Download shared pictures from web galleries

Hello everyone,
I shared some of my pictures to friends using this guide:
Share and view feedback on a photo gallery in Lightroom | Adobe Photoshop Lightroom tutorials
Now they are able to see the pictures when I provide a link but not able to download this pictures!
I think this isn't a feature of this website, but I would be happy to learn a trick how to download all pictures.
I am looking forward to some suggestions :-)

Welcome to the discussions. Whilst connected to the Web, in iPhoto '08 you could try clicking on the iPhoto menu > choose +Preferences... > MobileMe+ tab > in +Check for new photos >+ choose +Manually >+ click +Check Now.+

Hi, I had a problem with my computer and had to reinstall OS. I had a one-year old back and recover most of my files except some photos. I posted them as photo galleries using iWeb. I would like to know if I can restore the photos from my galleries back into iPhoto.

How to download a file from Web-URL to local HD

Hy,
I am trying to download a picture from a specific URL such as
"http://ia.imdb.com/media/imdb/01/I/66/16/02m.jpg"
to my local HD, but I only have experience in downloading text based files, such as HTML using the BufferedReader method and a URL object to read the text based HTML file and PrintWriter to write the file on my HD. I have a hard time finding a good tutorial on this, so I would be more than happy to get any help from you guys, the cherry on the cake would of course be a code sample for demonstration...

Use BufferedOutputStream and BufferedInputStream rather than
BufferedReader and BufferedWriter.
Should be the same otherwise.

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

was to do this? The whole sync operation seems cumbersome and only allows you to upload photos from your MAC to your iphone - but that is the
exact opposite of what I need! Also I have many pics so I don't want to use iCloud. All I want is just to take the pics from iphone and download
them to my MAC? Am I asking for too much ? Can anyone help me?

Yes, there will be wear and tear over time. It also is possible to force a card into the slot crooked and damage the socket.
Are these much of an issue?
In my opinion, no. I change memory cards fairly frequently (mostly Compact Flash, which are probably the most easily damaged), sometimes use 12 or 15 memory cards in a day's shoot and have been doing that shooting digitally for ten years... And have never had even one card wear out or managed to damage a card or socket myself.
Note: I have pulled a card out too quickly, while it was still writing, and lost about 1/3 of the images on the card... Once! I also have had one "bad card" right from new, from a major manufacturer. Three other identical cards are working fine.
I do have one older DSLR with a "bent pin" in the Compact Flash socket.... But I bought it that way for $15 in hopes of fixing it. Unfortunately I think the particular pin that got bent managed to short out some of the other electronics in the camera, so it's probably not practical to fix (makes a nice paperweight). I've seen other cameras, particularly those using Compact Flash memory, with bent pins. Some were pretty easily fixed. Others needed a new socket or more.
Just looking at the posts on various discussion forums, I suspect it's a much more frequent issue for the USB cable or the USB socket in the camera to wear or get damaged. Plus camera batteries are only good for a certain number of charge/discharge cycles (I've heard 400X is typical, but don't really know).
So personally I'd be more concerned about directly linking the camera with the USB cable and leaving the camera powered on while downloading.... Feel better just pulling the memory card and using a card reader.

When I download my pictures from my camera to the computer, they will not open up in raw, only jpeg. I contacted Canon, and they told my to try something but it did not work. How do I get my raw pictures to open up in CS 4 on my new computer from my new Canon 70D?

You will never be able to open your raw files from your new camera in CS4.
You need version 8.7.1 of the Camera Raw plug-in (ACR), which only runs in CS6 and higher.
You need to locate, download, install and run the free, stand-alone application Adobe DNG Converter on each batch of raw files from that camera, in order to convert them to raw DNG files that can be subsequently opened by ACR in CS4.
Remember you need to launch and run the DNG Converter on each folder (not files) containing your Canon raw files. THe DNG Converter doesn't do it magically for you just sitting on your HD.
Or you can upgrade.

You don't "download" anything, and you don't put anything "on Photoshop".
You save your image in your scanning application using whatever file format supported by Photoshop you want (PSD, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, etc.), and save it in whatever folder on your computer you want.
Then you use Photoshop to open your image file wherever you put it.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

I download my pictures by:
!) Connecting my iphone to he computer.
2) It will open a window or I will go to my computer and select iphone device.
3) Open up Iphone folders and download.
When I do that, I see a windows icon, with what looks to be a hard drive. And when I click on it, it leads me back to my desktop. Right now, I only have one. I know by tomorrow I will have more. It just keeps spreading.

The ONLY apps that can be installed will be found in the iTunes app store.
You cannot load any other apps at all.
