Downloaded epson update... now not printer

I recently downloaded an pdate for y Epson NX200 as suggested on my Mac software updates.
Now, my printer which used to work fine will no longer print and get an error message.
Anyway to remove the update?

I called Apple after my system (MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion - OX 10.8.4) started giving me a "rastertoescpll failed" message when trying to print through my Epson Artison 814. They asked if my MacBook had a name. Not knowing, she talked me through looking to see (opening "System Preferences", then opened the "Sharing" folder), and sure enough it had no name. I hadn't named it (for whatever reason), so I gave it a name, & now my printer works through my system again.
I don't no if this helps everyone, but at least some of you might get results from this (An Apple user member, Yuengdog, posted the same fix in another thread, & there are 5 pages of members thanking him for the fix).
I also stressed to Apple how many others seem to be having difficulty. I don't know if that will make a difference, but we'll see.

I have a macbook pro I updated to Lion 10.7.4 and now my epson 3880 will not print decent prints! Worked fine before but I cannot load profiles ofr paper now and therefore cannot get quality prints now! I am an artist and this is a large part of my business is there an answer for this issue?

sounds like your phone was hacked to work with your carrier. Now it is relocked to the rightful carrier. It cannot be reactivated without a SIM from that carrier.

Epson rx680 will not print after apple update print driver

I have an Epson RX680 which worked perfectly until I allowed the latest apple update to be installed with newest epson printer driver. It now will not print but comes back with a rasce blah blah error. Tried restoring to the previous software but to no avail.

Epson R1900 will not print or update

Can’t get my R1900 to print. Utility see the printer and will tell me my ink level. But can’t get it to print anything.
Apples Epson update did nothing.
Epson driver installers crash/quit after verifying password. Did the Rosetta thing, tried under safeboot and even tried to install drivers on my MacBook Pro. They still quit. Epson is at a loose and says to ask Apple...

The latest R1900 drivers are available via Apple's Software Update. However before trying to download them from there, you should remove all drivers from your system. Here's how to reset your printing system:
1. Control-click or right-click a print queue in the ""Printers"" pane.
2. Choose ""Reset printing system..."" from the contextual menu.
3. Click ""OK"" in the ""Are you sure..."" confirmation sheet.
You can follow the troubleshooting steps in the Apple articles:

If all of this doesn't work you can see if the issue is with the user account or system wide by creating a new OSX user account and see if that user has the same issue.

Why is my Ipod MB531C not downloading current updates when these apps walways updated before. I have the latest update for my Ipod touch and this does not work now.

An MB531C is a 2G iPod. Those can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. Many app update require iOS 4.3 or higher and thus you can't update/use /install those updated apps.
Otherwise please provide clearer/more information about your question/problem

Download All updates button not working now?

Just today, on multiple machines the Download All Updates button stopped working for App updates. I had to click each App Individually.
I'm using iTunes 10..3.1

I am also having this problem. The automatic downloads is for new purchases only. AG and I are trying to update existing APPs in iTunes and that is where there is an issue. I too have to download each update individually and some APP updates won't update at all.
Any helpful suggestions out there?
I'm using iTunes 10.3.1 also.

i am on an old intel mac pro with lion 10.7.5 using photoshop cs6 13.05 64 bit
i can not print a3 i get a cropped a4 shape in one corner of the a3 page
the file will print fine in preview but not through photoshop.
print dialogue says eveything should be ok displays in the window as it should print .
but doest come out

I take your point. Mail.app is in the Applications folder alongside iphoto.app, however some are in the OS and some are not. What I meant was it should be obvious that after an upgrade you either wait for the update notices, or run Software Update after an OS upgrade, not before. Taking a Time Machine backup before upgrading the OS is also essential but missed by many.
You can leave the suggestion at http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html to include reminders in the How to Upgrade and during an upgrade. Apple will not reply but will take notice.

Epson stylus r300 not printing

After installing a recent Epson printer update through the app store, my printer causes an error log to be sent to Apple each and every time I attempt to print. This adds to my woes in that my Epson perfection 1250 scanner also refuses to work after a recent update. I've tried to update through the app store update facility, but no updates are available. This is getting me down a little as I really like my new 27" imac, but without a printer it's almost useless. What's going on with these updates? Can I restore to earlier drivers? Epson web site suggests no - rather that any update must be installed through the app store. I've also tried repairing permissions which appeared to fix some printer issues according to the log, but didn't solve my problem.

Step 1
Open the Sharing pane in System Preferences. If the Computer Name is not set, enter a name. You may first have to click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings.

If there's no improvement after Step 1, restore the following folder from the last backup you made before the EPSON update:
/Library/Printers/EPSON
You may have to reset the printing system for the change to become effective.

EPSON WORKFORCE 633 not printing pdf files

in the last week i have purchased 2 of the Epson workforce 633 all in one printer, for 2 separate imac desktops, both have been installed and function perfectly except that one WILL print all documents of any file type, the other (mine ) will also print anything EXCEPT a pdf document. the differences in the 2 computers is minimal, the one that will print everything is using Acrobat reader, while the 1 that will not print a pdf has Acrobat 9 pro installed. All settings in the acrobat preferences appear to be identical. When i look at the print que of the non working imac the status reads "stopped"...does any one have any suggestions, i am at a loss ....regards
