Download .WAR/.EAR file from IAS 10g

Hello everybody,
I need to download .WAR / .EAR file from ORACLE Enterprise Manager 10g-Aplication Server Control.
I found my application there, it says: Path: ../applications/consoleDW.ear Where is the root of this path?

Assuming you are using the OC4J instance called home, then it'd be $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/applications.
If you are using an OC4J instance with a different name look in $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/<name>/applications.

in the server it will be present in the following location
EAR files not deployed in Portal. So we can't download from the Portal. We can download from Portal Server Path only
\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<instance no>\SDM\root\origin\<abc.com>\appl\global\<wd component name>\LOCAL\

Deploying EAR files in IAS 6.5 [Sun One Server/iPlanetServer] ?

Hi All
I am presently having difficulty deploying an EAR file to IAS 6.5.
We have used the modular deployment method previously,
"iasdeploy deploymodule", with seperate EJB/WAR files being deployed to IAS seperately.
This always succeeds.
Now we wish to bundle the whole lot into an EAR file to simplify our deployment process and use "iasdeploy deployapp". However this always fails.
We have cross-dependencies inside the EJB's. For instance ejb-b.jar contains a class that ejb-a.jar uses.
With the previous modular deployment we had no problem.
We deployed ejb-b.jar first and then ejb-a.jar.
But with the EAR deployment they are deployed in an incorrect order, even if defined in the correct order in the application.xml deployment descriptor.
i.e.
<module>
<ejb>ejb-b.jar</ejb>
</module>
<module>
<ejb>ejb-a.jar</ejb>
</module>
This causes the "iasdeploy" command to fail due to java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError exceptions.
The deployment of the ejb's is not alphabetical though.
It seems to be random.
Not reflecting either the alphabet or the application.xml order.
My question is how do we ensure that ejb's are deployed in the correct order when using the "iasdeploy deployapp" command in IAS 6.5? Can we control the EJB deploy order?

We want to simplify the existing deployment process and tearing up the existing EJB's and putting them in the IAS CLASSPATH is not simplification.

I had the same experience as you did, but in my case it was a big fat pdf that Mail insisted I had to download before I could view it. As happened with you, I saw the file actually downloading, and after a time I was able to view the pdf. It's been my assumption that the pdf is still somewhere on my iPad, but I have no idea where, nor how to delete it if it is still there.

I actually had no clue what the core problem was caused by. So it's Windows itself...that helps some.
I'll resubmit there. It might actually have saved time for it to simply have been moved to there instead of off-topic, though I suppose you have to follow protocol.

Download a text file from JSP (Urgent Please!)

I have a issue with this JSP, I need to download a txt file from my webserver to the pc client, the page shows the dialg box but appear the filename (list.jsp) of my jsp instead of the txt file.
If I click the save buton save the list.jsp page; if I click in the open buton, then appear again the dialg box and now appear the url (download.jsp?filename=...) and if I click in the save button now I can save my txt file in the local pc.!!!!
Any ideas ??

Maybe try no quotes around the content disposition header?
Also, I'm not sure that application/download would be the best content type, maybe "application/octet-stream" instead. You should also probably explicitly set the Content-Length header to the file size.

I want to download an xml file from one webpage through BPEL. I am using jdeveloper 10.1.3.3 to create a BPEL process and Adapters.
Is there anyway to download the xml file from the site through FUSION middleware.

what do you mean download, is it a site where you click a hyperlink then down load the file.
This is not possible as this is invoked by human intervention. SOA suite is invoked by events. If you want to perform this kind of function you would need to create a jave service to perform this.
Is there any posibility that there is a FTP link that you could use?

I want to download an xml file from one website through BPEL. I am using jdeveloper 10.1.3.3 to create a BPEL process and Adapters.
How can i download the xml file from the site through FUSION middleware?

Another option would be to write a smal Java class the uses URLConnect to connect to the URL in question and use WSIF to bind it to the BPEL process.
Just google for sample code.

I am not getting anywhere with deploying my application or
applet.
I have set up my bc4j project. It contains all my VO info,
links, application module. (proj a)
I then have another project with DbInfo in it(has all my rowset
info), Multiple Frames, and my Applet.java file.
Actually I have an Applet.java file and a Application.java file
because I was seeing if both/either worked. Anyway they seem the
same, except for that extra window that comes up when you run the
applet.
I follow the steps in the oracle directions (from earlier post).
And all seems ok. But at ---->

I have no HTML file associated with my applet, at least that I
know of.
So do I need to create one, or should it of been done

my project. Applet or stand alone application is what my first
choices have been so far. I have read that there is some issues
with applets being served from a different server than the
database. So a stand alone application was my front runner, but
I haven't gotten either way to work yet.

iWork (no 's') for iOS & iWork for Mac have not gone away.
iWork.com (beta) (also no 's') is going away the end of July. iWork.com (beta) is/was an online method of sharing iWork files with other users & never moved out of beta in 3+ years. It is a completely different entity than the iWork apps & is not & never has been necessary for the iWork apps to function.
A Numbers document, as well as Pages or Keynote documents, cannot be opened on a PC. You must first export them to a file that a PC can use. For Numbers that is generally Excel. In Numbers on your iPad tap the wrench & then tap Share & Print & choose Excel as the file type.
As for transfering a file from a PC to an iPad, I'm not sure as I don't use a PC.

What is the file format of the vector you downloaded? Custom Shapes have a .PSP extension, and are placed according to this table.
Preference filenames and locations in Photoshop CC
They will then be loadable from the Custom Shapes drop down — click on the cog icon > Load shape > Find your downloaded vector.
Once placed in the image, it will appear as a Shape layer, and can be edited with the Path, and Direct Selection tools (black and white arrows on the toolbar)

I would like to create a workflow in Automator or a script in AppleScript (or a combination of the two), that opens Safari to a specified page and downloads an excel file from this page and saves the downloaded document to my desktop.
Is this something that be done? If so, how?
I have so far been able to build a workflow in Automator to open Safari and added an AppleScript that takes Safari to a specific page that has an Excel document.
I can't figure out where to go from here... Any help would be apprecitated.

Is there a simular web page you could point to if not?
Would there be a copy of the file on an FTP page. This would be easier.

the curl is a terminal command ( Unix ). It allows you to read a file off of the web.
man curl
provides cryptic information on the commnad curl.
press the space bar to advance a page.
press letter to q to quit.
What you may have to is to read in the web page as a text file. Go "fishing" through the page to find the excel file you need. Once you find the file, you can use curl to read the file.
curl is a very full featured command. (read complex to figure out ).
It is easier to diagnose problems with debug information. I suggest adding log statements to your script to see what is going on. Here is an example.
