First for a given material check if there is any entry in marc where pstat CA 'S' ( Maintanance status for ware house.).
if entry exists in this means ware house management view exists for this material. now fetch material and plant from marc passing matnr where pstat ca 'S'.
for above entries fetched check in mlgn by passing material number. if entry exists ware house is extended for that plant and ware house number.

WMS 2011 on Ncomputing L300

Hi,
I am setting up a test center using a Host PC with WMS 2011 and Ncomputing L300 devices as my access points. Downloaded WMS 2011 evaluation copy and purchased the product key and 50 CAL through Volume Licensing.
My troubles are:
I get a message telling me to update the display drivers for the hardware. Where do i get display drivers for WMS 2011. My Host PC/Server is HP pavilion Elite e9250t and the HO website has no drivers for this OS.
Second Message is for me to have a usb hub with a keyboard and mouse attached to it be connected to the computer. I am using a LAN setup, so cant figure out why i am being asked for USB station/hub.
Thirdly and more confusing is another message telling me there is a keyboard and mouse attched to the root hub that i should unplug.
License- i have purchased the product key(WMS 2011 Premium) and CAL licenses. Unable to activate the software online and the number +22520310500 given for Rwanda is not going through.
Any help in resolving the above issues will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for bringing this over to the forums - I'll start by asking a few questions to clarify some things.
1. The display driver update is by far the most tricky part of setup. It looks like your host PC has a variety of options for graphics cards - do you know which one is in your server? These drivers (they have to be the 64-bit versions and support extended
desktop) are typically available through the manufacturer's webpage; that is, the graphics card manufacturer, not the PC manufacturer.
2 & 3 I believe are related. For your host PC, do you have a keyboard/mouse plugged directly into the computer? WMS 2011 doesn't support locally directly connected USB stations by default, because often a PC will have multiple ports and
it is usually impossible to tell which ports are connected to each root hub. The reason it would be asking for a USB station, even in a lan environment, is because it expects that even the primary station where you are going though setup will be connected
to a station hub. Before setup initially runs, the keyboard/mouse plugged into the computer would be okay, but after OOBE runs it will give the error message that you are describing.
If you don't have a USB hub that you can use to get around this, you CAN plug in a PS/2 mouse/keyboard in, and that will work.
4. Have you tried activating MultiPoint through the normal activation process? You shouldn't have to activate it online. If you open the start menu and right click "Computer", you should be able to activate Windows MultiPoint Server at the bottom of that
screen like you would a normal Windows activation. If that is what you did, I'm not sure what the issue could be, and will look into more possible causes.

Case Issue in Mapviewer WMS GetMap request

I've been working with Mapviewer 10.1.2.0.2 for a couple weeks now and have used the wms_getmap_request using the XML API to get layers from various WMS servers including USGS. I am interested in getting images specifically from wms.jpl.nasa.gov as they seem to have better global coverage than USGS which is primarily interested in the US. I believe that the wms.jpl.nasa.gov is a non compliant WMS server because the REQUEST=GETMAP name pair in the url created by Mapviewer using the wms_getmap_request fails while using REQUEST=GetMap works.
Here's and easy test: The URL in Example 1 fails while the Example 2 URL returns an image.
Short of asking Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory to get a new wms image server, is there a workaround for this that would force the url request to use the mixed case version of the value instead of the all upper case? From what I can tell they are a leading source of this kind of information.

Since MapViewer is a component of Oracle App Server, any MapViewer patch will have to be part of an App Server-wide patch, which is out of the control of the Mapviewer team (schedule wise).
We are however preparing for an early access release of MapViewer 11g, which will be available for download on OTN late Janurary 2006. That version will fix this issue (and also provides a ton of exciting new features).

I need to download responsibilities and then its will need to migrate in PRD using fndload.
in my case, i have more 50 responsibilities. i want to download all responsibilities in one shot using FNDLOAD commnad. same way to upload in other instance in one shot.
Is it possible to download/upload more than one AOL object like Repsonsibilities,menu, function, lookup, flexfield etc using FNDLOAD in Oracle Apps R12.

EBusiness 11i interface to Click Commerce-WMS (Oracle DB 8.1.7.4)

Hello there,
We are implementing Oracle ERP and need to interface it to our third party WMS system (Click Commerce back end Oracle DB 8.1.7.4).
Currently we are using an in-house build ftp application to download/upload text files between our legacy ERP system (to be replaced by Oracle ERP) and WMS.
I heard about all kind of interfaces but can't really say which one is appropiate for our environment.
Any advice would be helpfull.

dbconsole is new feature in 10g.
Before 10g, you have java based dbastudio or so. I am not 100% if 8.1.7.4 has it but the functionality and performance of java version is pretty lame.
It's never gain the popularity as dbconsole after 10g.

If you are already EDI capable, we will coordinate with your technical staff to determine a testing plan. What is the flow of EDI?
The flow of EDI depends on the sophistication of your systems and your EDI software. EDI programs that interface with your internal systems are preferred over software that requires re-keying of data. Embassy Software specializes in seemless interface between EDI and your back office systems. Using a purchase order as an example of a business document your customer would send that PO electronically (850) to you. It could be sent either through a VAN (Value Added Network) or through an FTP server. You would take that 850 and convert it either into and ODBC database, a flat file or XML document to be imported into your Order System with the use of EDI Software such as PassportXchange.. There isnt a T-Shirt sizing available for a Solution Manager system per scenario usage. You will have to use the sizing tool available on the url : http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager --> Check the section Starting with EHP1 and under the planning section you would find the sizing tool.
Once this tool is downloaded you can then add the scenarios that you would like to use and plan your system accordingly.

WMS 2012 and Touchscreen Support over Network Clients

Hi all,
I recently setup some virtual machines to operate with Dell Wyse E02 network clients. I purchased touch screen monitors to go with the zero clients, thinking that the E02's USB input would recognize the monitor as a keyboard and mouse. Upon testing the scenario,
I found that the touch screen capabilities do not work.
Is there anyway to configure WMS so that touch screens may be used over virtual desktops & network clients?

Geoserver WFS/WMS

Hi All,
I am a newbie to Spatial. I tried to read WFS Implementation document from OGC site. It seems difficult for me to understand. Any good stepwise guide available on internet.
I have put some spatial tables in oracle and I can view them on OracleMapviewer.
Please Help me run my WFS/WMS server. I have downloaded GeoServer. I have also downloaded a Jar file from GeoServer for Oracle access. I am using Oracle 10g. but could not run Geoserver on it.

WMS + NODATA

I have orthos and want to supply them with WMS and transparency.
The orthos have black borders. So I used addNodata and viewed them in Mapbuilder 11. The black borders were still there.
On using the object layer - all layers according to docs. With getNodata NOTHING showed up. So this seemed not to work:

On viewing in mapbuilder with zoom level - BLACK borders are still there.
1) Howto see a transparent region with nodata in mapbuilder?
2) Does nodata work as transparent region with WMS on using say PNG/GIF?

Hi,
(1) you probably are using the 11gR1 version (released earlier this year), which does not contain this option. It appears that this doc (dated from October 2009) is listing some additional information that will be in the next patch.
(2) it works for GeoRaster themes specified in the LAYERS parameter of your GetMap request (on the next patch version).
(3) There are no tools from our side to generate this. I think you can use some third party tool such as QGIS with the GDAL-GeoRaster driver.

MapViewer WMS GetMap uses SDO_FILTER

When I use the WMS request GetMap, MapViewer uses SDO_FILTER for the generated queries. This is not always accurate because sometimes features are not selected and drawn. How can I make MapViewer use SDO_RELATE instead of SDO_FILTER?

The fact that mapping applications use sdo_filter is because it is much more faster to supply a resultset which normally is bigger than the actual set needed for a rectangular view in such an application, then to use an operator like sdo_relate to get an exact matching resultset.
After all speed is important in (web)mapping applications.

Spatial uses a spatial index to implement the primary filter. Spatial does not require the use of both the primary and secondary filters. In some cases, just using the primary filter is sufficient. For example, a zoom feature in a mapping application queries for data that has any interaction with a rectangle representing visible boundaries. The primary filter very quickly returns a superset of the query. The mapping application can then apply clipping routines to display the target area.
The purpose of the primary filter is to quickly create a subset of the data and reduce the processing burden on the secondary filter. However, I think, it should not return less features then the sdo_relate.

My phone wont let me download apps

I tried updating apps on my iphone. When I click update all it acts like it's going to download. Then it tells me there's an error. I put in my billing information but it still won't download them. I don't know what to do.

When I sync music or podcasts onto my ipod nano (4th generation 16 GB) from my powerbook (OS X 10.4.11) using itunes (9.0.2) it appears, on the summary page of itunes, to be downloading into the correct blue audio folder however once the ipod is ejected no music or podcasts can be found. Once reconnected and on the summary page of itunes, the downloaded files appear to be in the incorrect orange 'other' file.
I have reset and restored the ipod several times. I tried to run disk utilities and got the following message: "Repairing disk failed with error Could not unmount disk"
Can anyone help me? Please?

A simple solution found after many many hours of painstaking troubleshooting:
the problem seemed to be with itunes
trash itunes from the application folder
re-download itunes from apple website
restore ipod in itunes menu
after doing the above I was able to successfully download music again! Previous attempts to restore the ipod failed to solve the problem probably because of an issue with my itunes software.
I hope this saves other people all the time that I lost in the process!
