Downloaded album tracks not being together...

i have downloaded an album, and for some reason instead of all the fourteen tracks appearing together in sequence, as normal, they have appeared as if in two separate albums, how can i rectify this?

I, too, relied on the name of the iTunes library being displayed on the top header bar of the iTunes window. I have 2 iTunes libraries that I go back and forth on all the time, and now I really have to look at the contents to figure out which library I'm in at any given moment. What a pain!! And what a stupid move to diminish functionality, Apple. You folks have been doing this more all the time lately -- taking away perfected functionality -- and either deleting it or changing it just for the sake of a new look. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! Please!
A good example of that is the dim grey text in all too much Apple everything these days. Black is beautiful, please! And especially useful in reading!! And, apparently, enough people thought so, too, since I see black text is back in iTunes 11. It went grey, and you heard from enough people that that was something no one should have changed. Well, as the Gipper said: Here you go again! Bring back the Library Name. You've got plenty of room; you don't need to put it in another vertical space -- just put in in line with the other stuff you've got there. Put it left of the "Search Library." That would be fine. But now I can't find the actual movie...I go to iTunes to purchases and view movies , to downloads and searched the title of the movie...I can see an icon of it and it is in a separate place from other purchases but it says downloaded in faded lettering. Where is it?

Downloaded album art not saved in mp3 file?

When I use iTunes to download missing album art, that art is not being saved in the MP3 file. I verified this behavior by checking that the file timestamp and size didn't change after the art was successfully downloaded and displayed within iTunes. As a second check, I also deleted the music from my library and re-added it, and the art work is missing again.
Only if I drag the jpg image to the blank artwork window does it seem to "stick".

Yes, if you download album art through iTunes and then later manually add art to the tag, the downloaded version is replaced. I think it still remains in the folder on your computer, but it does get replaced in the native song file. What I'll do is download the artwork from iTunes, then copy it and paste it directly into the tag for a permanent "attachment" to the song.

Next album track not playing automatically

When I listen to my music on I Tunes the next album track does not come on automatically. Can anyone advise me what I need to do please - presumably soemthing to do with the settings ?

Are the tracks unchecked perhaps? Unchecked tracks are skipped during normal playback but can be played individually.
Alternatively, if you're in shuffle mode and all tracks have "Skip when shuffling" selected then once the first track completes nothing else should play.

2 tracks not being included with rest of an album

I have 1 x album which contains 17 tracks. The album appears twice in my iTunes library: 1 with 15 tracks and 1 with 2 tracks. I've been through and made sure all the names etc are correct (no spaces at the end of a name/title or anything), but whatever I try, the 2 refuse to sit with the other 15.
Any ideas??

No worries. Sometimes iTunes will insist on keeping a couple of tracks separate for no apparent reason. Normally I would recommend the technique in Tried that, there are STILL too many covers! as this will preserve ratings, playcounts, etc. but having set the correct tag info. deleting and reimporting often does the trick too.

TS1424 I downloaded an album off of the itunes store that had the names of all the actual artists in the artists column but the songs that were downloaded are clearly not being performed by the right people, how can I get my money back?

Is there a way I can get a refund for this purchase?

Songs with the same album art not grouped together in iTunes for Windows

Brand new iTunes user here - do not yet have an iPod! (Needed some music only on iTunes)
When I first started up iTunes, it imported all of my music I already had on my computer. A few of them are soundtracks with different artists.
When they are shown in the iTunes library, the soundtracks have been broken up by Artist instead of staying as a whole album. How do I get the songs back together as one album? I found the folder on my computer where they are stored and combined them there, but they are still separate in the iTunes library.

Mark the tracks on the album as "Part of a compilation" and fill in the Album Artist field as "Various Artists". Click on the first track of your album to highlight it, hold down the shift key and click on the last track to highlight everything in between. Right click on the selection and choose Get Info. You'll get a message asking if you want to edit multiple items, say yes. If you are using iTunes 8 in the box that opens go to the Options tab and change "part of a compilation" to Yes and choose OK.
Also in your library click on the title bar of album column to bring all the tracks in the same album together. If you keep clicking in the title you can choose it to sort by Album, Album by Artist or Album by Year. Clicking on the little triangle on the right side of the column header changes the sort direction. Pointing up and the column is sorted in Ascending order (A to Z). Pointing down and the column is sorted in Descending order (Z to A).

Zen M last final album track not load

Whenever i load an album onto my M, the last track does not load. It only happens on cd's that have extra media attached to the last track e.g. videos. how do i change the setting to add that last track? i can add the track on after if i download it onto my computer.

The undocking issue are you sure the arrows are still moving. I made that mistake when I first got the vision M. I thought it was still updating.
The arrows stay still when you can remove the Vision M and kinda rotate, actually move when you are tranferring songs.
Looks similar.

Album art not being synced correctly

I used an external tagging program to embed album art into all my song files. They show up correctly in iTunes when selected or playing, but they do not, in all cases, sync to the iPod. However, I have found that if I go to an album that has art in iTunes and does not sync to the iPod, and play each track just for an instant, and resync, the art transfers. What's weird is that it's not consistently NOT showing up on the iPod... and I certainly don't want to have to hunt down every piece of music with art that doesn't sync to the iPod and play that song. Is there a way to make iTunes refresh the library without deleting the database? I don't use iTunes to manage my physical music files.

Album track not playing in iTunes11, plays through iTunes Match on other devices

I bought an album (Raymond van het Groenewoud - Live in de AB) but track 3 (Jouw Liefde) refuses to play in iTunes 11. It plays fine on my iPhone4 and iPad3 through iTunes Match...

ok after another hour of playing around i might have half solved this...I turned match off via my account within the store which didn't seem to work properly, but then found another option to "turn off" via the store dropdown in the menu bar which does seem to have worked on my mac (but not yet on my iphone so still need to figure this out). Now I have turned it off on my mac it seems to offer me the option to buy it again - but as i've already paid for the year I don't know if there is the option to turn on again if I choose to later?

Album import not staying together

When I import an album to my library and onto the IPOD Nano the Library does not put all the tracks into a single album. Can I manually drag all the songs into an album so the library stores it that way and I can sync onto the IPOD ? I'm using software 1.0.4
I saw a "manual manage music and videos" potion but don't want to select that without more info. Any help appreciated.

HT1473 I am attempting to import my CD's but I'm finding some songs and albums are not being accepted. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

After attempting to import music from CD's I am seeing that some of the tracks are not listed in my iTunes library and in some cases, whole albums are missing. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong or how to correct?

Now that we've established that you have the CD correctly imported into iTunes, we can move on from there.
Connect the iPod to iTunes. When it shows up as a Device (in the left window of iTunes) select it. You will be looking at the Summary tab (or pane).
On this pane, my choice is to have the option to Sync only ticked songs and videos selected. I recommend this option for you. This is relevant to the next step.
At the top of the pane select Music. On this pane, check the options for Syncing. You need to have Sync Music selected and then choose either Selected Playlists (which will only put your choice of Playlists onto your iPod) or Entire Music Library. If you select "Entire Music Library" then all your songs (one exception) will be transferred to your iPod.
The exception is: if you un-tick a song in your iTunes Library, then at the next Sync, it will be removed from the iPod but kept in your Library.

Album sorting not being saved

I am using Photoshop Elements 8 and I successfully created and saved 3 albums and copied them to my IPAD using ITUNES. They were in the correct sorted sequence. I then went back and tried to make a best of show album with my 3 star pictures and every time I sort them and save them (with Done), they go back to the original sequence (not the one I want and I saved!). The 3 albums I created earlier are now out of sequence as well and cant be resorted either. Any ideas what's going on?

Did you check the sort by bar near te right upper corner of the Organizer window, it should have 'Album Order' selected?
This is the widget which has Date Newest First/Date Oldest First and Album Order in it.
