Download songs from my ipod into iphone
I have my iTunes recognizing my iPhone now. When I touch the iTunes icon it just open iTunes in general as if I would buy a song. I just want to download my current songs onto my phone. Feasible?
Be sure to download any purchases from your phone to iTunes, then sycn them from there to your other device.
Or wait for iOS 5 to make it all much easier

Hello everybody,
I would like to copy all the songs from one Ipod into another. All the songs are into my Itunes account, I tried to drag and drop the songs from the old Ipod to the new one but it doesn't work. Is there a way to do it ?
I share one Itunes account with other people from my family and one person would like to keep the same songs on the new Ipod as the ones which were on the old one.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
YanHello Chris,
Thanks for your answer. I was hoping for an easier answer. Too bad there is no drag and drop solution, it would have been much easier.
Thanks for answering so fast.
Bye.

Can't get songs from my iPod into the library on my new mac
I recently had to get a new hard-drive on my dell laptop, and iTunes was uninstalled from the computer. When I re-installed iTunes, my iPod was not being recognized by the laptop, so none of my songs on my iPod were in the library anymore.
Now I have a new MacBook, and my iPod is being recognized, but I can't get most of my songs from my iPod into the library in iTunes.
I'm sure there is an easy solution, but I can't figure it out!
Any help is much appreciated!!!If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve music files and playlists from your iPod. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well. This is just a small selection of what's available, you can also read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes
Senuti Mac Only
PodView Mac Only
PodWorks Mac Only
iPodDisk PPC Mac Only (experimental version available for Intel Macs)
iPodRip Mac & Windows
YamiPod Mac & Windows

iPodCopy Mac & Windows
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod -

Is it possable to download music from an iPod to iPhone?
No.
You either use iTunes to sync it to your phone, or if purchased from the iTunes store, you can merely download it directly on your phone. -

How can i put songs from my ipod into my itunes library?
I want to sort out all mu music on my ipod and start fresh, but i want to keep all my music. Is there a way of putting music from my ipod into my iTunes library? I understand that if there is music on my ipod then i mustve put it on there from the library but i dont think i did! It's just not there! all i need to do is transfer it from my ipod to my itunes library Pls help. Ta.
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, or iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
With your iPod connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPod.
If you had Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPod sync preferences with iTunes, after downloading a song from the iTunes store direct with your iPod, the song would be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPod with iTunes after doing so.
Manually managing music and videos is manual all the way. -
Downloading Music from an Ipod into ITunes
My hardrive crashed. Had to purchase a new one. All software including Itunes was reinstalled on the new hardrive. Obviously, my Itunes library is now empty.
All of my former Itune music library is on my Ipod. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. Download songs FROM video iPod TO computer?
My computer was off getting fixed so I downloaded a CD (not mine, so I don't have it anymore) onto another computer and then downloaded the 10 or so songs onto my iPod. Now whenever I connect my iPod to MY computer those songs show up in my library, but when I disconnect it (by ejecting it) they disappear from my library. I can understand why this is happening, but can't find anything on how to fix it. Is there any way to get these songs FROM my iPod TO my computer's iTunes library? If so, how?

Since I have the iPhone4S I can't delete songs from the iPhone anymore, which I downloaded with the iPhone. I sync the iPhone with my library. That works perfect. But than I want to delete the songs on the phone. That doesn't work. Can somebody tell me how I can delete those songs?
You have to uncheck what songs you don't want in iTunes. I don't think you could delete songs off the phone direct, unless you had I tunes match.

Hey jtom234412,
Thanks for the question. Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like your device is not detected in iTunes for Windows. The following resource may help resolve this issue:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1538
Furthermore, if your device is in recovery mode (displaying an iTunes symbol, with a plug), see the relevant information under Step 5.
Thanks,
Matt M.

Please advise what might be wrong with my WIFI connection and the app store!
When trying to download apps via the apple app store, it will take ages to pop up with the password box, and then will just time out eventually after giving the me "waiting" icon. When I disable wifi and connect over 3g the apps will download fine. I
