Download previous versions of Acrobat 9 Pro

I purchased two licenses from a company called SoftwareKing.com.  This was about a year ago and they sent me an email with the product keys as well as links to Adobe's site to download the trial version.  At the time this downloaded version 9 just fine, but now the same link downloads version 10 "X".  Of course the software key doesn't work with that version and I can't find a link to download the older version 9.
Am I out of luck?

I agree, as I said I have 10 licenses that are now worthless unless I pay out for the upgrades.
I am not trying to get something for nothing as I have paid for the licenses and I feel it comes under a public service. Keep up the good work!
No money in the budget for that!.  Heck even MS lets you download old programs from their sites

  • Having trouble downloading trial version of Acrobat X Pro (still)

I am having trouble downloading a trial version of Acrobat X Pro. My computer won't let me save the file anywhere: I have tried the desktop, my user, and various other folders, but the dialogue box continues to tell me to "try another location". I am using Windows 7 64-bit. Browser is Google Chrome. (I tried Internet Explorer - no luck at all).

    Hi,
Can you retry using  a different browser. Also, you can read these document for more solutions?

  • Downloaded trial version of Acrobat XI Pro. Attempted to launch but dialog box indicated that the version of AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows (check if 32-bit or 64-bit version is needed). I'm running Windows 7 Pro

Could not launch a trial version of Acrobat XI Pro due to compatibility even though I'm running Windows 7 on a 64-bit machine. Any ideas why not?

Acrobat XI is a 32-bit process, but should run on a 64-bit machine unless something is set to lock out 32-bit processes.

    Hi hgratz,
Considering 'invalid serial number' error for Acrobat 9, I would suggest you to please refer the KB doc link mentioned below:

Let me know if that helps.

My apologies for not supplying the rest of the information required. I will go through the information provided in the link. Thank you.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.
The previous version of Acrobat is showing 8 from CS3 Design Premium.
I did not get a chance to try another DVD drive or load onto another machine to test the disk. I will also have to note all of the errors from the reinstall failure.
I do see the original install folder created - C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0

  • Trial Version of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended Installation Problems

I just downloaded a trail version of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. We are trying to install this version on Windows Vista Enterprise which is being vertualized with Parallels version 3.0 on a Mac O/S Leopard. We get the following errors; Main_File_Version Error, Product_Registry_Parant Error, and Product_Registry_Key Error. Does any know if Acrobat 9 will work in this type of environment?

I cannot speak for the trial or Vista, but Pro 9 Extended works well
    with XP SP3 under Parallels.

The Education version isn't any different than the regular version.  Try downloading it from here and then apply the serial number you were given.

  • Does a trial version of Acrobat X Pro needs a license key to operate it?

I just downloaded the trial version of Acrobat X Pro but when I downloaded a PDF sent to me by e-mail, it opened it with the Acrobat X Pro, then a window opened requiring a License key number, if not I had to purchase the product, o cancel the operation. Therefore I could not print the PDF that I needed! Does anybody know where I can access the license key # for a trial version?

Trials have no serials. Refer to this:
    Adobe trial software expired early
And if all you need is print a PDF, the free Reader will do that just fine.

I have had a trial version of Acrobat X1 Pro - I have decided not to buy at this stage - for some time it has been conflicting with opening PDF docs after "saving as" from word 2007 - I uninstalled Pro X1 and now when I "save as" PDF from word 2007 to PDF it will save the document as a PDF but will not open the document to display after publishing - I have to got to where the file has been saved to view the new PDF document - this is really annoying - do I have to delete adobe reader and reinstall it - adobe needs to look at this conflict with acrobat pro as I have even gone it to properties and tried to have adobe reader as the default PDF program - the main issue is that I cannot view the PDF after publishing it from word 2007
