Downloaded app to wrong computer

I recently received an email from Apple that I had been gifted an app. Without realizing the consequences, I downloaded the app to my Work computer (WinXP Pro). But all of my Apps and Music are stored on my Home computer. Now if I try to sync to my Work computer to get the new app, it says it will erase all of the apps currently installed on my iPhone 3GS.
How can I get the new app onto my iPhone? Thanks!

Just redownload it on the other computer by logging into the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase it.

Yes, AS LONG AS you are connected to a working Wi-Fi network that is connected to the Internet.

Yes. Search the App Store or do some research via Google regarding google calorie tracking apps.

You can only check for email when your iPod is connected to a working Wi-Fi network. It does not use a cellular data connection like an iPhone or 3G/4G iPad can.

Songs prices vary. Any where from free to a couple of dollars. You'll have to just look around the Music Store to get a better feel for the pricing model.
(6) What kind of accessories would anyone recommend for this IPOD?
Definitely a case of some sort that will protect it from scratches or further damage if dropped. That's about all I will offer though.

8 GB isn't that much storage space especially after you consider that some of that is taken up by iOS and take into consideration how storage capacity is reported. You'll only have about roughly 6.5 GB of free space to use. So if possible, I would purchase the version with the next highest capacity at 32 GB.

I had to download APP updates to the computer as I have no wifi access on the ipad. How do I get the updated copies over to the ipad - can't find a "synch" button anywhere with new software update?

In the left hand sidebar you will see your device
There are a series of pages in the right hand window, Click on Apps
There you will see all the apps for your device and a button to the side of each one either Remove or install. When you have made your choices click on apply at the bottom right and they should go over to your device

Purchased app on wrong computer

I first owned an Ipod Nano for which I had a Itunes account on my old computer. I recently purchased an Iphone 3G and downloaded Itunes on my lap top. I was uploaded music from my old computer's Itunes to my Iphone and happened to purchase an app on that computer. I entered my Itunes account name/password for my Iphone, but when I went to transfer the app over to my Apps page on Itunes, I got an warning message saying I would loose all the information and apps that I have already downloaded to my Iphone if I chose to do this. So I didn't transfer it. But when I connected my Iphone to my lap top, the app wasn't there when I logged in? Can anyone help me? I paid like $10.00 for this app and don't want to pay twice for it, but I don't know how to get it on my Iphone without losing all the other apps. Thanks!

You could connect to the iTunes App Store from your iPhone and redownload it directly to the phone. Once you've bought an app, you can redownload it free whenever you want.
That gets the app onto your phone.
If you want to use your desktop to back up the phone (highly advisable, just in case), you need to get your music, videos etc into iTunes, redownload all your apps to the new machine, and then sync. Or, if you still have the iTunes library from the other machine, copy the apps folder onto the new machine so you don't have to redownload.

Why I can download app on a computer, but not on an iPad?

I bought my mom an iPad Mini, as a Christmas gift and I am trying to set it up for her. Well in any event I was hoping to load the mobile app for her bank on to said iPad. Problem I am finding is that when I do a search for First Interstate in the App Store on her iPad I get no results, while I find it using iTunes on my stepdad's Mac Mini. Did not see this, as a problem, because I thought I could just sync the iPad to the Mac Mini and thus load the app. Well I get message stating the I need a newer version of iTunes, but said version requires a newer version on Mac OSX. Any reason why I can download this app on the computer, but no on the iPad? I may a work around with my MacBook Pro, but I am hoping she won't need to do this.

If I'm looking at the correct app then it's optimised for the iPhone - when you do the search in the App Store apps on the iPad, on the results screen tap the 'iPad Only' button at the top left of the screen and select 'iPhone Only' instead and it should then show.

Need to deactivate old computer so I can download apps to new computer

I have a dual boot setup iMac that the screen went bad on. I updated to a new iMac and need to download creative cloud to it. Can some tell me how to go about unauthorized the previous two downloads on my old computer on your end so I can set the new computer up.

How to transfer downloaded apps to another computer?

i've downloaded some free apps on my work computer through itunes. is there anyway i, copied them onto a usb thumb drive and put them on my home computer (as i don't have access to internet at home). How can i get them to show up on itunes to sync to my iphone?
I also downloaded some apps on my iphone through the app store, but when i try to sync to my computer at home it says i need to authorize the computer. how can i do this?

Your home computer will have to be authorized with your iTunes/Apple account. Then take those files from the USB drive and transfer them to your HDD. Locate your iTunes folder, in that locate the mobile apps folder. Put the files in that folder. Now open up itunes, if it is authorized the apps will be there.
To authorize the computer you will need an internet connection to verify your account/password in itunes.

Can't download Apps on second computer

My downloaded Creative Cloud window is empty (no Apps subheads etc.), just a help/quit option. This is my second computer that I want to install Creative Suite on. Signed in, says I can download, says it is downloading the particular app, then a lot of nothing. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Creative Cloud and various other troubleshooting measures, but nothing gets me past the naked window. I am on an Apple Mac and migrated my application folder from other computer – I think this is where the problem began, but unable to solve it. Any hints welcome.
