Hi everyone.
I need download Predictive Workbench, but I can't find this software on Page SAP. Could everyone help me to said me, where I can downlad this software Predictive Workbench.

2. In tems of system architecture, apart from Clementine server, do we also need to setup BOE XI3.1 server?
If you want to get data from Business Objects Universes then you will need BOE XI3.1 installation set up. If you are not using data from Universes then you don't need a BOE install.
3. Where to store the universe for PW, CMS&Input FRS? If universes are stored in BOE environment, what kind of configurations are needed in Clementine server and client in order to use universe?
Universes are stored exactly as they would be if you are using Web Intelligence. That means that you will need a BOW install with a CMS, Input and Output FRS and Web Intelligence Report server. In order to get the Clementine server to use universes you must have run the integration kit intaller (BOBJ INTGR SPSS CLEMENT XI3.0 for XI 3.1 BOE) on the Clementine server.
5. Can all universe design technology (ie. derived tables, contexts, row level secuirty etc) use in PW universe?
In general, the Universe node in Clementine consumes the same SDK as the Web Intelligence clients (the ReBean SDK). Therefore, any functionality that you design into a Universe will be work in Clementine. You will need the XI 3.1 version of the integration kit to use any prompts or filters created in the Universe.
6. Is any service/processing related to Clementine server if just use query panel to get data sets via universe? Where will be the queried data set stored?
For Universe data the Clementine server will suck a copy of the data into its local cache and do any processing of the data on that copy of the data. If you are using Clementine in client only mode (i.e. not connected to a Clementine server) the Clementine server component is infact embedded in the client, so the data will be stored in a local cache on the cleint machine. Because of the way the Web Intelligence architecture works, when you retrieve data through the Universe node in Clementine, in addition to the Clementine's copy of the data, there will be a copy of the data held on the Web Intelligence report server as well.

Please visit help.sap.com and select 'SAP Business Objects' in the gray banner. Then select on the left 'All Products'. Might take a while to load the list of available documents, but you should see a dropdown box called 'all products'. Please select 'Predictive Workbench' and a list of available documentation is presented.

Reg: Getting started with Predictive Workbench

Hello All,
I am a newbie to Business Objects.
I have Business Objects XI 3.1 installed. I am using Web Intelligence Rich Client to create reports.
I just checked that Predictive Workbench is a tool which can be used for statistical analysis. This will be helpful for designing reports.
Can anyone tell me,
1. Where can I get Predictive Workbench 3.1
2. Do I need to install any other component/add-on with it
3. Also some good tutorial or something about using the Predictive Workbench 3.1 for reports.

you could find all the document related to predictive workbench :
Go to > [SAP Help Guides|http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/] > on the product section select predictive workbench > below click on selected platform (XI 3.1).
Under above mentioned docs , you could find the workbench package which need to install with the BO Xi 3.1.

Universe Node connectivity issues in predictive workbench

Hi all,
I have a problem and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
I am using the business objects plugin within predictive workbench(PW), I am using the enterprise login to access the Business Object server from within PW. When I add a universe node to the stream and start to work with the node I intermittently get errors stating that there is a problem with the 'createDocument.API', 'cannot initialise report engine server' amongst others.
The only way to solve this connection issue and be able to use the universe node again is to restart the BOBJ service via the SIA.
When these errors occur I am able to use Webi to carry out reports within BOBJ, this points me to the universe node.
Predictive workbench is accessing data via a Business Objects Universe Node.
Has anyone else had similar problems and if so do you have any advice?

We had not been provided with all the licenses, after much investigation added the next license and this solved the issue

Cannot find server error trying to download Migration Workbench

I've been trying to download OMWB for the last 4 days, from Oracle Migration Workbench Downloads / Release 9.2.0.1.2 for Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000/XP page.
Keep getting 'Cannot find server' and 'Page cannot be displayed' errors in Internet Explorer.
Is this the correct URL:

I downloaded and used the previous version of OMWB. Was very satisfied with it. Unfortunately, I had to rebuild my hard drive and lost OMWB.

I suggest that you retry, maybe there was some network glitches... If you follow the links from OTN you should be able to download no problems. Did you try the split downloads as an alternative?

Cannot download Migration workbench

Hi,
I'm trying to download the migration workbench. I login, fill out the survey and then the link it provides me with just cuases a 404 Page Not Found error. I have tried several times without success to download the product and would greatly appreciate some help.

Same problem...and I am getting hacked off with having to fill in the survey every time I want to retry!!
Looking back this is a common problem with this download...PLEASE FIX IT!!!!

Are there any problems with the Server? I'm not able to download the Workbench, even though I'm a registered user.

Migration Workbench

I was able to Download Migration Workbench with no problem. The problem comes in during installation. According to the info on workbench, it specifies that you can migrate to 8i and/or 9i. Do you have a version of Migration workbench that will migrate Access and Sybase Apps to 8i?
We are using: Oracle 8.1.7 on Windows 2000
Error Message: "Oracle Migration Workbench 2.0.2.0.0 must be installed in Oracle 9.0.1 home"

What this message really means is the following:
If you have an Oracle9i installation you can install the Oracle Migration Workbench into that directory, OR you can create a new directory and associated Oracle Home and install it into that directory.
Therefore if you have Oracle8i, install the Oracle Migration Workbench into a new Oracle Home.
The Oracle Migration Workbench does support the migration of non-Oracle databases to Oracle8i and Oracle9i.
And yes we will be changing the message! :)

Problem migrating MS Access to Oracle 8i using Oracle Migration Workbench

Downloaded Migration Workbench. Ran setup but it says that the Migration Workbench must be installed into an Oracle 9 home. I though it would work with Orachle 8 (according to the documentation). We obly have ORacle 8i here.
Does anyone know away around this?

the workbench just needs to be installed into an Oracle 9i home or a new ORacle Home. It will still work against an Oracle 8i database.

Issues opening Workbench

Hello -
We are just getting started with XMII....we recently installed version 12.0.2 Build(88). The problem that we have is that whenever we try to execute the SAP xMII Workbench from the Data Services option - we get prompted to download the Workbench.jsp - the workbench never opens?
We have been able to configure SAP Servers and data services on this server.....but we are unable to even open the Workbench.

We have Netweaver installed on a Windows 2003 server machine (SP2) and JDK 1.4.2_12 , MII 12.0.2 (build 88)
We are facing very similar problem ..Not able to open the xMII workbench..where a Window pops up asking to open the Workbench.jsp file.
I have two questions
Any guideline on Java (JDK)version specific to MII within the Netweaver components ?
if we upgrade JDK this to newer version ..what is the procedure and would it affect the other components of the Netweaver ?
Please guide on this issue

Can't download OMWB - need it now!

I've been trying to download OMWB for a week. I fill out about 5 pages of survey and get a dns error on the actual download page. We called last week and were told that it would be up today, which it isn't. A follow up call today to support was incredibly unhelpful, telling me that there was no support for OTN and she didn't know who told us that it would be up today.
Any idea on when this will be available? Or suggestions on where else I can download it from? The project is getting behind due to the unavailability of this tool.

If you are still experiencing download issues, even with the privacy settings on your browser set to accept cookies, it may be a timing issue when accessing the download site. The Oracle Migration Workbench Downloads page can be accessed via the following link: http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/migration/workbench/index.html.
If you are unable to download the tool from the above link, I would suggest trying one of the following sites and hopefully you should be able to successfully download the workbench:

EXCEPTION : MySQLSourceModelMap.mapUserSystemPrivileges(): [POL-5228]

Hi all,
I just downloaded Oracle Workbench Migration specially for MySQL 5. omwb_mysql5_beta.zip
I tried to Capture Source Database from my localhost mysql server.
I created a dummy database with a single table and a column.
However during capturing i encounter this error Capturing Exception [pol 4005]
null class object is not allowed.
Later on when i expand the source model, i get a series of errors. Failed to get primary keys...Failed to get foreign keys.
I went to check the error log.
I found this:
EXCEPTION : MySQLSourceModelMap.mapUserSystemPrivileges(): [POL-5228] syntax error
Can anyone enlighten me what could go wrong?

This is a known bug. It will be fixed soon, current work around is that you don't use the default repository that comes with the OMWB. Try to connect to a existing Oracle db for repository. We'll also notify you here when the bug is fixed.
