Download selected pics from PC to iPhone
How do I get just selected pics (not sync all photos) from my PC to my phone? I've uploaded from the phone to the PC but not vice versa.
Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, at Sync Photos From, select this and then choose the folder on your hard drive that contains the photos that you want to transfer from your computer to the iPhone.

Please help...I was downloading my pics from the SD card. I then I highlighted 5 pics and selected erase, once I selected erase 20 other pics was also erase. I need to know how can those erase pics be recovered? Please Help!
You will need data recovery software. See this post:
Re: I accidentally lost 3 weeks of photos, how do I recover them?
And please send feedback to Apple: This is a bug. Only the imported photos should have been deleted, not all photos on the card. You can use this form: Apple - iPhoto - Feedback -
Downloading pics from pc to iphone
I would like to download pics from pc to iphone, I understand their should be a "photos" tab under iphone when connected to itunes. I don't seem to have one, anyone have any ideas?
There is, but I will remind you that the word Sync in the manual (P.53) means only from Mac to Phone/iPad. To copy from Phone to Mac you need a Non-Apple App, there are several available. Good Luck.

I Had my iPhone synced to a computer, I transferred some pics from computer to iPhone, computer then crashed. Now I can't transfer the transferred pics from my iPhone to another computer. How do I get these pics off my phone without losing them. Currently cannot update my phone because there isn't enough memory.

That's what I'm trying to do, get those pics off my phone, they are taking too much storage space and I can't update my phone because there isn't enough memory.
I know. That is exactly what I addressed. The iPhone is not a storage/backup device.
Have you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
You can e-mail them to yourself. -

If you have an iCloud account, turn on My Photo Stream to make new photos appear automatically in iPhoto on your device; or turn on iCloud Photo Sharing to have your shared photo streams automatically appear in iPhoto.
Sync photos from your Mac o to the Photos app on your device using iTunes. If you don’t have iTunes on your computer, you can download it for free.
Import full-resolution photos from your Mac directly into iPhoto using iTunes file sharing. Your photos appear in the iTunes album in iPhoto.
Mail you photo and save it to the camera roll from Mail.
Sync photos and video clips using iTunes
Connect your iOS device to your computer.Note: If Wi-Fi syncing is on in iTunes, you don’t need to connect the device to your computer, but they both need to be on the same Wi-Fi network, and the computer needs to be on. For more information on Wi-Fi syncing with iTunes, see your device’s user guide.
In iTunes, select your device and click Photos at the top of the window.
Select “Sync Photos from” and select the photos you want to sync to your device. On a Mac with photos in an iPhoto or Aperture library, selecting an album or event organizes the photos as an album or event in iPhoto. You can sync your entire library or select specific albums and events. On a Windows computer, selecting a folder organizes the photos as an album in iPhoto.
If you want to sync video clips, select the “Include videos” checkbox.
Click Apply.
When the sync is complete, click next to your device, and disconnect your device.
Import photos using iTunes file sharing (you need iPhoto on your iPhone to do this)
In iTunes, select your device and click Apps at the top of the window.
Below File Sharing, select iPhoto, and click Add.
In the window that appears, select the photos you want to import, and click Add.The photos are transferred to your device and appear in your iPhoto library the next time you open iPhoto. Photos transferred to iPhoto using file sharing appear only in the iPhoto library, not in the Photos app. -

You should be able to view them natively within iOS. If you can view them in safari and want to save them, then download iBooks or search for other apps that can view and save them.

When I try to download my pics from my camera with the iPad connection kit, I get a message saying that my device requires too much power.
What model iPad? I upgraded my mini and used the SD card lightning cable last night to transfer raw photo images without any problem.

You really need to read the manual.
Open itunes, connect ipod, go to photos tab, select what you want, sync.

So I synched and downloaded all my pics from my iphone to my mac, and now for whatever reason I cannot actually see them. I go into iphoto, itunes and cannot access them. I see them in itunes and yet do not have th option to view. Any ideas...?
You can't open iPod touch, iPad and iPhone apps on the Mac. They use different operating systems that need different applications, so it's not possible to use your iPhone apps.
Instead, you have to look for other applications in the Mac App Store or the Internet, because you can install applications from wherever you want -

Importing pics from computer to iPhone
I have a first generation iPhone and have tried to import a file of pics from my computer TO my phone (via iTunes). I select the folder and iTunes appears to be importing the pics...but it isn't. There are no new additions to my pics on my phone. Is anyone else having this problem? Do I HAVE to use iPhoto to do this, maybe? (I'd prefer not.)
Page 11 of the manual:
"Photos Pane
You can sync photos with iPhoto 4.0.3 or later, or Aperture on a Mac; or with Adobe
Photoshop Album 2.0 or later, or Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 or later on a PC. You
can also sync photos in any folder on your computer that contains images. "

I cannot dowmload my pics from my flash drives into Photoshop elements 11. Each time I try it gets to about 15% and then Photoshop crashes. It is not the flash drives as other programmes on my computer open them without a problem. Please help
Hi Neale,
That was my first thought as well, I do know that Photoshop sometimes gets a surge of shite to the brain and refuses to download the movie formats.
However after your mail I went again, through every individual pic/, about 1500 of them and yea, you were right there was one bloody movie file.
Thanks so much really appreciate your help.

Download select songs from iTunes Match
I am an iTunes Match user. On the computer with which I sync my iPod nano, I do not want to hold my entire library. However, I would like to download select songs and/or playlists from the cloud to transfer to my nano. Is there any easy way to do this?
What happens if you click the cloud with the down arrow icon next to a track?
