Downloaded 2.0.1 but cant install

Hi,
I just downloaded the new update (which due to my slow internet took about 3 hours). I had my iphone unplugged in as it was downloading. When it finished I plugged it back in, then it started another update download from the beginning.
I have tried syncing etc but it will not update. Any suggestions?

Note that this issue is usually caused by Firefox not being installed properly, so if it happens again the make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.
Open the Firefox disk image file and drag the Firefox program into the Applications folder on your hard drive.<br />
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.

Can't believe no one tried to help you. If it is saying it's installed, have you tried to reboot while holding CMD and R together? it'll take you to the partition of Lion that has the install information, try re installing your os after verifying the disk in disk utility (also available after hitting cmd R). Instead of a disk, Lion makes a partition in your main HDD/SSD. The idea is you'll never have to boot from your original CD again.

I've paid $ 3,99 for Xcode for Snow Leopard. Now there is a new Xcode for Lion, so I downloaded the new one but the installed continued to be the old one. Now App Store says "Installed" and don't allow me to re-download Xcode. How can I proceed?

I've paid $ 3,99 for Xcode for Snow Leopard 12 days ago. After installing Lion I saw there is a new FREE Xcode for it, so I downloaded the new one but after installing automatically Xcode for Lion the Developer folder contained the old one. I deleted the old Xcode but the App Store says "Installed" and don't allow me re-download Xcode.
How can I proceed? I'm guessing whether this problem will occur each time I buy an application from App Store.

Yes, that's righ, Xcode installer was in the Apps folder. I assumed it had been automatically installed and the installer deleted after installation (the same way as Lion is installed).
I tried also the procedure for redownloding applications, and MAS showed both Xcodes (Lion and Snow Leopard) and OS X Lion. We see that buttons for Lion and Xcode for Snow Leopard say 'Install' but Xcode for Lion says 'installed' because there is an Install Scode in the Apps folder.

Is your iPad connected to power ? I think that if you are running on battery and the charge level is below a particular level (maybe 50%, I'm not sure) then it may prevent you installing the update as a precaution so that it doesn't potentially go empty during the install.

I have already tried removing firefox from my firewall. Even when I do that, my firewall doesn't detect firefox and prompt me to add it. And when I manually add it, it still doesn't work anyways. I've already tried the link as well, but it has been unhelpful. :/

Sorry but I don't know where to find my downloads to install. Adobe wanted to update and I downloaded it but can't find it to install. I found some download files but none say Adobe. Also they used to be in the doc but now they are gone.

If you're like me, you occasionally change the directory to which things are downloaded. If you used Safari, open the Preferences pane within Safari by clicking Safari...Preferences from the menu.
On the General tab, there is a setting for "Save Downloaded file to:"
Navigate to that directory in Finder.
Sort the files by Date Added.
The newly downloaded file should be near the top of the list.

Henryo82506079 have you ran the installer after the download has completed? By default the installation files are downloaded to the download folder.

It would be most helpful to know exactly which version of OSX and your computer's hardware configuration. You can find this info by clicking on the Blue Apple in your top Menu Bar>About This Mac.
It also would be helpful to know the software you are having difficulty with and the exact version of update you are trying to update to.

My suspicion is that you are trying to update to an unsupported version of the software/s that you are trying to update which is why it is necessary to know your computers setup and the software (and versions of) that you are trying to update.

I assume you are using a standard Coax areal lead to connect to your sky box? If so you need to find out what channel the sky is comning in on. In order to do this, use the Qomsio player to search the channels and when it finds the SKy signal it will tell you what channel it is transmitted on . Something like Channel 36. Ok, now you have this information, boot the machine and go into Mediacenter. You need to Manually add this channel. As Media center works by using the EPG, any channels such as the skyinput needs to be added.
So from the main menu, go to
settings > TV > Guide > Add missing Channels > Add Channel
Now enter the name of the channel you want displayed when viewing. IE SKY.
Now you have to enter the channel number IE 36 that you got from the Qosmio engine. This will now be place on the next available channel. IE 6/7/8 etc. All you do now is go to the channel and it will display the Sky input.

Problem:
At 99% the windows 7 download is decompressed into an ISO file. The SecureDownloadManager will crash if the
image downloaded is corrupt.
Solution:
Delete the .sdc and .log files in your download location folder.
reopen the .sdx file and complete your download uninterrupted. It should complete and unpack the iso correctly.
