Hi All,
I want to download the smartform from the quality system to development system but I am not able to do it. I am working on 4.6C version and there is no option to download. Download option is in 4.7 version. Could aanybody help me out.

Before upgrading be sure you do the following:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Tiger Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
Make a backup of your current system.

Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

You have to purchase them separately.

Why can't i download the new I Phone software version (4.2) to my I Phone?

Help! I have tried to do this software update about 10 times now! I have downloaded it successfully through I Tunes on it own but when i come to connecting my phone and trying to update it through I Tunes to my phone it downloads for about 11 mins, looks like it's done it and then a message pops up saying "There was a problem downloading the software for the iphone. I could not download 4.3 without gettign error 3259. I went to the Apple Genius Bar and they managed to do it. Now I can't download 4.3.2 wihtout the same time out error. I have disabled antiviru/firewall and it makes no difference. I am not inclined to go to the Genius BAr again because they waster 30 min of my life by not dealing with it at the appointed time. I just tried to update Firefox by downloading the new 3.6.14 version, but got a warning from my Norton Anitvirus that it contained the Heuristic virus. Has anyone else encountered this?

Norton Antivirus prevented download of the latest Firefox update because it contained a Heuristic virus. I'm not sure if this is the name of the virus, but Suspicious.Cloud.5.D was mentioned with this notice I got from Norton.

Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

iPhoto, newest bersion download is taking over 24 hours, with 34,000 photos. I have iPhot page open with the wheel turning. Message says "updating".

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, connect your device and see if your backup is working now.

Has firefox abandoned system 10.3.9? there seems to be noplace to download the installer for that OS version.

I think the last version I had for 10.3.9 was version 2.00.20.

When you hit the "Install" button it swings you back to make you agree to the terms again. The program never gives you the option to "Run" or "Save" it.

Works for me if I start a Windows version of Firefox 4 or Firefox 6 (Aurora) via Wine on Linux. So the Firefox version doesn't seem to be the problem. I can't test it on Windows, but does work on Linux with Firefox 4.0.1 if I override navigator.platform to Win32.
