    Hi Adrian,
Yes, you are right - those links do not work.
However, I have two suggestions, if you are fine with them, you may like to explore:
    (1) ASAP Implementation Roadmap (V3.6 Dec 2006)  in *.SAR format from [this|https://websmp110.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700000325272007E/SLCK001487.SAR] location
    (2) Go to transaction code RMMAIN in your SolMan system, opt for 'No Project' and select ASAP Implementation Roadmap (V3.7 Jun 2007), assuming that's the latest update in your SolMan content.
Go to the 'structured' view of the Roadmap and then you can download the structure to either MS Project or HTML format.
Well, these approaches can be make-shift arrangement till such time you can lay hands on the proper Roadmap.
    Trust this helps.
    Cheers,
    Srini

  • Add ASAP Implementation Roadmap v3.8 for SolMan

    Hi Experts !
I want to add ASAP Implementation Roadmaps v3.8 in Solution Manager, and have access to the RMMAIN.
I have not found info, but I understand that it should be possible.
    Someone could help me?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Gustavo,
I hink that you are mistaken.  SolMan 7.0 uses ST-ICO 150-700 as component.  As far as I know there is no such 160-700.  I think what you mean it is the LEVEL of that component wich is 15, 16 or 17.  Probably the new roadmap ASAP Implementation is already available in STICO 150-700 level 16 or 17.
Can you please check the status of your components in your SolMan?  Go to System->status and the press the "lupita" and check ST-ICO LEVEL.

  • Re: ASAP Solution Roadmaps in Solution Manager 3.1

    Hi friends,
our functional people are asking about solution ASAP roadmaps. are these solution ASAP roadmaps are pre-loaded into solution manager when it is installed? if not where we can get from? As of now we have a generic ASAP roadmap loaded into SM.
How to access these solution roadmaps in Solution manager?
any help would be highly appreciated
    Thanks,
    Mohan

    Hello Krishna,
Although the ASAP Roadmap that is displayed when you run the RMMAIN transaction is generic, it has the solution specific content. To display this content you have to apply filters on the roadmap. There are 3-filters (Flavors, Roles, Subject Areas). Filter for Flavors to display the roadmap for your requirement (BW, APO etc)
If you already upgraded to Sol man 3.2, there is new updated ASAP Roadmap which has lot of content (accelerators etc) than the roadmap in sol man 3.1 - Please review the notes for
    the latest information

  • I operate with an iMac 10.4 and desperately need to upgrade to a 10.5 as bought new printer for my business and NEED 10.5. Where do I find a 10.5 download ASAP?

Am searching for a  10.5 Leopard download for my Mac OS X, version 10.4.11, 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. As noted in the original question I cannot find or use a printer that needs less than 10.5.  My iMac computer has been very faithful and I started in a small elementary classroom with an Apple IIe in 1984. What solution does someone have for me?  Thank you....nebraskabetty

Leopard (10.5) is not available as a download or as a disk purchase from Apple.  You may find copies on e-bay for sale.
If your iMac can accept Snow Leopard (10.6), a disk can be purchased from the Apple online store.
    Ciao.

  • ASAP V3.7: roadmap for SAP BI

    Hello all,
if you hit page <a href="https://websmp209.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000420636&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202">ASAP Implementation Roadmap</a> (SMP login required), you'll see <i>what's new in ASAP Implementation V3.7 (June 2007) release of the roadmap</i>.
    Interestingly, this version provides:
<i><b>* New roadmap content for SAP Business Intelligence</b>
Completely new content for business process requirements gathering, solution configuration and testing of SAP Business Intelligence</i>
I've downloaded the <i>Complete View</i>, the <i>Methods View</i> and the <i>Output View</i> of ASAP Implementation Roadmap V3.7. However I can't find the referred roadmap content about SAP BI.
Have you got any idea about where I can find it?
    Cheers, <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/profile/Davide+Cavallari">Davide</a>

    Thanks for your feedback, Sunil.
The presentations collected in the web page you suggest are interesting, but I'm afraid they're not in the scope of the <u>AcceleratedSAP (ASAP) Roadmaps</u>.
Refer to the Service MarketPlace's <a href="http://service.sap.com/roadmaps">roadmaps</a> quick link.
    Cheers, Davide

  • Upgrade ASAP roadmap content in Solution Manager

    Hello,
Does anyone of you know how to upgrade the ASAP roadmap content in solution manager?
Current we have solution manager 4.0, SP12. The version of the ASAP roadmap content is V3.6 (Dec. 2006). We currently found from the service marketplace the lastest ASAP implementation roadmap (V3.7)
    https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/roadmaps.
Is it possible to somehow "upload" this new version into Solution Manager roadmap to replace the older version? Or how should we get the roadmap content upgraded?
    Many thanks for your input!!
    Regards,
    Li

It is delivered in ST-ICO SAP Solution Manager Implementation Cont. Ver 3.6 is in SP11, I would imagine V3.7 is in SP 13.
You would have to up your service pack or use the standalone one until then.

  • How to Import Roadmaps into Solution Manager V7.0 EHP1.0

    Hi All,
    The latest ASAP implementation roadmap is currently;
    ASAP Implementation V3.9 January 2009
    However, when I go into our install SolMan (V7.0 EHP1.0 SP 19) the latest version I can see is ;
    ASAP Implementation V3.8 January 2008.
My admin has informed me we are fully patched with all service packs applied and EHP applied.
    How do I:
a.) Get a "install file" for the V3.9 roadmap?
b.) "Import" the Roadmap V3.9 into Solman?
    Many Thanks

    Hi Waseem,
Thanks for your reply. I have already been able to do this. The document you provided shows how to download the HTML version of the Roadmap and install to a local or network physical drive. I am after how to get the Roadmap I have mentioned into SAP Solution Manager so that I can select and use it on my projects.

  • R/3 security implementation using ASAP

    Hi,
We have to implement the R/3 Security and Authorization part for a new project.
We have decided to use ASAP methodology.
Kindly help me decide what steps for Authorization n Role build would fall under the following ASAP steps:
    1 Project Preparation
    2 Business Blueprint
    3 Realization
    4 Final Preparation
    5 Going Live
Also, can for some other methodology?
    Thanks in advance.

    Gautam,
    You can download ASAP here:
    https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000420636&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202
That will give you access to the whole roadmap & you will be able to see all the relevant security tasks & activities for each of the steps (they are flagged as security so easy to spot)
If your company is using ASAP then you will also be able to see it in the Solution Manager instance that they are running it from.

  • NetWwaver 2004s specific Accelerators (ASAP or Solution Manager)

I am deperately trying to get the latest version of BI accelerators for implementing BI Netweaver 2004s.
The only spot I see these being available are in the 'roadmap section of ASAP'.
Downloading the ASAP/SM roadmap takes forever, and has several password protected files.
Is there a zip file somewhere that ONLY contains Accelerators for Blueprint, Design, Realization, etc.  I am only interested in deliverable templates by ASAP phase.
Thanks - and yes points will be rewarded

  • Roadmaps in Multi-Language?

    Hi,
we want to use  the ASAP Implementation Roadmap V3.9 Complete with all documents. We have a SolMan enterprise, but we want to use the ASAP RM outside of the SolMan. We still found the english version of the roadmap to download, but my question is, is there a german version available?
    Best Regards
    André

I don't think there is any way to tell for sure. My guess is that they are dynamically populating the text with the language based on the user selection, and rewriting to friendly urls - but it could just be a mirror site. If the site is small, then maintaining a mirror in a different language is not that bad. If the site is larger, or you need to maintain more than two languages, I would think it would get to be a pain.

  • ASAP Business Intelligence

    Hi everyone,
I am looking for a BI version of the ASAP methodology. Basically I only need a general overview of what generals steps are crucial in each ASAP phase. I couldn't easily find something like that in the service market place.
The closest thing to what I'm looking for was at http://www.sap-press.de/download/dateien/1132/sappress_sap_bi_projektmgmt.pdf on page 44 (only in German). But it does not seem to be the official SAP version, rather an interpretation of the others.
    Best regards
    Daniel

    Hi,
    ASAP Methodology
AcceleratedSAP (ASAP) is SAP's standard implementation methodology. It contains the Roadmap, a step-by-step guide that incorporates experience from many years of implementing R/3. Along with that, AcceleratedSAP contains a multitude of tools, accelerators and useful information to assist all team members in implementing R/3. Quality checks are incorporated at the end of each phase to easily monitor deliverables and critical success factors. ASAP is delivered as a PC-based package, so that - if required - an implementation project can begin prior to having an R/3 System installed.
AcceleratedSAP (ASAP): A comprehensive solution for the introduction of the R/3 System in your enterprise. ASAP and most of its tools can be used independently of an R/3 installation.
The tools available for AcceleratedSAP are:
The Project Estimator, an internal SAP tool which enables SAP consultants to accurately gauge the required resources, the costs and the time frame of implementation. The Project Estimator takes into account the project scope and several project and risk factors.
The Concept Check Tool, a tool enabling you to carry out quality checks on the project preparation, technical infrastructure and R/3 configuration settings. This is done mainly during the first two implementation phases of the R/3 project. In this way you are alerted to potential data volume and configuration conflicts that could lead to performance issues if not addressed.
The Implementation Assistant: The ASAP navigation tool that accompanies you through the five phases of implementation down to the task level. It includes a description and a detailed "how-to" for each task in the Roadmap. Along with that, many tools, templates and documents are hyperlinked to the task. The Implementation Assistant contains the following elements:
ASAP Implementation Roadmap and Project Plan. The Roadmap contains the five phases, from which you can drill down into work packages, activities and tasks. The Project Plan contains three components, a budget plan, a resource plan and a work plan. These are explained in more detail in the next chapter.
The ASAP Roadmap is the successor of the R/3-based Procedure Model, which was used until Rel. 3.1 in R/3 implementation projects.
Knowledge Corner, containing tips and tricks for configuration from consultants, detailed documentation on SAP’s implementation services, information on technical tools, as well as simplification guidebooks and R/3 Customizing wizards.
Question and Answer Database (Q&Adb). Using the R/3 Reference Model structure, the Q&Adb is used to assist in gathering requirements for business processes, conversions, reports, interfaces, enhancements and authorizations. The database provides useful questionnaires to help you define the process needs and also serves as a repository for all this information. Since it is a database, it allows for flexible reporting. The business requirements generated from the Q&Adb are collectively known as the Business Blueprint.
Business Process Master List, to manage configuration, testing and the creation of end user documentation. The Business Process Master List is linked to pre-written Business Process Procedures (BPPs), detailled end-user documentation for R/3 transactions.
Issues Database: supporting project management, this database supports the entering, monitoring and managing of issues that come up during the project.
    Check these links.

    Also check this thread too.
    ASAP Methodology
ASAP methodoligy means nothing but standard process for implementation of SAP, It consists of 5 phases.
    Phase 1: Project Preparation :
During this phase the team goes through initial planning and preparation for SAP project.
    • Define project goals and objectives
    • Clarify the scope of implementation
    • Define project schedule, budget plan, and implementation sequence
    • Establish the project organization and relevant committees and assign resources
    Phase 2: Business Blueprint
The purpose of this phase is to achieve a common understanding of how the company intends to run SAP to support their business. Also, to refine the original project goals and objectives and revise the overall project schedule in this phase. The result is the Business Blueprint, a detailed documentation of the results gathered during requirements workshops.
    Phase 3: Realization:
The purpose of this phase is to implement all the business process requirements based on the Business Blueprint. The system configuration methodology is provided in two work packages: Baseline (major scope); and Final configuration (remaining scope). Other key focal areas of this phase are conducting integration tests and drawing up end user documentation.
    Phase 4: Final Preparation:
The purpose of this phase is to complete the final preparation (including testing, end user training, system management and cutover activities) to finalize your readiness to go live. The Final Preparation phase also serves to resolve all critical open issues. On successful completion of this phase, you are ready to run your business in your live SAP System.
Phase 5: Go Live & Support:
The purpose of this phase is to move from a project-oriented, pre-production environment to live production operation. The most important elements include setting up production support, monitoring system transactions, and optimizing overall system performance.

    Hope this helps.

  • Implementing ASAP Methodology using SAP Solution Manager

    Hi All,
Can any one help me with any documentation regarding ASAP methodology implementation using Solution Manager.
The step by step process and transaction codes used for implementing it are there any guides provided by SAP for implementing the ASAP methodology in Solman.
It's an implementation project that we would like to track each phase in Solman.
Kindly help me to get more details.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
There are the 'ASAP Implementaion Roadmaps' wheras the latest available
is the 'ASAP Methodology for Implementation 7.0' Roadmap, and there are
the 'Upgrade Roadmaps' wheras teh lastest one of them is:
    'Upgrade Roadmap (V3.2)'.
If you are on ST-ICO 150 SP24 both of these Roadmaps
should be available in your system.
There are two ways to display the roadmaps in RMMAIN.
One is to choose a project in RMMAIN, then the roadmap assigned to
the project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN is displayed.
The other one is to display any available roadmap in the system
To display one of the available roadmaps (without a project) choose
the button 'Other Roadmap' in RMMAIN and in the upcomming popup
    hit the button 'No Project'.
After that you should get an addtional button besides the Project
    button called Roadmaps (Other Roadmap).
When you hit now this button you will get a list of all available
    roadmaps.
Some further notes for referencing (although they can be old but still helpful)
