Download page is always BLANK after processing my downloads. How can I fix this?

When I download files using Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2 (and all versions previous) onto my Windows XP the "My Download" page is BLANK. I then must search where the file has been downloaded. I don't want to search where it is ... the file should appear in the My Download window. CAN THIS BE FIXED?
I'm getting more and more disappointed and discouraged with Firefox :-( Does anyone know of another browser other than IE?

Hi travelery2k, you're right, the file should be listed in that window.
There are a few possible causes for downloads vanishing from the window after completion, or possibly not appearing at all:
(1) Setting Firefox not to remember any history
You can make sure you are storing download history by checking this dialog:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy
If you have "Never remember history" change to "Use custom settings for history".
Make sure "Remember my browsing and download history" is checked.
(2) Setting Firefox to always start in private browsing mode automatically
This is set in the same dialog as above. Make sure "Always use private browsing mode" is unchecked.
(3) Conflicting add-on, such as a different downloader
You can check your extensions here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

I can't remember how I got the software on his computer, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't through migration assistant.
I was looking into doing an uninstall of InDesign and a fresh install. However, I initially downloaded the CS5 suite digitally and I can't find out how I am able to perform a fresh install of InDesign. I face same problem, after creating Adobe ID and after installing Creative Cloud app, the installed Ps and Lr can't be launched... Lr at all, no action, but Ps works for a few seconds. I could achieve "system info" from help menu as follows:

I am also having a similar issue. I used Adobe Lightroom and my whole display goes black. Even my laptop screen and the lights on the keyboard go black. I can still hear the fan running, so I assume it is just the display. This is my first Mac and I have had nothing but issues. I think I am going back to Windows after this.

It is a sprint issue and other carriers have that same problem. I get multiple copies of texts from other carriers all the time to my iphone. It isn't the iphone, it is the carrier sending the text message several times because they haven't received and ack message from the recepient.

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

I had the same problem. In the end I downloaded it manually. Here's the steps assuming you are on a Mac and have an iPad Air (Wifi). If not you can find other restore links here.
In the terminal (it kept failing to download in Safari):
curl http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS7.1/031-4521.20140310.D2Ydl/iPad4,1_7.1_11D167_Rest ore.ipsw >>~/Desktop/iPad4,1_7.1_11D167_Restore.ipsw
Once the file has downloaded, move it to ~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates/
Quit and relaunch iTunes.
Should now work for you.

I installed ios7 and thought it was an upgrade. When I tried to restart it, it asked for a passcode. I have not used the passcode thingy for over a year so i typed it in and after several tries it says that it is disabled. How can I fix this? I need help, I am now in the middle east and not near any Apple service center. I need my iPad.
I hope someone from Apple sees this and has a remedy. I have itunes on my PC but I have never backed up the ipad or even connected it to the PC.

I just did the about:config....I do not have dom.ip.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll; I do have dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.np2pstub.dll;false. Also, my timeoutSecs is set at 45. I also noticed that a few of the things are listed as userset and the others are default. What should they be? I don't recall setting anything.

Open Computer / Myl Computer, right click Driver C and click on Properties - how much free hard-disk space you have on the drive?

Problem solved, I had to resync my phone with iTunes.

My web pages text is blurry some letters are faint how can I fix this

the text on my web pages has some faint letters in the words and others there is only half the letter appearing.

A couple of things.
First, do you have ClearType turned off at the system level? Firefox doesn't have it's own version of ClearType built in, unlike IE which will apply ClearType even if you turn it off at the system level.
Second, Firefox sometimes displays ugly fonts if it is incompatible with your graphics card drivers. The workaround is to disable Firefox's use of hardware acceleration. Here's how:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
This takes effect after you exit and restart Firefox.
Any difference?
