I have tried to download firefox 5 times and I never get a toolbar on windows 7.

I have downloaded firefox from the official site several times but when I open the download it does not have a toolbar on top and no back or forward arrows . When I am on a site, if I look at a picture or individual story there is no way to return to the main page. This is using windows 7 and I have plenty of available space.

The Firefox help page warned me that I was using a vulnerable version of Firefox. I use the release version but that was an automatic update. Hi, after the auto update ruined my internet explorer in windows, I am unable to open any kind of browser window, I cannot get to the Internet Properties from my computer or the programs. I am unable to uninstall ie8 because of missing files that came from microsoft update. I still have a connection to the internet, however, with no way of getting to it...So I am wondering if it is possible to download firefox onto a jump drive and install it on my otherwise, useless, computer.

I downloaded FIrefox 5 but when I try to install iget a message that the file is corrupt.

I have downloaded Firefox 5 to my "Download" box. When I click on the Firefox 5 icon I get the usual small window that asks if I want to install the program. When I click on the install buton, I get a small popup that says the file is "corrupt" and when I click "OK" it closes without installing. Hard to use new version when I cannot even install it. article on a3webtech.com says this is a safer way to get firefox onto a new pc so that you don't have to open Internet Explorer to download it. reason given is that without good security installed you're asking for trouble by opening your new pc and connecting to internet with IE. But, somewhere else a comment was made that registry info. may be messed up by downloading and then installing from a flash drive.

This may be caused by the large amount of visited sites and as a result this can slow down Firefox
Can you please try to clean your browsing history and cookies by doing the following:
1. Click the menu button, choose "History", and then "Clear Recent History"
2. Select how much history you want to clear ( Everything is recommended)
3. Finally, click the "Clear Now" button.
If none of the above work then I would suggest to reinstall Firefox and see if that solves the issue.
