though English (US) is probably needed by millions of users vs. relatively few for Acholi and Xhosa... Millions of users had to go though gymnastics of finding it buried in between all the worlds languages with every consecutive version, and now they completely removed it even from that page...
What is the the reason, and you have to agree there is a reason, for Mozilla preventing us from having the full installation file? And what is the reason, even when the full installation file existed on that page, for this forum to make it almost impossible to find that page when searching the forum, or the entire internet for the official full version download page?

As for blaming this forum for anything having to do with the "all" download page, you must be kidding. That page was always available from the main page using a link that said Systems & Languages and as the link says, it lists all the available systems and languages.

run Software Update to apply the required updates (updater 9.0.5 required)
You will be able to use it during 30 days and with a bit of luck, the long awaited new version will be available.
