Download stalled

My download seems to have stalled some hours ago. The app is
Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 (Mac,English). Can I start download again and if so, where can I find it? Should I have closed all other apps first?

What do you see in the Mac App Store > Purchases section? The dl could just be paused, in which case you can resume it and carry on.
If it doesn't list it there then search your Mac for the installer incase it finished in the background and didn't start the installer automatically.
Finally, if you don't see it anywhere and you're sure it hasn't finished and actually updated without you realising it, you can email Apple's iTunes support team and they can either put it back in your download queue to try again or regrant you the download so you can 'buy' it again without having to pay.

HT202159 Mountain Lion download stalling at 53.25mb

I am running an iMac 10,1 with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and purchased Mountain Lion yesterday but the download stalled at 53.25mb. I have sufficient Hard drive space and Wifi signal but it won't go any further. I tried re-lanching the App Store, then re-started my Mac and then finally stopped the download and started again but it got to the same point and stopped.
Any help would be much appreciated as I have exhausted all avenues I can think of.

I'm another who's had the 53.25MB failure issue, and it's 99.9% certain to be a router issue. If you're in the UK then the chances are you're with BT for your broadband. As mentioned above, there is a known issue with the 2Wire BT Business Hub, see link below, and probably other routers too.

"If you want Mountain Lion, or any other large download, then you'll need to get another router, or firmware upgrade if available." That however can be a pain, and if BT don't play ball then an expensive one. There is another solution however, and one that means no contact with BT, call centres or your local PC World ...
What I did was put in an old BTHomeHub that I had lying around to get it passed the 53.25MB point, and then paused the download while I reinstalled the 2Wire BT Business Hub. I then resumed the download and the whole 4+GB was on my iMac in a few minutes (well just over the hour). If you don't have a spare router, borrow one, you'll only need it to get the download passed the 53.25MB stage. For completeness, I waited until it was at about 150MB before pausing.

Downloads stalling out

Trying to update my CC installation for Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere but the installer just stalls out when attempting, partially having downloaded the exe. I can download other installers without a problem at all - just downloaded iTunes (117MB) in a minute or two but the Adobe apps get to about 7%, 9%, etc., and just hang there. No error codes reported, so I'm stuck. I've tried various wi-fi networks, including corporate one and home one but the result is the same. Have tried temporarily suspending AVG anti-virus but doesn't seem to have an effect. Anyone else having downloading stall issues?

App downloads problems - downloading stalls.....

i am getting this almost every time i download an app. i try to download an app (it always happens when downloading an update) and the download stalls. after an initial message saying that the download is not available, it gets stuck with a black app icon and the word "waiting" below the app icon.
i've tried restoring the phone, resetting network settings. nothing helps.
if i do a hard restart while the app download is stalled, the app gets deleted completely and i have to re-download it again.
if i download an update for an app on my computer, then sync the phone to the computer, after the app download has already stalled on the phone, the app does not get updated. i still have to do a hard restart of the iphone4, which deletes the app, forcing me to completely re-download it.

I came across this issue on my iPad and iPhone today. I did some research and it was suggested that you need to change your region to wherever in the world you originally purchased the app.
This worked for me.
I had tried signing in and out, deleting apps and resetting my devices; because I had never used any Apple ID except for my own personal one, I thought that those options would sort it. I changed my region to the uk (where the apps were purchased) and now they have updated with no other issues.

We have this issue which has been reported by a customer:
"We have seen an issue where the web start client download stalls on some networks and will not complete. It seems to get partially through the download, then stall, then repeat this process and never finish. In the download screen it would say Download stalled. It would stop for a while, then start again and run for about 30 seconds and then say, Download stalled again. I let this run for some time and the download never completed."
What could be the reason for this?Any inputs w.r.t. the above will appreciated.

Downloads Stall

Over the last few days, I've begun to have a problem downloading large files from the internet. Email, Skype, FaceTime and normal browsing on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox work fine UNTIL I try to download a large file. At first the download starts blazingly fast, but then the download stalls (at exactly the same place each time). I've tried several large files from several different origins. Though the different files do not stop at the the same MB count, they all seem to hit some sort of arbitrary "cap" (966.2 mb for one; 732.00 mb for another) after which the download stalls and all internet connections freeze. I can unfreeze internet only by restarting the computer (immediately work), but starting the download again only causes the same cycle: stall (at the cap), internet freeze.
1) This happens whether on wifi or ethernet (on this machine via USB)
2) This happens with all browsers--doesn't matter still hits the same cap
3) I have tried: monkeying with the DNS, IPV6, making a "new" internet location profile, trashing all internet history (cookies, etc).
I also tried downloading and reinstalling Yosemite again, BUT--guess what--even it gets to a certain point of download, stalls, and the internet freezes.
I'm visiting family for the holidays and I wonder if there's something I need to do to configure my computer to get along better with FIOS, as I have a different ISP. But it seems very strange that all is fine until I try to do big download. And, by the way, *was* able to do a big download at the beginning of the week (several 2-3 gb each) without problem.

Ok, looks like I may have found my issue. It looks like it was an out of date ethernet adapter driver.
For anyone else that's had this issue, head to you motherboard manufaturer's website and go to their downloads section for the appropriate model.
I've only watched my machine buffer a couple 1080p YouTube videos so far, but it's looking good.

ITunesSetup.exe download stalls at exactly 3.1mb

I am trying to download iTunesSetup.exe onto my new windows xp desktop. the file stops downloading at exactly 3.1mB out of 36mb or so. Any ideas? there have also been some other unrelated downloads that have stalled. Any help would be appreciated.

HT1349 itunes song download stalled in processing stage

when downloading an album from itunes, tow songs stalled in the download process...it's been several hours and both songs are still stalled. the arrow in the top right hand corner of the itunes has a scrolling bar under it and it is scrolling. I check my itune library and the songs are in there with the rest of the songs on the album but they have a black dot beside each song.....anybody know what to do?

Downloading stalls using Itunes 7.01

I am trying to download an album having upgraded to Itunes 7.01. (6.05 worked perfectly). The tracks on the album start downloading then stall and my wireless connection disconnects, this causes all sorts of error messages. I have Norton Internet Security, but this is configured to allow Itunes, I have also tried with Norton switched off.
Anyone any Ideas why this is happening ?

Well my issue was resolved by the following:
1. I restored back to the prior build.
2. I disconnected the remote drive where the music is stored and restarted the machine, there must have been some issue with attempting to the drive (though no other program had any problem).
3. I then reconnected the remote drive, and restarted a 3rd time. So far so good

Adobe Premier Elements download stall

The installation of Adobe Premiere Elements seems to be stalling. I left it running the night before and it had stopped. I restarted my computer, updated everything, and went back through the download process from the website. It jumps to about 50% downloaded and 30 minutes to download then backs off to about 2 hours and doesn't seem to be making any progress.

I have the latest Reader installed as my default app to open PDFs on my Macbook Air, but they stall halfway through downloading. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks!
