Download size required to run Skype

How much download size is required to run Skype for conference call in video-audio or just audio.  Is the size a function of how many are participating.
I normally run Skype from my dsl at home or ethernet at library.  However, I will be in a location that I can recieve a wireless hot spot mobile modem.  Since this is a special event, I do not want the subrscription.  Howver, the temporary service is rated by the download capacity.  I want to know how much capacity I need.

If you have a 3rd or 4th gen ipod touch, then you can update.  Open itunes.  Connect ipod.
If you have a 2nd gen, then you cannot update.

  • "Download Size Require"

I don't get it... I try to download an application for my DROID BIONIC but it just says "Download size require" Can someone help me? Also should I change to a RAZR?

    Classy;
It's the "Data Saver" that's giving you that message.
Go to Settings - Battery and Data Manager - Data Saver
    And uncheck "Data Saver".
That will allow you to download files from the Marketplace when you're NOT on a wireless connection.
(I normally keep Data Saver enabled, then uncheck it when there's something I want to download.)

  • I am trying to install itunes after downloading Windows 8.1.  I get an Windows Error 2 message--  "Apple Application Support is required to run itunes helper."  Any suggestions?

I am trying to install itunes (64 bit) after downloading Windows 8.1 on my HP Laptop.  I keep getting an error message Windows Error 2--"Apple App;ication Support is required to run itunes helper"  Does anyone have any simple suggestions for a user with limited knowledge of Computers?

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, see if iTunes will launch without the error now.
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

I have a new iTouch. I'm having trouble downloading iTunes. I keep getting the error message: "Apple Application Software was not found. Apple application support is required to run iTunesHelper. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again. Error 2." I have uninstalled and tried installing again and get the same error message. What do i need to do?
    Lg

Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

how can I tell the download size of a movie, in mb, before I purchase it? specifically, American Horror Story II. Need to see if i have enough storage left for download. thanks.

When you select the film, the size of each episode is under the titile.
    Example:
    1. Welcome to Briarcliff
46minutes, 1.98 GB for HD format, 622 MB for SD format.

  • IWeb 08 and Photo Download Size not sticking to Original (Full Quality)

I am using iWeb 08 to post personal webpages and photo galleries but even when I select *"Original (Full Quality)"* under Photo Download Size in the inspector it slips off full size and make smaller pictures. I almost always want to offer full resolution image to my friends and family. Is there a way to make this work more reliably? Is it being fixed?

I found in this iWeb test pertained more to the image pixel dimensions than the jpg compression level of the downloadable file as you found out.
    Happy New Year
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Download size and install size of Build 9879

I am a little short on harddisk space. How much space is needed to download and update to build 9879?

RE : How much space is needed to download and update to build 9879?
The download size will be between around 2 or 3 GB depending upon the computer architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) and system language.
RE : I am a little short on harddisk space
Have you deleted the Windows.old ? You can save up a huge amount of disk space.
    What is windows.old ?
Windows.OLD folder is often created during an upgrade of Microsoft's operating system from one version to another. It contains files from your previous installation of Windows, which were either not required or can't be used with the new version.
You don't need to keep these unless something has gone wrong with the upgrade and you need to roll back to your previous version.
    How to delete Windows.old ?
Most people will tell you use the built-in Disk Cleanup application.
I find it a whole lot more easier and actually faster using Ccleaner. Ccleaner is a free program. It is widely used and recommended.
How to use Ccleaner to remove Windows.old ?
Open Ccleaner > left side, make sure you are at windows tab > scroll down to Advanced > check the box " Old Windows Installation" > right side, click Analyze > when done it will tell you how many GB of space will be removed which
means how many GB you will get back for use > click Run cleaner. That is you are done.
Screenshot shows what I had saved from previous OS installation.

So when I plugged in my iPhone 4 (iOS 7.0.4), iTunes told me it needed to update to the newest version... so I did. • Access 2013 Installation - Cannot continue unable to download a required file

We have working installations of office 2013 - Home and Business on two machines and we are trying to install Access 2013.
Both machines are running Windows 8.1
We have purchased 2 standalone physical media of Access 2013 to install on the machines.
We place the disks in the drive and get a small indicator that the disk are being read and then nothing.
We tried running  \office\setup32.exe -v (we have 32bit office version already installed) and get message saying. "we're sorry, we can't continue because we weren't able to download a required file. "
We are  connected to internet and i have tried disabling the firewall and antivirus but get nowhere. I do not wish to uninstall office unless i absolutely have to. Any suggestions please.

Are these machines on a domain?
It my be possible that your WSUS does not have the files available. If so add those files to the update library or remove the machines from the domain, install and then re-add to domain
*which is not recommended but is a possible solution if nothing else is available
