Download Reports of a Dashboard Page

Hi,
I have a requirement to download all the reports published in a page in to excel in a single download button. I know to download report by report by giving report links for each report. Can you guys help me to download all the reports published in a page?
Phani.

Phani,
We don't have that option to download the entire page into Excel. PDF/HTML is possible .Think about JScript (not sure)
thanks,

  • One download link for 2 diffferent reports on a Dashboard page Obiee 10g

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where in I have 2 different report in 2 sections on a Dashboard page. Is it possible to have a single download link so that the user downlaods the 2 reports by clicking on a single button. At present we are having 2 download link and the user has to download twice for 2 different reports.
I have to implement this in OBIEE 10g.
    Thanks,
    Krishna

    Hi,
By implementing briefing book method you can achive it.
    steps
    1) Create briefing book and add your two reports into that briefing book
    2) save it your briefing book and then add it your dashboard page

  • Downloading Reports from a Dashboard

In normal reports you have the option to download any report to excel for example. In a dashboard you only have the "Printer Friendly" option. I noticed in the pre-built dashboards that each individual report has a "download" feature, but when creating reports for my custom dashboard the "download" or "printer friendly" option isn't shown for each report. Does anyone know how to add this feature to my reports?
    Thanks,
    Brent

    Hello Brent
I think you'll find this option when you design the dashbord and include each reports in it.
In the dashboard design page, on the report box, you have click on Properties > Report Links (in the middle of Display Result, Show View and Modify Request). You'll here be able to specify if you also want the refresh, printer friendly and/or download options.
You'll have to do it for each report you include in your dashboards.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Hide Dashboard Pages Conditionally

    HI ,
    I have 3 dashboard pages page 1 , page 2 , page 3
    and i have a prompt called SERVICES in page 1 which has values s 1 , s 2 , s 3 ....
---- here if the user selects service = s1 he should be able to see pages 1 ,2 and 3
but if he selects service = s2 or s 3 .... he must be able to see only page 1.....page 2 and page 3 must get hided.
Please help me in achieving this.
    Thanks very much.

Hmm, the only way to do is put all the reports on the dashboard page and add the logic to the Answers Requests and Create a No Results View and just display nothing if it doesnt display anything, Hope this works

  • Downloading entire Dashboard page

    Hello Guys,
I have a dashboard page with about 6 reports and I need to download the entire dashboard page. I know to report links for individual reports but I want to know if there is a way to download the entire dashboard page at once (into one excel sheet)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what you're envisioning when you say you want to download an entire dashboard page into Excel, but consider that a dashboard has many elements outside of just the "6 reports" you mentioned. Also, are the reports just tables or are there charts and conditional formatting (e.g., green, red, yellow balls, etc.)? Any of these features would make the download look ugly regardless of how you do it, but if you insist, here are a couple of options:
    Option 1
    1) Click on the dashboard print icon and select HTML.
    2) Save the file in .mht format.
    3) Open up Excel and navigate to the file.
    4) Select the file.
    Option 2
    1) Click anywhere in the dashboard and click CNTRL-A and then CNTRL-C
    2) Open Excel and paste.
These are two ways you can have the whole dashboard in Excel.

  • Download link to export several reports in a dashboard at once

Hello Gurus. When you create a dashboard with a report, the Refresh, Printer Friendly and Add to Briefing Book links are created automatically with icons on the bottom, left hand side of the dashboard. Is there a way to include the Download link as well? The idea is to have a link to export several reports to Excel at once. I already know how to add it for each report. Our dashboard has 6 reports and the user wants to export all 6 reports in one command. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    In short - No.
Asked many many many times, probably in the top 10 wish list.
If you manage to suss it out please share with everyone :-)

  • How to move the pages and reports from one dashboard to another

    hi all
can please any one tel me hw to copy the reports along with pages from one dashboard to another
    Thanks

    Hi,
Go to Administrator->Manage Presentation Catalg->Click on Group folder under which the dashboard and reports are present
1)Create one folder and copy the reports which are present in the dashboard pages you want(reports will be under some specific folder, open and copy one after the other to the newly created folder).Do this if you want other set of same reports for new dashboard that you are creating
2)Click on _portal and create a new folder(new dashboard)
3)Click on dashboad that is to be copied
4)copy the pages one after the other into new dashboard folder
If you are not keeping new set of reports then no need to point reports in pages,if reports are placed under new folder then go to each page and pull those reports from newly created folder.

  • Fit on screen all dashboard page reports

    Hi all!
I'm starting in OBIEE 11g, so I need your help!
Our issue is that we need "resize" all reports that are in Dashboard's pages as "fit on screen" mode. Now, for example, we have 4 analysis in a Dashboard's page but it page has scrolls. So we need to scroll down and right to see all analysis in that page.
There is any way to "resize" all reports and "fit on screen" that Dashboard page? I try to modify Height and Width on Column, Section, and analysis but it doesn't work.
    Any idea?
    Thanks for your unvaluable time.
    Regards,
    Ariel

    Ok guys, it was solved.
The problem was the Canvas Height and Width in Graph properties. It is set to a default value. It isn't relative, so all other objects get its size. So, I reduce that Height and Width, so all objects get the new size.
    Thanks for your time!
    Best regards,
    Ariel

  • Ability to download the whole dashboard page into MS Excel or powerpoint

    Folks,
i think this may be unique requirement or may be someone tried it,
from the Out of Box functionality, we only have ability to download the each report on a page to a MS Excel or power point
but i am looking on how to implement the functionality of downloading all the reports in the page/or the whole page itself into excel or powerpoint using click of button as we do have download into pdf/html versions.
i tried to hijack the existing pdf/html code, but did not work
any ideas/suggestions if this can be implemented or code that i can use
    Thank You

    Hi friend,
you must use BI Office for that. To install it, log on Presentation Service with your user, click 'More Products' -> BI Office. Install it, and the, open excel or powerpoint. You will have a new menu where you can download reports as you are in Presentation Service.
    Regards.
