Downloaded 8.0.1; help about shows 8.0, but says I'm up-to-date.
I updated from FF 8.0 to 8.0.1. I rebooted the PC. If I click "help>about" the response still shows 8.0, but the text beneath indicates that I'm up-to-date. What happened to my update?
Using: XP Home Edition, Version 2002 with SP 3 on a HP Laptop.

8.0.1 only contained 2 fixes for the Mac OS, so 8 and 8.0.1 are identical on PCs.

HELP! Downloaded LR5 and when open it shows an error message saying error while trying to change from modules and I can not even import photos. Am I doing something wrong?
I have the same problem, and the solutions in Error changing modules | Lightroom do not work. Even uninstalling and reinstalling a new copy did not solve the problem. As anyone got an idea what other lingering files might be causing the problem?

Hi can anyone help me. I have a apple macbook laptop OSX 10.5.8 . When i push print, it shows my printer but says cannot communicate with printer. (epson stylus nx125). Do I need new drivers? Please help . regards Cindy

Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
Have you tried restarting your wireless router?
3. Have you tried restarting your MacBook? (Be sure to save your work first.)
4. Does the printer have ink? (Doesn't usually generate a 'communications error' though)
5. Have you updated OS X or the program you're trying to print from recently? -
App Store shows that I have 9 updates but all Apps are up to date I have tried re downloading all the updates. All Apps show the correct version number post update.
I have the same issue with one App in the App Store. The app is installed and current. But the App Store says I have an update. I tried restarting. No help.

Close mail and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button to get to the open apps. Then swipe up on the mail app from the multitasking display to close the app.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Well today I downloaded some new updates but ever since I did that my Ipod won't show up on Itunes also The songs I downloaded on Itunes won't show up and the album artwork is mixed up

In Photoshop CC, Help Updates shows no updates but ACR is 8.0
Im on Windows 8, 64 bit. I have tried clearing my AAM cache and that hasn't helped. I tried downloading a patcher but it only trys to install on PS CS6. FOr some reason it won't register that I need to update Camera Raw to 8.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I have CS6 already installed and already updated to ACR 8.1.
Today the Adobe Application Manager seemed to update itself to the Creative Cloud manager so I used that to download and install the Try version of Photoshop CC.
Photoshop CC installs with ACR 8.0; however, if I do a Help / Updates… in PS CC I get the old Adobe Application Manager back, not the Creative Cloud app, and the AAM does find the ACR 8.1 update compatible with PS-CC as well as the CSXS Extensions 4 update for CC that the CC Manager installed for CS6 this morning,
So it seems that the older AAM knows how to update PS-CC and the newer CCM knows how to update the older PS-CS6. -

Synced iPhone shows song titles but says "No Music"
I'm having a few problems upgrading to iCloud and understanding iTunes role in it.
I had hoped that all my iTunes purchases and other music files were now in the cloud (I'd sent em there from iTunes!) and I could now get them onto iPhone. I couldn't work out how to do this, other than Home Sharing. When I synced the old way by connecting to my mac, it appeared to copy all the files to the iPhone, and the titles are all there, but when I try to play the songs, it says "No Music".
I can't work it out!
Any ideas, or links to comprehensive guides to the iTunes / iCloud interface?I can confirm this as well. My songs and videos and podcasts were loaded yesterday, but after removing from the dock after overnight charging this morning, the iPod function indicated that there was no content, even though the "About.." option in the iPhone settings showed all of the iPhone space was being utilized but also reported 0 songs and 0 videos. After powering the iPhone off (hold the sleep button until the red power off slider appears and turn off) and powering back on, essentially a reboot, all of my song and video content reappears. Maybe it has something to do with the overnight docking/sync and interaction with iTunes?
Hopefully others who experience this can find this post before they lose hope. Other than this glitch, the iPhone has been spectacular...like an artifact from the future. -
I updated my Iphone 4s to the IOS 7.0.2 and i have having a lot of trouble. My apps are not found, neither is my music or videos. When I tried to reload the purchased there was NOTHING there! I need help! I did try to reupdate and it said that the software was up to date
If it's in recovery mode, the data is already gone. Why did you never back up your important data?

My iPad won't charge after plugging into my computer and after holding down the power and home button at same time for 10 seconds… Can anybody help? Has IOS7.0 but not the most up-to-date version
It's just the battery sign - nothing else. I've tried to reboot by holding down both power and home key for 10+ seconds, waiting for the apple logo - but nothing happens. It's plugged into the imac at the moment. I tried to recharge it overnight using the normal charger - but no luck. It went dead during a Skype call with a friend - even though it was powered into the mains - albeit at a low battery level at the time

IIn the latest version of Firefox I find I cannot find where any files I have downloaded have been put and I am not given any option about locatiob or opening. In the previous version of Firefox I didn't know where they had been downloaded to but at least I could see the fuile in the download window and open it from there. With this version of Firefox the download window in empty. So even trying to download is a waste of time
Don't know if there is an option make the download window stay up, but you can bring it back with Ctrl+J then right-click on the download to open the folder it was downloaded to.

I just got a new computer. I have downloaded ITunes and authorized it. It shows my apps and music, but says something about "downloading all". Do I have to download everythingon to this new computer or is it already in there? I also have an iPad that I need to sync. Is there anything special I need to do with the new computer before syncing the iPad?

Issy2090Your past purchases are not on the computer. By choosing download all, those purchases will download to the computer.
Once authorized to your iTunes account you can control the computer.
When syncing the iPad the first time you will get the warning " this iPad is synced with another computer, syncing will erase all contents and replace with the contents of this computer"

I can watch all of my old TV shows on iTunes, but the last one I downloaded jammed up after about one minute. I tried quitting I-tunes and re-starting my computer to no avail. iTunes won't even let me delete it so I can try downloading it again. But it will let me delete other episodes.

"Help About" dialog still shows 8.0 after applying 8.0.1 patch
Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone who has successfully applied the patch sees version 8.0.1 in the Help > About dialog box. I updated via the Help > Update option and I did see the update downloaded. I was then asked to close Elements 8 so the patch could be applied which I did. However, how does one know if the patch was successfully applied? Most softwate show the latest version when you click Help > About. I still see ver 8.0.gtacyclist wrote:

Can anyone provide confirmation beyond assumptions? My files likewise have a created date of 9/29/2009, with a date modified matching the 8.0.1 patch installation date (in this case 3/13/2010). In the other forum post referenced above, Steve Grisetti unfortunately did not distinguish between date created and date modified, and I have no idea where he came up with the 2/28/2010 date.
