Downloaded FF4: always crashes; how do I get my older version back?

I have Vista Home Premium and downloaded FF4 yesterday. Whenever I attempt to launch FF4 I very briefly get the Google home page but it immediately crashes and the program closes. How do I get my old Firefox version back? I want to get rid of FF4. If I cannot get rid of FF4 I will be forced into using Microsoft (which is being used to connect to this site and this message.

Restore the backup before you installed.
If you didn't make a backup, at very minimum make sure your Music library isn't compromised by locating the folder you selected the music to be in (usually in Users -> yourname -> Music) and make sure there are several MB of data there by clicking once on the folder, and selecting Get Info from the File menu in the Finder.
If you can't find it, try to locate parts of track names with Find Any File.

then determine which parent file of the .mp3 or .mpa files you have contains all of the music files by getting info under each previous folder in the folder tree.
Once you determine which folder contains all your music, back it up using the Finder, or backup the entire hard drive using cloning software at least to two different drives or two complete copies on DVDs:

You'll then want to erase and install 10.6 from the system installer you used to put 10.6 on your Mac, and run the combo 10.6.8 updater and apply the necessary security updates:

Then you can install older versions of iTunes for the Mac from here, once you determine which version is compatible with 10.6.8 that you liked before by first checking which version is compatible with what you need:

You kinda have that backwards, Roboform needs to support Firefox. If you upgrade to Roboform version 7, you'll have Roboform working in Firefox 4.0.1.

When I try to open FF4 I get the message it can't be opened because it is not supported on my architecture. I can't believe no-one else has had this problem. You must have a lot of internet duffers who don't really know what they're doing. I need to get my old version of FF back if I'm going to run it on my computer. Google "old apps itunes" and you'll find a site with downloads of earlier versions. At first, you'll be told that iTunes can't access your music library because it's a newer version, but you can get around that by dragging the music data file onto iTunes. There's also a tutorial on YouTube that explains pretty clearly how to go back to older versions of iTunes.

I, recently, purchased a new HP 4500 Printer and it came with a video-capture extension/plugin. Attempting to use it, the program informed me that I needed to be using, either, an EI or a Firefox Browser mentioning version 1.5 {I think it was} or later. The Firefox browser I was using was 3.something; so, everything was going along FINE. When I installed the video capture program, it added the plugin to the browser ~ PERFECTLY!!! I, also, had MANY other plugins that worked and that I used somewhat regularly!!! NOT ANY MORE!!! YOU and your TOTALLY INEPT, WISHTHEYWUZ "PROGRAMMERS" have STOLEN nearly HALF of my COMPUTER!!! I had a iPod 4G and it suffered crashes after upgrading to iOS6, especially in the App Store and iTunes store. Safari often crashed as well, but it occurred same as before I upgraded.
My iPod barely had any apps on it, having only 3GB used of 6.5GB available space (I had 8GB version).
I got the new iPod Touch 5th generation a few days ago and it works perfectly. Never had a single crash running any app, game, or store.
This has led me to believe that iOS6 was primiarily for the new line of devices and not really optimized for the previous generation. Thus, I think that iOS6 may be the last highest supported OS for the iPod-4 and the iPhone-4 and 4S and future operating systems will not be compatible with the previous generation.

For iBooks try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your purchase history. Then on your iPad go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and see if you can download an older compatible version of it.
You can also try similar for the Kindle app - I don't know whether Amazon have made older versions of their app available in the store, so it may not work for that. If not, then as a work-around you could use their cloud reader 'app' : http://read.amazon.com - go to that site on Safari on your iPad and then create a homescreen shortcut for it (kindle cloud reader help)
