Downloaded an update by accident

Hi everyone, I downloaded an update for final cut pro by accident and now I can't open my fcp. files...does anybody know how to remove a recent update???

See. I Bought my iMac with final cut express 4 installed in it. I've been using it fine. today, about an hour ago, i said yes to a software update, i didn't realize that it said, FINAL CUT PRO HD update. and now, when i try to open up a project, it tells me that i am missing an AGP graphics card to be able to view the project.Hardware Overview:

Yes, and, I try to restore. I have the T-Mobile sim card in it just to clarify. It will not let me get passed that, it does not accept the t-mobile sim card. i tried restoring it using wifi, cellular, and i cant get i tunes. I am scared that if i take the tmobile sim card out and put the at&t one in just to complete the restoration process that the iphone will lock again and not read the tmobile sim card, then all my hard work has gone for nothing. You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com

I tested it on an old iPhone 3G and got the same problem so it is not an iOS 5 issue. My WI-FI connection is working fine. I was wondering if this is an App Store problem? I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well. This might be the common thread.

If you want to use your current ID you will either have to provide a credit card or redeem an iTunes gift card. Otherwise you can create a new ID without a credit card to purchase free apps by following this exactly as written: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534.

I have decided to dedicate this thread to the wonderful errors of Lion OSX. Each time I find a huge problem with Lion I will make note of it here.
Today I discovered a new treasure of doggie poop in Lion. No Save As......
I repeat. No Save As. In text editor I couldn't save the file with a new extension. I finally accomplished this oh so majorly difficult task (because we all know how difficult it should be to save a file with a new extension) by pressing duplicate and then saving a copy of the file with a new extension. Yet then I had to delete the first copy and send it to trash. And of course then I have to secure empty trash because if I have to do this the rest of my mac's life I will be taking up a quarter of percentage of space with duplicate files. So this is the real reason they got rid of Save As: so that it would garble up some extra GB on the ole hard disk.
So about 20 minutes of my time were wasted while doing my homework and studying for an exam because I had to look up "how to save a file with a new extension in mac Lion" and then wasted time sitting here and ranting on this forum until someone over at Apple wakes up from their OSX-coma.

What sort of card is it, debit or credit ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts about them being declined.
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support again : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management

Do you have any restrictions for purchasing apps on the phone? Settings > General > Restrictions. If you have a Mac computer or another Apple device can you purchase things in the App Store using the same Apple ID on something else?

I have found an article that should help you resolve this issue with updating your iTunes. The article can be found here:

and the specific part of the article you will want to look at first is right here:
"Error 42023" through "Error 42408"
These alerts might occur when trying to authorize iTunes or during launch when iTunes checks for authorization information.
Install the latest iTunes from apple.com/itunes/download/
Remove the SC Info folder.
If that does not resolve the issue, see iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3.

I'm having the same issue. And Dreamweaver now crashes after just a few seconds.

My iPad mini would not connect in order to download an update, I decided to go to original settings, the screen is frozen showing the apple logo and nothing else, it will not respond.

My new iPad mini would not download an update bnor allow access to app store downloads etc, I decided to revert to original factory settings, the screen is now frozen, showing only the Apple logo in white on a black background, it is now frozen, what can I do?

I suspect if you're trying to open a file in 08 that's been opened in 09 the file has been updated to 09 and will not open in 08.
