Downloaded Apps open and then close immediately

The downloaded apps, not the apps that came with the phone, close immediately after i open them. i have reseted it multiple times and it doesnt work. HELP!!

I too have just experienced this, I suspect because I hooked my iphone up to a friends laptop when visiting on holiday (in Canada) and thought that rather than opening a new topic, I'd add on the end of this one...
I have tried all suggestions found on Google (a restore, de-authorising my laptop and re-authorising with the itunes store, not syncing apps, downloading a new app (on the iphone and on my laptop) and then re-syncing and none of this has worked.
Interestingly, if I download a brand new app via my laptop and sync it to my iphone, it works but all of my old apps restored from the backup open and then close within 2 seconds.
Can anyone help?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight. Do NOT use an iPod/iPhone charger. Do NOT use a computer's USB port. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). Software update and now Safari and Mail open and then close immediately

We installed the latest 8-1 software updates on our G4 and Cube.
Now Safari and Mail open and then immediately quit on the Cube - but no peroblems are experienced on the G4.
Do I need to reinstall Tiger and start over?

A couple of things to try before taking those drastic measures.
1. Repair permissions, restart.
2. Boot with the install disk, launch Disk Utility, and verify/repair the disk.
3. Boot into safe mode and see if it works there.
4. Reinstall the 10.4.7 COMBO update, restart, repair permissions, and restart.
If those don't work, consider Archive & Install rather than an Erase & Install. See http://www.apple.com/support/tiger/install/ for details.

Try a hard reset to see if that clears things up. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, it may be necessary to restore the iPod from a previous backup or even factory defaults.

All of a sudden, 2-3 apps just close immediately, but in one (Songbook) there are 300 files. What happens if I have to reinstall, will I lose the files

Photoshop CC opens and then closes immediately. What gives?

I have signed up for the Photoshop CC and Lightroom package. Lightroom is running fine (Lightroom 5.2, 64-bit, Windows 7).
However, although Photoshop seemed to install OK, when I open it, it immediately shuts down.
When I look in Creative Cloud manager, it says Photoshop CC is "up to date".
Uninstalled Photoshop CC, logged out of Creative Cloud, logged back in again, and re-installed Photoshop CC.
Installation appeared to go OK. I started PS, window opened, and immediately closed. Was asked to complete registration by logging with my Adobe ID. I did (had done so previously but went rhough it again) but PS still crashes.
Signed out of Creative Cloud; signed back in again; PS still crashes, but a pop-up appeared stating that I should complete my registration by signing in with my Adobe ID. Did so, again.
Rebooted. Still no success.
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

There's a fix!
Un-install Photoshop CC.
Un-install Adobe CC.
Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and find SLCache and delete it.
Go to: C:\ProgramData\Adobe and find SLStore and delete it.
Restart.
Install Adobe CC.
Install Photoshop.
Restart.

My settings and messages app open and then close in a matter of seconds, I've tried restoring from the back up of and downloading a free app. Nothing's worked. I'd really like to avoid setting up as new. I'm on 6.1 PLEASE HELP

i'm also having major CPU problems w/ FF 29.0.1. when i restart the app it calms down again but after loading tabs it steadily climbs up to 100% after not too long. i have checked out the 2 CPU links/articles above and do all the basic troubleshooting and tips, but with all the FF tools & add-ons isn't there some sort of CPU monitor that has the ability to display which extensions/scripts are hogging the CPU? Activity Monitor on Mac just shows the total used by the app. it's impossible in my case to efficiently disable dozens of add-ons & scripts, restart, and test each one by one b/c it can take several hrs before the CPU starts to spike high again. i have no time for this.

I've just updated OS to 10.10.1 and Finder keeps trying to open and then closes every 2 seconds with the message Finder is not Available. If Safari is opened full window it immediately closes and will only work with window smaller than maximum.

When I have the downloads window open and I close the browser window, how can I get the browser to open the homepage the next time I start it while the download window is still open?

When I have the downloads window open and I close the browser window, the next time I reopen the browser while the downloads are still going, it returns me to the last page I was on. All previous versions of Firefox would return me to my homepage which I would prefer. Please let me know if this is possible.

When you re-open Firefox and choose Restore Session, by default it picks up your most-recently-open window, and the other windows should then show up in Recently Closed Windows.
The Firefox add-on Session Manager lets you manage how many closed windows and closed tabs are saved, in case it's not enough.

AcroRd32 Opens and Then Closes when Invoked from VB in PowerPoint

Hi,
I am trying to open a pdf file embedded in a PowerPoint presentation while in presentation mode.
Theoretically, I should be able to click on the embedded object and have it open in its proper application.
When I try to open a pdf file, AcroRd32 opens, briefly displays the document, and then closes immediately.
This happens in both versions Acrobat Reader 9 and X. The problem didn't exist when using Office 2003, but now exists in Office 2007.
I can open the document when in editing mode - just not in presentation mode.
I have built an Add-In for PowerPoint.
My VB code for opening the document is:
