Download past purchases
I would like to share something that I'm not happy with and to know if there is a way to fix it.
First of all, I have changed my Apple ID from US to Brazil. On Apple's page it is written: "If you changed your Apple ID from one country to another, you can’t download items you purchased in a previous country."
Let's get the Camera+, for example. I bought this app before changing the country of my Apple ID. When I search for this app on App Store, it shows its price for me, $2.99. But when I click to buy, I see this message: "This update is free because you own a previous version of this item. To get this update now, select ok. You can update this software application for free. Would you like to update it?".
So, I am still able to download items I purchased in a previous country. It is good! Really good, but what bothers me is that it shows the price instead of showing the purchased item button/icon. I don't remember all apps that I have dowloaded in my life (I know that is a lot), and sometimes I don't download them because the price is there. Only when I decide to buy and click to buy is when that message is shown. So, I don't know if I will be charged or not before trying to buy an app.
Even when I dowload the app again in the new country, this behaviour keeps going on.
I would like to fix it. I would like to know what the apps are that I am able to download for free, like Camera+. I don't want this situation any more, not being able to know if I will be charged or not. Any help? If not, Apple fix it, or at least, let me buy the app again in the new country and stop with it.
Thanks.
Apple are not here, these are user-to-user forums. If you want to leave feedback for Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/
You can view your account's purchase history via your computer's iTunes : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
Apps are different to other content types, you won''t be able to redownload any music, film or TV programmes without re-purchasing them.
Whether you can redownload apps for free will depend upon whether it's the same app e.g. if the developer has removed and replaced it with a new separate app, or potentially if the app has changed developer.

You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days
I have a mac which my fiancee and I share. There are 2 separate accounts and 2 separate apple ids used to buy different music (i.e. we have 2 separate iphones and music collections).
I received the following error (see uploaded image) which states that, "you can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days".
Now, when I sync my iTunes and iPhone only some music that I have previously purchases is affected. For some reason they failed to sync with my iPhone and become unavailable in my iTunes ("file cannot be found"). When I deleted the record I saw that it became available for download in iTunes and then discovered this issue.
I have legally purchased the music and just want to be able to sync the files legitimately. It just seems very restrictive to say that you have to have 2 different machines for every account (i.e. you cannot have multiple users on a device with their own accounts which each have their own Apple IDs).
MikhailHi
No - that is the issue - both my husband and I use the same computer and want to be able to use our individual Apple IDs so can access our download content e.g. I-books that we have purchased through our other MAC devices such as I-Pad. In the past, we had four people using one computer with no problem regarding Apple ID. In the newer operating system, we are now restricted to one at a time - it means one of us is blocked out from accessing our content for a period of 90 days. Have you any suggestions on how we can both use our individual Apple IDs with the same lap-top? We have set up discrete accounts so we log on to the computer individually. Many thanks for any help. -
So i signed into my other itunes account to download some purchase i had made on that account, went to sign back into my new account and download purchases i had made on my iphone adn it tells me "You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 90 days.". This is a shared family computer with multiple Apple IDs being used on it. Not cool apple. This needs to be figured out. Not acceptable for families that have more than one apple ID to have to wait 3 months to download old purchases. Get real. Any way i can 'override' this?

I just updated to itunes 10.3 & iOS 6.1 and I cannot download a song to my library! I get the error "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. You can download past purchases on the computer with just one apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 75 days." WHAT??
I've never had problems before - my husband and I have used the same library for years. My daughter also has her own Apple ID... are we going to have trouble with that, too? Actually we have 4 Apple IDs - somewhere around 8 Apple devices... this is a huge issue for us... HELPJust to be clear - I just bought a new song and can't download it into the library because of this error message.

Since my daughter burned a CD from my computer using our shared libraries I cannot play my library. This pops up: "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 88 days." I can get as far as viewing my library but listening is denied by this pop-up. Can anyone help, please? I just noticed my (this) computer is not showing as registered to my account. Hmmm....a clue perhaps?
Do you have a question?

Is there a way to get around the pop up, "this device is already associated with an Apple ID. You can download past purchases on this device with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This device can be used with another Apple ID in 13 days."Someonehelp please!
What exactly are you trying to do?

Why when I try to download songs onto my iPhone from my iPad, it pops up and says "This device is already associated with an Apple ID, You can download past purchases on this device with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this device with a different Apple ID for 90 days
(Note, mine says 28 days because I have been waiting for a fair bit for this to go away.)You can't keep changing the ID you use with iTunes, you are limited to once every 90 days.

I purchased an album and didn't receive all of the songs. I have iTunes 9.2.1 so I can't use the new 'Downloading past purchases" feature. How do I get the other songs? Using an Iphone 3Gs
Look under the Store menu in iTunes on your computer for the "Check for available downloads" command and run that. You may find the tracks there to be downloaded.
If not, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department from their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form, or an "Email Us" button) and explain the problem to them.

I bought a Christmas video on my Apple TV in my bedroom for my kids to watch. I tried to download it to our computer in the living room, but I got a terribly inconvenient message that says I have to wait 30 days before downloading it, because my husband downloaded something with his account-REALLY?!
Is there a way around this?
30 days from now, my kids won't be as interested in The Grinch who stole Christmas.
Is the only way around this to buy it twice? Or buy through Amazon Instant Play?
There has to be a way around this- it seems so silly- why would I buy another video through Itunes, if it's better to buy on a disc, so that I can watch it in multiple rooms?
Message reads exactly "You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 30 days."
Please tell me I am doing something wrong, and that it is possible for my kids to watch the video I purchsed in our bedroom and also in the living room if they prefer. Thanks! You can try contacting itunes store support to have it reset. It's not gauranteed though because account association through computers and devices can only be switched every 90 days.

Help is needed i payed a lot for my purchases !!!
You can use multiple AppleIDs to purchase new music but you are limited as to how frequently you can change authorizations for re-downloading past purchases. It may well be a measure to deter piracy by stopping a group of people from going around to a friend's computer and downloading purchases on the other person's computer. It is easy to avoid by making sure you have backup copies on drives at home so you never need to redownload anything.

What is going on with my apple ID. I only have one, the iMac is only associated with this ID, yet i get this message after evry thing i try to download from the store......You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 88 days.
Hello BW1968,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4627
Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.
Best of luck,

Hello all, I have seen this error over and over... "Bad PBR Sig" and I have yet to find a way to fix it. I am installing Solaris 10 on a brand new disk. When the installation asks me, I tell it to use the whole disk for Solaris. Call me crazy, but I
