Download, Print Link on the Dashboards

Hi All
Usually the requests on the dashboard comes up with Modify, refresh, Print, Download options. If we want to remove the options like Print, modify, etc., What is the procedure to get rid of those links.

Reports as links in the Dashboards

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where I need to arrange the reports that are on the Dashboard as a link. For example I have 3 reports like this.
Sales Report Invoice Report Purchase Order Report.
Now I want to arrange these 3 reports on the Dashboard as Links
Sales Report
Invoice Report
Purchase Order Report
Let’s say when the user click on the Sales Report link it should show the complete report with the prompts. Is there any way to do that in Dashboards. Please Help.

If you want reports as link in dashboard then drag report to dashboard and go to its peroperties.Select Link in a dashboard option.You can add all the reports in dashboard and choose this option.This will make reports to appear as links.
If you select any value from prompt and click on go button that prompt values will be applied as filters to these reports.

Removing the "Powered by Oracle" Link in the Dashboard

Hi,
I am Hemanth, I am customizing the dashboards as per the client requirements.
I want to remove the Icon on the Dashboard which is in the OBIEE Dashbaord as " Powered by Oracle" which has a link to Oracle site.
I also want to include the Footer instead of "Powered by Oracle"
Please, let me know the steps to remove that and include the footer.

Dashboard link in the dashboard drop down

Hi,
I had a dashboard called Demo. I need that Demo to be in Dashboard drop down list which will be in the bi page top right corner beside HOME and CATALOG.

R u Looking for this feature: If a User has 2-3 Dashboards in obiee and want to display the same in drop down menu items.
Example: Subject Area: HR , Dashboard1: HR DB1, Dashboard2: HR DB2
But, You Want to show like this: HR Dashboards (Drop Downs - HR DB1, HR DB2)
This Feature is controlled by parameter in Instance config file.
<DashboardMaxBeforeMenu>2</DashboardMaxBeforeMenu>
The above code groups all the Dashboards as Menu items which are formed from Common Subject Area.
Add the above code in instance config file.
After Adding the code - Restart the Services and check for the results. It worked for me, so it should work for u if I'm Right.

All the toolbars are 'grey' bookmarks disabled, no back button, no history etc. No address bar, no links from the dashboard? What has happened?

I let someone use my Eee Pc 901, LINUX and since then nothing has worked! suspect that when she cleared her history she wiped everything. Have tried to upgrade Firefox, possibly made things worse? been told only way out is a ??'hard reboot'
You'll gather I'm pretty clueless.
Any suggestions before I buy an IPad!

the OTHER thing is that all my information seems to still be saved. i am still logged in to some mostly used sites that i need a login. i'm assuming that's due to firefox saving my info. why is everything else gone? i essentially can't use the browser at all this way...... i can but not for long. i can't make new bookmarks and i can't go forward or backward.
is there any solution to this?? or will i forever be unable to use firefox?

Missing Print Link

I'm using Apex 2.2.
I already found how to add this. But when I enable printer friendly mode, it works fine, but values in text fields are shown between square brackets in printer friendly mode. Anyway to avoid this?

It does not appear possible to either open all of the (or selected) links on a page in tabs nor print all of the pages in tabs (like a book).

In applications that use a browser control or open web pages, there are frequently (nearly always) mechanisms to open multiple links on a page in tabs, print all (or selected) tabs, or print all linked pages (the latter is pretty much universal as an OS call). Additionally, like Links (in IE) or Bookmarks (in Mozilla) can be 'named', so can 'tabs'. Some editors (and applications) permit tabs to be 'named'. As I recall, in an editing mode, Netscape used to do this, just like you could edit a page. For authors and researchers, this would be invaluable primarily because neither are frequented by earnings capable of affording those spendy apps like Adobe or Corel that do that, because programmatically it is reasonably simple to maintain an association of symbolic links, and that Mozilla could immediately become the browser of choice as IE can do nothing of the sort (well, may be new IE can).

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.
If you need to open a local SWF file you will need the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.

Clicking on a link sends the screen to the dashboard

WehnI open a page and click on another link on that page, it goes to the 'Dashboard'. I return to my page and click again and it goes where I requested. Later, on other pages, it will go to the dashboard again. This happens a lot. I am on an iMac with 10.9.5. I hope 'Yosemite' solves this problem.

Are you having that problem from Search websites? Or, the Search bar in the Navigation toolbar in Firefox?

I deleted the HP Smart Web Printing (but kept the link) and now I don't know how to get it back.

I had 23 Microsoft updates and 12 did not update. I am 73 and not very computer literate. I finally (accidentally) discovered that, at least part of the problem, was that I must have installed Explorer 9. It told me to update to a new driver/software. I was trying to do it step-by-step and that's when I deleted the Smart Web Printing. On the second step of trying to fix it, it would not update because it says it doesn't support 64 bit (which I have). It only supposed 32 bit. HELP. I can't figure out how to get my smart web printing back. Also, I don't know how to get my system back to a lower Explorer since I apparently have 9.

HP no longer offers the Smart Web Print software available for download since the change to Smart Print. Rather than trying to get around this maybe we can look at at least resolving the issues you are having.
For one the Smart Print software can be found here

Available on the link are step by step instructions on installation and setup of Smart Print, including videos on how to use Smart Print so you can become accustomed to using it.
Now before we get into that what you will want to do is verify that you are truely running IE9 64 bit versus the 32 bit. HP Smart Print only supports 32 bit so we want to make sure we are using that.
To check the version of IE you are running follow these steps.
1. Launch Internet Explorer
2. Click on Help
3. Select About Internet Explorer
4. If the version of Internet Explorer has 64 bit next to it then you are running the 64 bit version. If it doesn't say then you are running the 32 bit version and are good!
If you are running the 64 bit version we next need to see if you already have the 32 bit version on your computer.
1.Click on Start
2. Select All programs
3. Look for Internet Explorer (64-bit)
Just below that entry should be another entry called "Internet Explorer" This version of Internet Explorer should be the 32 bit version and you can verify this by repeating the before mentioned steps.
Once you verify that you are running the 32 bit version of IE then you can proceed with installing the Smart Print software.
Also note a few other additional places to check and run IE 32 bit are below:
Go to start->all program->accessories, IE 32 bit version should be located here
You can also find the IE 32 bit version in this path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe."

No link in the 'submit' button to log in for Print to Go

Hello
I've finally downloaded Print to Go after searching through the forums of why it was hanging on the download, but now when I go to use print to go it says 'log in' but the 'submit' button doesn't look like it has a hyperlink to send me to the logged in page.
Any ideas on what I should do please!

Verify the BlackBerry ID on the device matches the BlackBerry ID used to print from Print To Go on the PC:
From the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options > Device > BlackBerry ID. Verify the Username matches the email address being used to log in to Print To Go on the PC.
If the BlackBerry ID does not match, then log out of the BlackBerry ID from the PC by performing the following steps:
From the Print To Go web form click on the link titled Log in using a different BlackBerry ID located to the left of the Print button
Log in with the correct BlackBerry ID username and password
If printing continues to fail, please try rebooting your PlayBook by holding the power button and selecting Restart. Verify you are re-connected to Wi-Fi before attempting to print again.

Why is it so hard to find the download link for the Creative Cloud desktop app?

So - I have a subscription and I needed to move the location where the files were on my computer. The easiest path is to uninstall and reinstall. So I used the Adobe uninstaller tool (which, even though I told it to uninstall everything, does not uninstall everything). Then I rebooted. All Adobe CS creative cloud desktop apps are gone. I log into my Adobe account online, and the only thing I can find are downloads for downloading "trials" of the adobe apps - this is whilst being logged in. And to download the trial it starts to ask me questions about how I will use it etc. so I didn't bother.
When I go to the page that has what ostensibly looks like it will lead to the Adobe creative suite downloader/desktop tool, it takes me to the list of ALL adobe desktop app "trials".
I finally found it by hunting around in the help screens and Google for five minutes, but it's still obnoxious that there is no link to directly download the Creative Cloud desktop app here, which is where it sends you:

Instead all you see are a bunch of "Trial versions", even though these are included with the adobe creative cloud subscription.
So I don't really have a question, more of a rant at the stupidity of the way this is set up. When I'm logged in, I should be able to access the downloads, or at least the tool that lets me download the downloads, without spending time hunting around for it. It's ridiculous that it's not set up that way currently.

Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

How to remove Print pdf link below the reports?

How to remove print pdf(only pdf. i need html) report which is available below the reports? I am not asking to remove it from the print icon at the left bottom of the page. I need it to be deleted from the link in the middle of the page below the report.

Then
Remove The below Tag From the control messages.xml
