Download Video Helper For Safari

I'm looking for a similar download video helper that Firefox offers for free, for Safari. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is the Free  iTube Grabber which can capture almost any audio and/or video stream (it says here) but only works with Intel Macs.
http://itube-grabber.en.softonic.com/mac
There is also iTubeX which allows you to download videos (Flash, HTML5 and others), .mp3 and .swf files from almost every website as easily as possible:
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/27604/itubex
Lastly: How to download Flash videos and play them in Quicktime using Perian is explained here:
http://perian.org/#watch
It's the video at the bottom of the page.
Last but not least (as some of the above may not work with Snow Leopard or Lion) there is the 'pwn trick':
For example, the full youtube site for your movie is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC2XIGMI ... e=youtu.be
As soon as the movie starts, pause it and add 'pwn' in front of the youtube part of the url so it looks like this:
http://www.pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=bC2XI ... e=youtu.be
Hit Return and then follow the instructions.

  • What Download Video Program for Mac is as Good as Orbit is for Windows??

12/29/2008. Friends, I have searched and searched and searched for a video download program for Mac that will download videos from almost any website besides just YouTube and such, but to no avail. The latest OrbitDownloader 2.8.1 for Windows is excellent and will do this for Windows on a PC. What similar download video program for Mac will perform as excellently or almost as good?? I've tried Firefox's Video Downloader Helper but can not get it to work. I've tried Mori but don't know how to get it to work. I've tried Perian but again don't know how to get it to work, I just get a window that says "Uninstall." I will really appreciate finding such a program for Mac, for my iBook G4 which has Leopard OS X 10.5.4 and WiFi. Many thanks. Chuck Y., Chicago

1/2/2009. Thank you all for your help. I love this wonderful feature I find about Apple Discussion Forums, so many friends. I did not know about Perian's instructions until you informed me. [www.perian.org/#watch] I'm glad that I gave the example of "POV Inheritance," because it is somewhat complex. First a person must locate the POV Inheritance website. For Perian, to go into Windows Activity at that point shows only that line. No one told me that I must click the wee arrow to the left of that line. Then a long drop list appears. But none of those help. So one must return to and on the website click "Watch the streaming video online" or ". . . now." That brings up another sub-website on which a person must click "Watch the Full Film." Then one can choose between five "chapters," and go into Windows Activity again. Then appears "net + public affairs player: video." Then one clicks the small arrow on the left of "net+ public affairs video" and sees 17 selections. All except one are small kbs. One has a large megabyte file. Select and Command + C that, and then go into Windows Downloads and Command + V [paste]. Then the download begins. And the person must do that for each of the five chapters. The other option is not to click any of the "chapters" but instead click "Watch the Full Film," and then click Windows Activity and then the small arrow left of "net + public affairs : video" and on the drop down list appear, among many, the five separate chapter files [the ones with large megabyte files], and continue as per a few lines above. The Perian procedure is simple. Getting to the line to be downloaded, in this case, is more complex, and so a good example from which to learn.
RealPlayer 11.0.0 [or 11.0.1] and its RealPlayer Downloader work very well too and may be simpler.
Thank you all and Happy New Year cruising with your Apple Macs. C. Yopst, Chicago

  • How to download the help for SSDT-BI

    Hello,
how can i download the help for SSDT? Because our developer PCs don't have direct internet access.
I found the iso for Visual studio, but this not for datatools/ SSIS Components
    greetings
    selcer

    Hi selcer,
What version of SSDT and SSDT-BI do you need to download?
In  Visual Studio 2013, you can check for the latest version of SSDT via the following method:
Go to the Tools menu in Visual Studio 2013, select “Extensions and Updates”. On the left of the window there is a section named “Updates”, and under that is “Product Updates”, then look for the Microsoft SQL Server Update for database tooling and click update.
And to install SSDT for Visual Studio 2012, you can use the SQL Server 2012 Installer and Select SQL Server Data Tools during setup.
However, SSDT-BI is a distinct toolset from SSDT or the SQL Server database tooling in Visual Studio 2013, it includes BI project authoring tools and project templates for SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, you can download it from below link.
Download SSDT-BI for Visual Studio 2012
Download SSDT-BI for Visual Studio 2013
There are some articles about SSDT and SSDT-BI for your reference.

  • Help for safari ios7

Does anyone know a link for help with Safari in the new ios7? Is it me or is there very little documentation on this and the rest of ios7 (except for all the pretty Apple stuff)?
I particularly would like to find out how to create a new Bookmark. Everything I do seems to create a Folder...
    Thank you,
    Scott

Apparently that icon is the new Share icon:
    AirDrop in action
To use AirDrop, tap the Share button (which looks like a square with an arrow pointing up) when viewing data you can share in AirDrop.
Sorry-since it had an upward pointing icon, I stupidly though "Air drop."
    Sorry,,,and thanks again.

  • How can I view download videos formatted for Internet Explorer on Mac?

    Hi everyone
I just got a MacBookPro and need to be able to view videos that I used to view with Internet Explorer... I tried to download IE for Mac, but that doesn't exist any longer... I'm new to Mac and worried as these videos are part of my work...
    any suggestions???
    Thanks for the help!!

What the **** is Rosetta? Can you provide some simple instructions, please? Why does Apple make things so difficult? I'm also trying to SIMPLY browse to a shared printer on a Windows XP box (HP LaserJet 1020) and can't install this. Even with what research told me by installing HP's 1022 Mac driver. I don't care what anyone says...Microsoft makes things easy to use and my 3.2 HT SATA 1GB DDR2 computer beats this iMAC hands down when it comes to speed.
    Thanks...Steve.

  • Can't download video - HELP!

i have a jvc gz-hd7 and a macbook pro with imovie 08. i have been trying like crazy to get the video's to download from the camera to my mac. i open up imovie - get the download screen on the computer - don't get the screen that says playback to pc on the jvc like some of the other discussions have said.
i only get that option on the camera when i connect via usb. if i connect via firewire i get the import in imovie. if i connect via usb i get the playback to pc on the camera but imovie doesn't see the camera at all
i went thru the process of doing the import to imovie via the firewire - played each video on the camera while imovie had the screen that said it was importing - but after hours of waiting for it to go thru all the clips - NOTHING imported.
i can't find the software disk that came with the camera and i bought my mac after i got the camera so i didn't have it installed on my mac.
i tried mpeg streamclip but that doesn't seem to work unless either.
anyone know what i'm doing wrong??
i really need to get these video's off the camera -- i've copied them to my mac via the usb but i can't play them and i don't want to delete them from my camera until i know i've got a usable copy.
any suggestions?? my camera is almost full and i want to get these guys off so i can record my daughter's first day of school.
    thanks

  • Downloaded videos play for 10 seconds then iTunes shuts down

Have downloaded 2 videos from Music Store. They work well on my new iPod 30GB, but will not play on my PC. Reasonably good spec PC - AMD Athlon XP2000+ processor, 512 RAM, 128MB Graphics RAM (nVididia GeForce fx5200)and I have no problem playing DVDs on my PC. The video clips play for 10 seconds then iTunes shuts down giving my a Windows error message. Any thoughts?

Since downloading the video from iTunes Music store my songs downloaded from Nusic Store will no longer play either. It prompts my to enter my password (which I have checked and changed) but they still will not play

  • Why won't my Air download Adblock Plus for Safari?

It appears that Adblock Plus now has a Safari version but when I go to the official site and try to download, I get an error message saying the file won't download.  I tried going over to Chrome with the same issue (Adblock Plus for Chrome).
The authorized App Store adblock program *****.

Safari on iOS doesn't support plugins or extensions of any type. Whether Chrome does I can't say, but there's no version of Adblock Plus for it nor any of the other iOS web browsers.
    Regards.

  • How do I download video app for ios 4.2.1

I deleted the Video app from both iPod Touch (8meg 1/2 gen) and my computer and I can't find it in the App Store.
    TIA
    Erv Faulmann

You can't delete or hide the Photos app.  It comes with the iOS so it can't be downloaded.
    Try:
    - Using the Spotlight search. Maybe yu jus can't find it.
    - Reset the iPOd. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
-Restore yu riPod. First from backup and if problem persists, to factory defaults/new iPod.

  • How to download an update for Safari 1.0.3?

I have the original Jaguar edition of OSX with Safari 1.0.3. A couple of travel websites tell me I need to update to Safari 1.2 in order to access their website (cheaptickets.com for example). I found the download for 1.2, but I don't know what to do with a download once it appears on my desktop. Can someone walk me through it step by step. Will it automatically replace my current Safari? Do I put the download in a folder somewhere? As you can tell, i don't know what I'm doing. Thanks so much!!

Safari 1.0.3 was the last version of Safari that was available for OS X 10.2.8. Versions 1.1 through 1.3.1 are supported by OS X 10.3.x and Safari 2.x is only available for OS X 10.4.x. So, you would have to upgrade OS X to be able to use a newer version of Safari.
You might want to try Firefox and see it that browser works on the site.

  • Cant Download Flash Player for Safari/Chrome/FF

Trying to download the correct version of Flash player however as i attempt to download the download grinds to a halt and times out, this is a 2.4mb file which should take no more than a few seconds, not a few days!!
Is there a mirror site i can download from or can someone advise me of where to get it rather than me sitting having no flash?

All 3rd-party download sites eventually redirect the download back to adobe.com or macromedia.com I have found out.
All I can offer you is this alternate download page with installers for all supported platforms.
