When trying to download Oracle 10g R1 x86 for Linux, when trying to login after clicking on the file, I get bounced to the following page:

I never thought BC 2.1 was an improvement or needed.
I have a couple PCs running Windows and those have gotten what I consider to be support: chipset, BIOS, and I can update drivers as needed, or roll-back.
Why in heavens can't they just post the latest, not require pre-installed older version (junk), and stop worrying about... older Mac OS owners forcing someone to buy Snow Leopard to get 3.x or somehow force install Boot Camp off Apple OS
X DVD; just post motherboard drivers for various models etc like anyone else.

Do as it says - try again later. If the issues persist, then something is wrong on your end, but without proper technical information nobody can even begin to guess.

Told to upgrade to 31.6 but download page gives me 31.5

I get a pop-up telling me TB 31.6 is available, with a link to the release notes:

But when I click on it, it takes me to this page:

and its download link is to 31.5:

Now, I'm a sophisticated user, and know how to copy a link into the locator bar and edit it, so I change the 5 to a 6 and get the 31.6 package. But your less-sophisticated user is going to be unpleasantly surprised.

I don't usually use that link; here in Linux my experience is that it either gets me a 32-bit edition (I need the 64-bit build), or runs afoul of the elevated privileges needed to update or install the program, so I generally go direct to the ftp download site:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/
(I've assumed all this happens for me because I choose to download from the mozilla site rather than accept what is offered via the linux repositories.)

Pages gives an error, 'Cannot read file' , when trying to open pages document

I recently deleted a pages file. I recovered it using disk drill and now Pages refuses to open it. It gives me an error that it cant read the file. The file size is exactly the same as i had created earlier. Please help me out on this. This is a very important essay and i spent weeks tyiping it. The file size is about 10.6 mb with all graphics and images. Please help me out

Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Excel Options.
Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click
Trusted Locations.
If you want to create a trusted location that is not local to your computer, select the Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended) check

Click Add new location.

I fixed it myself. I accidently deleted part of the original download of firefox. I did not uninstall all of it. Then I tried to uninstall another portion of it and it would not let me. So I went to my trash can lol and restored then uninstalled and am now reinstalling and it is working Yeah. I do not know how I uninstalled part of it and not the rest. See I thought I had downloaded the wrong firefox because it was acting up on me and the website did not look right it said something about maintenance file Anyway it is fixed. Yippeee

Are you clicking "Run" or "Save"? Try clicking "Save" then running the downloaded file.

Create Shopping Page gives Javascript Error - Sun JVM in a DMZ?

We are running on SRM 5.0, with server at 5.5 and we have just implemented SP 11. Since then, our users running IE with the Sun JVM 1.4.2_10 are getting a JavaScript error everytime an applet loads on their page (in this case, it is the applet within the Document & Attachments section). Moreover, our portal is being hosted on an SSL secured server within our DMZ, in conjunction with a Provencia IDS System, Blue Coat hardarware, RadWare, ...etc.
The only way we can make that page work, is by disabling the Sun JVM and use the MS Version of the JVM. At that point, no issue with the applet on our SSL Secured Portal. Even funnier, is that when I'm calling directly the Portal Server (without the SSL proxy), even if i run the Sun JVM, I'm not getting the error. Since we have over 1000 users, it woulde be aimpossible to have all of them making that change... We need to make that work.
Have you ever experienced something like that? If yes, what have you done to fix it? Any suggestion, OSS notes

Adobe Download Assistant give me (Error 100) when i try to sign in

I downloaded the Adobe Dreamweaver trial but i can't get past the Adobe Download Assistant. Every time i try to sign in it says "Error communicationg with Adobe.com (Error 100). I can log in at www.adobe.com. Whats the problem here?

Are you using some type of a software firewall or is your password being rejected when trying to log into the Adobe Download Assistant?

Downloading books gives authentication error

When downloading I get the following error message

What does it all mean and how do I fix it. I have not had any problems before?

It's probably a firewall or something else effecting the communication between our server and your machine. Try this technote:

12002 = Operation timed out
Possibly an internet connection problem/proxy maybe - has it ever worked?

After ios5 download, sync gives me error 51, saying incomplete restore.

I keep getting an "incomplete restore" error 51 message when I sync ever since I tried to do ios5.

In that case, restore the phone to factory settings and then restore from backup.

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals.

Master + 2 table details on same page gives error

first I am using jdev + jheadstart 9.0.3
I got a master with 2 details on the same page and
this page gives me errors. I cannot update the master or
insert the master. The details fails too with insert and update.
If I change the same page property of one detail all goes well.

Yes, it is. It has to do with the way checkForChanges is called. I do not have an example available of the generated code, but the generator should have generated something like:
onSubmit = "return (checkForChanges('myForm', 'Set1') && checkForChanges('myForm', 'Set2'));"
It has been recorded as bug no 2745305.
To fix this, you must change the page manually.
