Hi There,
In order to download / install Captivate 8 32 bit, you have to download 2 files ( .7z and .exe ) at same location/ folder.
Once both files downloaded completely then you have to run .exe file and it will extract .7z file first and then it will initialize the installer. You do not have to open .7z file.
Let me provide you the download links of Captivate 8 32 bit :-
Open the link mention below in any Web Browser say Internet Explorer
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=captivate
Sign in with your Adobe id and Password, then you will be redirected to download Web Page of Captivate 8.
Do not click on Download. Kindly let that window open as it is.
Now Copy and paste the link mention below in the new tab/window of the same Web Browser in which you have opened the above link.

Then Save the file.
Do the same for the link mention below and save this .exe file as well.

Make sure both the files (.7z and .exe) save/download at the same location/folder.
NOTE: Wait for both the files to finish download and then run the .exe file.
Once you run the .exe, it will start extracting the .7z file and will provide Captivate 8 folder on your desktop which will contain setup.exe. Run this setup.exe to install Captivate 8.

Can't Download Safari for Windows from a Mac

Hello All,
iTunes is no problem, but Safari and QuickTime won't let a Mac download the Windows versions. With iTunes, one can click a link to go to the Windows version, but there is no link for Safari or QuickTime. I have a stand-alone Windows XP SP3 computer. Although I don't use it on the Internet, I test web sites locally on it, so I need Safari to ensure compatibility. Does anyone know how to get to the Windows version from a Mac?

I'm not sure you can; it's determined by your op system. Even if you could load Safari for Windows on a Mac, you'd actually have to be running Windows--and if that were the case, I suspect you wouldn't have had to post the question.

However this is not true I comply with all system requirements.
My processor is 64 bit (core i7), version 10.6.8 (snow leopard) and memory 4GB

Reformatting an iPod for Windows with a Mac

I have a 4G iPod that I'd like to use as a portable HD. My school only has Windows machines, so it obviously needs to be Windows formatted. Unfortunately (heh) I only have access to Macs at home, and cannot use the school's PCs for this. Is there any way I can use my Mac to format my iPod for Windows?

No.
You either need to reformat the iPod for Windows (using a Windows computer) as you previously stated or use some 3rd party software (which is not free) like MacDrive or XPlay2 that allow Mac formatted iPods to be used on the Windows platform.
Neither of these options would appear suitable given your circumstances.

Every time I try, it takes me to the Mac page with only options to download for Tiger or Leopard.

I have a dual boot Imac going online on Mac partition only.
I want to download, onto the Mac OS partition, the Adobe Reader that is compatible with Windows XP so that I can transfer it to the partition using Windows XP.
The Adobe Reader download site recognizes a Mac OS and offers me only the Reader compatible with Mac OS. (I specifically choose NOT to go online using Windows XP part of the Imac.)

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Method one which has already been described is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. Choosing the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" allows you to create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod ( for example, around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB Mini or Nano). Not to sure where to ask this but I was curious if i could download the adobe master suite i have for windows onto my mac via an online download. I'm not to sure how this works in this case or if i have to re-buy my adobe programs but any help is appreciated, Thank you. I also have with me the serial number and box if need be.

serial numbers for master suites are platform specific. ie, you either have a window or a mac serial number.
